Great article Whitney. I learned many years ago from either Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, or See You At The Top by Zig Ziglar (I forget now the original source) that Step 1 is to make a list of the tasks to be completed. Step 2 is to complete the 'worst' one on the list immediately.
This approach gives a true sense of self-belief and Mastery. It also ensures the rest of your day will always get better as your remaining tasks are always easier and less important to achieve.
