Yesterday I found a small mushroom in the bark of an avocado tree, so tiny that it was hard to focus on it with my phone camera. I was struck by the fact that in its upper part it had a kind of black hair, as you can see in the pictures.
I tried to search what kind of mushroom it was and found similar ones by the name of Hexagonia hydnoides, however, I am not entirely sure, it has happened to me before that the Google lens has been wrong in the results it shows me. I would love to know if this time the information is true.
This avocado tree looks like it will give a good harvest this year as the owners counted 12 avocados forming, they told me that they have been watering the tree frequently to see if they can get all the fruit to grow well. Maybe this constant watering is giving the conditions for this little mushroom to develop on the bark as well.

Ayer encontré una pequeña seta en la corteza de un aguacate, tan diminuta que era difícil enfocarla con la cámara de mi teléfono. Me llamó la atención que en su parte superior tenía una especie de pelo negro, como podéis ver en las fotos.
Intenté buscar qué tipo de seta era y encontré otras similares con el nombre de Hexagonia hydnoides, sin embargo, no estoy del todo seguro, ya me ha pasado otras veces que la lente de Google se ha equivocado en los resultados que me muestra. Me encantaría saber si esta vez la información es cierta.
Este árbol de aguacate parece que va a dar una buena cosecha este año ya que los dueños contaron 12 aguacates formándose, me dijeron que han estado regando el árbol frecuentemente para ver si consiguen que todos los frutos crezcan bien. Tal vez este riego constante esté dando las condiciones para que este pequeño hongo se desarrolle también en la corteza.
