Here is a mushroom composition for this #fungifriday by
Sadly it has been too dry and windy here for any of my favorite mushrooms to grow. So I had to look into the archives to make a composition of mushrooms I would like to see start growing.
Here are some of the fractal elements and the drawing that made up the composition. The drawing was made by my fiance, she loves doodling mythical creatures in her sketchbook. The other image is a snowy tree I took one winter and the fractals were generated in jwildfire.
Here is the photo I used to cut out the morels from the composition. These were found exactly one year ago, sadly this year may be without morels since it didn't rain enough around here.
Here is an old Amanita muscaria I found in the fall, one of the few red ones I've ever found around here, just a little baby.
Here is an old bolete I found when it rained heavily in late summer. I have not idea on which bolete this was but it had yellow pores and stained blue almost instantly.
The last mushroom is Scutellinia scutellata aka eyelash cup fungi. These are pretty common around here after a heavy summer rain.
I took a look at the weather forecast and there is no rain for many days so I might have to resort to virtual mushroom posts for a while. Happy #fungifriday
