Here's another round of toilets from UK, bought to you by your's truly 
Waffle dessert
On a nice sunny Sunday afternoon I went to a waffle place for some dessert before I headed up to Brandon Hill in Bristol city center. It's nice to see these type of dessert places popping up in UK now, makes a nice change to the normal cake shops. The waffle was very nice but I wasn't too impressed with the floor. It felt very sticky when I walked around, including when I walked into the loo. I almost thought they didn't clean the syrup off the floor properly!
The other odd thing I found about the toilet is an extra door. The brown door to the right of the toilet is the door entering the toilet, then there's another white door directly opposite the toilet.
It was locked, and as I was peeing, I almost felt someone would open the door and walk through any time. It didn't feel very safe peeing, if you know what I mean!!!
Cabot Circus shopping mall
In my Bristol city center post above, I mentioned Cabot Tower was named after an Italian navigator called John Cabot. There's another place in Bristol that's named after him - Cabot Circus, this is the main shopping mall in the city center. I did a spot of shopping whilst I was in town and of course had to drop by the loo to check it out. It was very nice with wooden panels, and I particularly liked the big flush buttons (is that what they're called?). They're a lot more hygienic than those dainty little push buttons, and it doubles up as one of those funny mirrors in the amusement park. What's not to like about them?
Clarks Village Outlet
More shopping during my trip to south west. This time to the Clarks Village Outlet. Are you familiar with the shoe brand Clarks? It's UK shoe brand that hails from a village called Street near Glastonbury. It's still headquartered at Street but sadly last year it got gobbled up by the Chinese again. Another one of our heritage gems lost.
Clarks still has a small factory at Street nowadays, and its previous factory site is now a shopping outlet. The outlet toilets are standard, not much to shout about.
Family dinner
One of the main purpose of my trip to the south west was to go home to see my family. I haven't seen them for nearly four months, and the family as a whole haven't met up since our first lockdown in March 2020. I had arranged a big family dinner with everyone. There was supposed to be 22 of us (yes I have a big family) but we ended with 15 only. My brother and his family couldn't make it as my sister in law was due to start her chemotherapy the next day. My whole family have been blessed to make it through Covid unscathed but unfortunately, my sister in law was diagnosed with breast cancer recently.
Anyway, our rendevous was at a restaurant in a local country club and our party were given the terrace room. It was a lovely setting.
As were the toilets. They were very sleek and stylish. I love the white tile walls and the mosaic floor tiles

A double wash basin is something that I would love to have at home along with automatic sensor taps. The whole setup is just so stylish.
And finally, they've added a few pictures opposite the washbasin that blends in perfectly well with the whole decor. This could easily pass off as a toilet in a posh home, I might steal this decor for mine when I win the lottery....
