* yawn* Oh, hello there.. how are you doing this fine Friday morning? * yawn*
With just 4 minutes of deep sleep, I don't really feel like I have slept at all. Why, you'd ask, well, it would turn out that the mosquito meditation is still quite topical for some reason.
The key is in not spending time, but in investing it. – Stephen R. Covey.
Needless to say I still fail miserably at reconciling and integrating the concept of a mosquito into the understanding of wholeness.
So by 03:34, I went like - F this shit, this ain't sleeping anyways and got up.
Most of us would be happy if we never saw, heard, or felt a mosquito’s presence again. However, these creatures serve as a spiritual symbol, just like the rest of the animal kingdom. Mosquitoes surprisingly symbolize quite a few values that should be paid attention to.
These include secrets, details, agitation, discovery, persistence, surveillance, and release, to name just a few.

Alright, I guess I see how some of that might apply..
The mosquito meaning puts it in very simple and easily interpretable terms: you are draining your energy (or are having your energy drained) in a way that is neither healthy nor productive for you.
Welp..
On the other hand the feminine archetype of a mother that'd do anything to ensure the future of her family is also generationally quite a familiar pattern.
Definitely quite a lot to ponder here, so I guess my work with mosquito energy is just beginning.
