When I saw the awesome LooLoo introduced to us by in her post two weeks ago, a few thoughts went through my mind.
How is it possible that in the #TheLooLoo community, there are so few posts about places that each of us go to multiple times a day?
To places where some of us stay for a very short time, and someone is able to fall asleep in that place or browse the Internet for hours, especially if he goes to the toilet with a phone on which the battery is charged, or maybe someone reads or writes on Hive? π
Maybe people are ashamed to write about these places or simply, they don't find inspiration?
Think about it, the next time you use the toilet, you might think of something related to LooLoo, about the history, culture or architecture of the toilet in the country where you live, the decor of the tiles and the shape of the installed elements, and maybe someone will be interested in your choice of paper or towel holders, soap dish and mirror π
My second thought, while looking at the decorated walls of that London toilet, was related to the cleanliness and the restaurant I frequent.
And I visit it just because of the toilet and its cleanliness.
Because when a restaurant invests a lot in the quality, neatness and cleanliness of the toilets, I believe that they will pay the same or more attention to the quality, ingredients and taste of the dishes they prepare.
This restaurant, not so small, is in my neighborhood and it's really great.
A fountain at the entrance, a hostess who accepts jackets, clean, snow-white tablecloths, a beautifully decorated environment, perfect food and the same toilet.
Perfect.
Every time I'm a guest in this restaurant, I have to go to the toilet, even when I've wiped my hands with wet wipes and I don't really need the toilet.
I always go to see if the owner of the restaurant has made some changes, installed some new figurines, and maybe he hasn't allowed the level of hygiene in his LooLoo to drop.
As I'm going to show pictures of the toilet, I can't post pictures of the food, but it's perfectly OK to post a picture of the table we were sitting on, along with a pin on #worldmappin, so that anyone who is a guest in Belgrade or maybe doesn't know this part of the city can find this restaurant π
My recommendation,, just be careful when ordering food, the portions are incredibly large and can be shared.
I went to the men's toilet several times, and so that I could show the one behind the door with a female face in this post, I recruited my partner to go to the toilet together and she would take a picture of the inside of the female toilet for me (it would be a shame if I did it and one of the restaurant guests came into the toilet).
I go down the granite stairs from the first floor to the basement. On the right side, next to the fence, you can hear the gurgling of water. An interesting fountain, similar to the one at the entrance.
On the stairs going down to the toilet door, there is a large mirror and a decorative corner table on which is placed a glass bowl with details of the sea.
Several figurines watch you silently while you decide which way to go based on the pictures on the door.
Behind the picture of a man on the glass is the Men's Toilet, with dark tiles and small figures standing as decoration.
I didn't photograph the area with the toilet bowl, I didn't see anything interesting in it.
Unlike the hand washing area.
In the sinks, a decoration in the shape of a lotus flower, on the shelf under the mirror, shells.
Clean white urinals and scent freshener, another figurine, soap and hand cream, automatic towel holder...
It's like I'm not in the toilet.
Enthusiastic about cleanliness again, I go out and wait for my partner.
When she came out of the women's room, she couldn't hide her delight. From the pictures she transferred from her phone, her description and reaction, I could tell how much she liked the toilet.
In the women's toilet, in front of the mirror there is a large armchair for ladies who decide to fix their make-up.
There are vases with flowers, some decorations and figurines.
Of course, the women's toilet is also perfect.
Clean, perfumed, supplemented with soaps and creams...
Just as a high-end toilet of a high-end restaurant should look like.
