Good day dear mates! So it's the middle of July and the second part of this wonderful time is waiting us ahead! But some questions are still actual for us. One of them is how to make children stay active and keep entertain?
In my opinion answer depends from different aspects. I'll try to structure my opinion based on the age of children and based on my experience.
Well, let's get started!
I want to start by talking about children from 2 years old. Since if we talk about younger children, then they are most likely to be close to their parents and it is much easier to entertain them.
In my experience, children at this age are attached to their parents and require a lot of attention. However, if you combine them into groups (I'm not talking about kindergartens now), then it will be easier to entertain and support children's activity.
Also at this age, children are very inquisitive, and if in the city you can visit the zoo, attractions or playgrounds with them, then outside the city you can go to the beach or to the park. Just do not forget about safety, because at this age you can not leave children unattended. Also at this age, I would already consider the option that it is possible to install a very small pool, swings, soap bubbles and a ball for playing with children. And of course let's don't forget about bicycles! At this age children can start to ride by bicycle.
Now let's move on to children aged 5 and over. At this age, children are already beginning to show some independence. They know how to ride bicycles or maybe even learn rollerblading. Also, children begin to unite in groups and already play on the playgrounds on their own. Children learn games such as football or, for example, tag, hide and seek and hopscotch.
If the territory allows, you can fly a kite with them or play hide and seek. Also, they may still be interested in blowing huge soap bubbles or playing crispy plates with a dog, launching boomerangs. And creative people can be invited to draw not only in albums, but also on curtains with gouache. Or, for example, involve them in painting walls or fences. Of course, this should not look like vandalism, but be performed as an aid to adults or be part of the beautification of the territory.
3.Children aged 8 - 9 years old are already calmly playing with each other, have their own social circle and are more independent. At this age, you can focus on the previously mentioned games and activities, or organize a joint trip to nature with an overnight stay in a tent or camping. For children, this will be a new experience and it will leave a lot of impressions. Or what about fishing with children?
Also, if possible, you can visit a museum or an exhibition with your children, but such activities are more typical for older children. At this age someone can master the control of quadrocopters or other radio-controlled toys.
At the same time, the older the child, the more he can be involved, offering, together with adults, to design or assemble radio-controlled models.
4.And so we smoothly approach adolescence. And this is where things change a bit. We can see young skateboarders, rollers and cycling in the playgrounds and streets.
Yes, yes, I wrote to learn something new on the Internet, because in my opinion our children can learn faster and faster than us. They know where to find information instantly and how to do it right!
In addition, at this age, children can attend circles and sections that work all year round and of course this also requires their activity and time. The main thing is that the child chooses for himself what he wants to do and what he likes, and not to realize the desires and fads of his parents.
In addition, at this age, I believe it is already possible to send children to summer camp. It could be a new world for them!
Generally speaking, in my opinion, when organizing entertainment for children, it is important to approach individually and take into account the interests of the child. There is no need to try to reduce everything to generally accepted standards, because our children are very individual, and what is interesting for one may not be suitable for another at all. In addition, always remember to take precautions, especially for outdoor activities and games near the water.
Here I have listed only some of the activities. In fact, there can be an incredible number of them. Here I relied only on my own experience. I hope those games that I have listed will be able to help someone and come in handy!
