We all know that September is the month for kids to resume back to school after the long holiday. Something I liked about this holiday was the fact that they made provision for the kids to attend summer coaching. It was a time that allowed the children to learn about the new class they were going into.
I know in my own country every September we know that the kids go into a new class and so we prepare a lot more for this particular month than any other school month.

After the summer class, they had an extra two weeks which enabled the kids to rest for a while, even though they don't have much that they do.
Before they resumed I had a lot of things that I needed to get for my kids, which would also enable them to sustain for the school period, my son of five had gotten his school bag spoilt the previous them, and this was because his bag had wheels and so his classmates were always sitting on the bag to play with it, at times when. I go pick him up from school I see them riding the bag, which made the school bag get spoilt, I added a new school bag and lunch to the list of things I needed to get for him, and for his sister, I had only decided to get her a lunch bag because she has a school bag and which I did, though it wasn't easy to save up this money because I also had to take care of my school needs which I have been pending for a while, well I was able to achieve the buying just one week before they resumed back to school.

Also, I had to get them new sets of undies because it was going to be a new session and it wouldn't be nice for them to have old things, because I kind of noticed some of their underwear was nothing to write about. After all, they had been under the care of their grandparent and we know grandparents and children they pamper them too much, I guess that's why my daughter even after being back home always said she wanted to go back to her grandparent's place and to think she is just two years old to understand such.
Two weeks ago school resumed but my daughter wasn't able to attend school because she had chickenpox I noticed it the previous night before the start of school, she had to stay home and her brother was the only one who went to school for the past two weeks, and whenever I prepare him for school, his sister always ends up crying about wanting to go with him.
It was a kind of experience I never thought I would have to go through because I had taken preventive measures on her when her brother had it, but I guess it didn't work well. She was in pain for about a week and now we are just left with the scars that are yet to cover up which I know will take some time.
So far it has been a great resumption week, at first I wasn't able to get my son his books because there. were something that needed to be fixed, but thank God I was able to pay for that, His dad was able to come up with the money needed for his books and also his sister's books, and that I have paid into their school account.
It was not easy with the early morning routine again but I had to meet up with it because I didn't want what happened the previous term to repeat itself, so I changed my wake-up time to 4 am instead of 6 am because I noticed that the timing was always not favourable.
So far the beginning of term has been exciting, thrilling, and in all another opportunity to be self-disciplined. And also my daughter will be resuming on Tuesdays since the pox has cleared from her body.
I was planning on getting new school uniforms for my son, but I will have to end that till after I and his father are done with the payment of their school fee, the school had sent a letter on how they increased the the school fee, and we understand that the economy isn't friendly even for anyone, so we just had to comply with them.
My son has been doing well for this two weeks since they resumed, I always made sure he finished his breakfast on time, he understands what it means to be late, and when he comes back home he knows where he keeps his bags well and also does his assignment, which ever one he doesn't remember I do well to teach him again until he gets it.
In all, it has been a wonderful
School week.
