Some time ago, I returned to my hometown to meet my parents. My hometown is located in Pidie Jaya, a district on the north coast of Aceh. During the three days I was there, I spent some time exploring the forest around the village in search of some objects that I could capture. I found several kinds of mushrooms, including oyster mushrooms that grew wild.
Among the types of mushrooms that can be consumed, mushrooms in the genus Pleurotus or commonly called oyster mushrooms are the most consumed. Oyster mushrooms are widely cultivated and circulating in the market, favored because they are soft and delicious.
When I found this mushroom, by chance I saw leeches crawling among the mushrooms. But I hesitated when I saw there was an antenna because leeches don't have antennae. I can tell it's the snail popping out of its shell. I just found out that snails loved oyster mushrooms. Some mushrooms that were torn or perforated, I assumed they had been eaten by snails.
Still on the same dead tree trunk, I also saw rows of Trametes genus mushrooms in small sizes. The surface is white with reddish streaks.
Well, that's the story of my adventure with mushrooms this week. I would really appreciate it if any of the mushroom lovers corrected the description of the mushrooms above.
