Hoy 8 de marzo quiero felicitar a todas las mujeres en su día, mujer guerrera que siempre lucha y jamás se rinde.
I am a single mother, there is only my son and me, my son is 5 years old with an autism condition, the day to day life of being a mother is not easy, taking him to school, picking him up, his therapies, and at home the routine of washing clothes, cleaning the apartment that gets dirty every day, making breakfast, lunch and dinner, playing with my son and giving him quality time is a long daily task.
Yo soy madre soltera, solo estamos mi hijo y yo, mi hijo tiene 5 años con una condición de autismo, el día a día de ser madre no es fácil, el llevarlo al colegio, buscarlo, sus terapias, y en la casa la rutina de lavar la ropa, limpiar el apartamento que todos los días se ensucia, hacer desayuno almuerzo y cena, el jugar con mi hijo y darle tiempo de calidad es una larga tarea diaria.
During all this I also work, I am a secretary for a beautician Dr., this job helps me a lot, it is a fixed income that I have, and my boss is a love and always understands me and I only work 3 days a week, half a day.
Durante todo esto también trabajo, soy secretaria de una Dra. esteticista, este trabajo me ayuda muchísimo, es una entrada fija de dinero que tengo, y mi jefa es un amor y siempre me comprende y solo trabajo 3 días a la semana, medio día.
I have a small business and 2 years since I started in this world of baking, I love making cakes and especially the theme of decoration, which also dedicated time and takes me a lot of time when I have orders.
Tengo un pequeño emprendimiento ya 2 años de que empecé en este mundo de la repostería, me encanta hacer tortas y sobre todo el tema de decoración, a la cual también le dedicó tiempo y me quita mucho tiempo cuando tengo pedidos.
I get asked a lot: how do you do it, don't you get tired, do you do everything by yourself?
My day starts very early, my son studies from 7 am to 2:30 in the afternoon, I don't work every day, only Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and the orders are scheduled in advance so I can organize myself. First I stop very early to make breakfast and snack for my son, I take him to school, his departure time is in the afternoon, this gives me time to do other things, if I have to work, I leave work and spend it looking for him, and if I have orders for cakes, I start a day before making the cake and when I arrive in the afternoon I decorate and deliver, always when I get an order first I reach an agreement with my customers about the day, date and time of delivery.
Me preguntan mucho: ¿cómo haces? ¿No te cansas? ¿Haces todo sola?
Mi día empieza desde muy temprano, Mi hijo estudia de 7 am a 2:30 de la tarde, no trabajo todos los días, solo martes, miércoles y viernes, y los pedidos son agendados con anticipación para así poder organizarme. Lo primero me paro muy tempranito hacer desayuno y la merienda de mi hijo, lo llevo a su colegio, su hora de salida es en la tarde, esto me da el tiempo para hacer otras cosas, si me toca trabajar, salgo del trabajo y lo paso buscando, y si tengo pedidos de tortas, empiezo un día antes hacer el bizcocho y cuando llego en la tarde decoro y entrego, siempre cuando me realizan un pedido primero llego un acuerdo con mis clientes sobre el día la fecha y la hora de entrega.
I also have my days off and I take advantage of them to dedicate myself to rest, get ready or do some errands that I have pending. It's all a matter of desire, making sacrifices and above all organization.
También tengo mis días libres y ahí aprovecho para dedicarme a mí a descansar, arreglarme o hacer alguna diligencia que tenga pendiente. Todo es cuestión de tener ganas, hacer sacrificios y sobre todo organización.
It is not easy at all, but as a woman, as a mother, I can always do everything for our children because I do everything for their well-being and to be able to help them every day.
No es para nada fácil, pero uno como mujer, madre siempre puede por nuestros hijos porque todo lo hago para su bienestar y poder ayudarlo todos los días.
In conclusion, women are warriors, we can handle every situation that comes our way, we will always have our good days, our bad days. In this hive platform I want to talk about my experience so I can help many women who are going through a situation like mine, we are not alone.
