Hello everyone!
I don't know much about mushrooms, and I'm not a mushroom picker like some of my friends.
I only know porcini, chanterelles and parasol mushrooms. Because they are edible and very tasty, we cook them from time to time. If someone brings them to us. Or from the grocery store.
This year, we got a lot of them. All the mushroom pickers say there are a lot of them this year. The only time we have had as many as this year in our forests and meadows was in 1986 when the Chornobyl accident happened when the nuclear reactor exploded and radiation spread across Europe.
Now I don't want to be paranoid or a conspiracy theorist :) 🤣 because I don't know anything about any radioactive emissions here, and that's not exactly the purpose of this post.
Anyway, a couple of days ago I looked out of the window at home and there were some mushrooms in the grass.
Well, when I looked yesterday, there was a whole bunch of them.

Well, I've searched the internet for similar pictures and the most similar ones are here and here.
Now I wonder if these are really the same mushrooms.
Today is the third day I have watched them and more and more are coming. I suppose it's because the mornings are very humid and foggy, but then it's pleasantly warm all day, around 18 degrees Celsius.
Oh, in case anyone thought I was going to eat them :) 😁
No, definitely not, I only eat the ones I mentioned above. I'm just curious, I know they grow very fast in humid conditions but now for the first time I've seen in person (because they grow almost under my window) that one of them can grow into a whole cluster in a couple of days.
