Here is a batch of old crown tipped coral. Sadly it is way too old to harvest.
This is one of my favorite edible mushrooms but you have to harvest it when it is still semitranslucent and tender. At this age it is too bitter and rubbery.
Right next to the crown tipped coral some really tiny little mushrooms were growing. These were maybe about 4mm wide in their cap and the stems were hair thin. I suspect these used to be larger but have dried out a bit.
Here are some tiny mock oysters. On the left you can see a bunch of old wolf's milk slime mold nodules.
Here is what the underside of the mock oysters look like. Technically these are edible but they have a bad smell to them so no one eats them.
Here are some fresh polypores starting out under some moss. I'm not sure what they are yet at this young age. Most likely they are artist conchs.
Here are a few ink cap style mushrooms. They are a bit strange as they are growing out of wood. They kind of look like mica caps but more yellow in color.
