There is gonna be 53 #fungifriday's in 2021. Are you all ready for all of them? I am :)
And I will start with one of my favourite and most photogenic mushrooms I found around here.
Coprinus lagopus
So pretty, so delicate and so short lived. They will only last a few hours and then will start to slowly melt turning to a black mush.
When they are young and the hat is not full open they look like an elongated egg on a skinny leg. The hat will then slowly open, flatten up and sometimes curl up like the one I have here.
The top part is covered in a very delicate white fur. Mainly visible on the close up photos. But wat I like more about it, is the bottom part. The gills are not very big like on other mushrooms and they are almost black on the edges. When the hat flips it looks like they are decorated with very delicate frilly skirt.
What's not to love here :)

I hope many of you will join as there are only 2 simple rules:
- when Friday comes post your own, original photo/drawing/art/food/anything-at-all of any type of fungi (yes, I will check and report stolen images!)
- add #FungiFriday tag (it doesn't have to be your first tag)
That's all :)
