Being a father isn't just about providing for the family.
It's about being present, taking responsibility, and showing your kids what it means to be cared for and loved.
I've got two amazing boys, Aiden and Ryzen.
And these two love food. HAHA.
Well, as a kid, I think it was normal.
So feeding them will make your day run more smoothly.
Whenever my wife is busy or has to step out, it's my job to take over.
It's tiring but the best kind of chaos.
Aiden and Ryzen have different ways to get entertained.
Aiden is full of energy.
He loves being outside, pointing out the carabaos, and laughing at his excitement.
While Ryzen was instantly entertained by LEGO.
Just hand it to him, and no supervision is required.
There's also a special kind of joy whenever I get Aiden to sleep.
He used to fall asleep after breastfeeding, so getting him to sleep without it is a challenge.
But sometimes, my tricks work.
Like rocking him gently, and humming a soft tune.
At first, he fussed but patience and persistence paid off.
After a while, he got relaxed and there was silence.
When he drifts off to sleep without breastfeeding, it is pure satisfaction.
Being a father means being there for them, setting an example, and making memories along the way.
It's about balance.
Showing them how to enjoy life, how to play, how to handle challenges, and how to feel safe.
And honestly, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
So to all dads, I hope you also show up, connect, and share your time with your kids.
At the end of the day, your effort will be all worth it!
