Do you ever feel like you've been under a lot of stress recently?
Have you considered simply abandoning everything and driving away from or away from reality? You're not alone, though.
For the past week, I've been dealing with stress from a variety of aspects, not just at work. I've felt like I needed a break from it all at times. It's simply too much with what's going on at work and in my health.
With that said, I tried to hold on and just do things to keep myself occupied. I began to do things that I had previously stopped doing. One of them is a blog post I wrote recently about going out with friends on a Friday night. I stopped doing all of the nightlife in 2018 and was content to stay inside away from the noise and loud music.
After becoming introverted for a year, I began going out again the following year, but only with my closest friends.
Recently, I've been going out after work, either walking around the mall or eating out with friends, and it's helped me to relax my mind.
Two of my friends have recently encouraged me to rediscover my love of reading. We went to the mall and found a store called Book Sale. I bought three books and began reading them. When I finish the books, I will undoubtedly write a review about them.
I even started painting by numbers. I was thrilled and excited to do this, and it helped me relax and be happy at the same time; I even brought it to work with me. After hearing numerous irritated customers complain about their package, it is the best outlet.
Now, I will continue to do things that will help me deal with the stress I've been dealing with, but stress is building up because there are some schedule changes, and sadly, I was on the night shift, which I was not good at. I still have the option of getting a morning shift, but I need to figure it out right away.
I'm inspired to write this blog in order to assist others in finding an outlet when dealing with stress. Stress is not something we should ignore. It will consume us if we choose to ignore it. Fortunately, writing can also help us express ourselves.
What about you, hivers? What do you do when you're stressed or overworked?
Please feel free to add your thoughts.
That's all for today, hivers; I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Remember to have fun and enjoy the rest of your week and stay out of trouble as much as possible.
