Greetings!
Previously, in episode two, Sabine was severely injured by Shin Hati when she finally wielded the lightsaber that was given to her by Ezra. Also in episode two, Sabine refuses to take ownership of the lightsaber but Huyang the droid assistant Ahsoka Tano insists that she (Sabine) has made some modifications to the lightsaber therefore she now owns the lightsaber.
Also, in episode two, it is clear that Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren still have some degree of animosity between them. Sabine Wren looks like a prodigal apprentice while Ahsoka Tano is a self-contained master who doesn't want to force anyone to bend on her will. But at the end of episode two, the former master and apprentice finally became master and apprentice once again when Ahsoka Tano called Sabine Wren a Padawan.
In this episode, I find out how disgusting the politics of the republic are, senators think that they know everything even though they didn't personally see what has been done during the war. And it seems to me that some of the senators are short-sighted that they will only act when they actually see what is happening instead of doing something to prevent it in the first place.
Of course, the main narrative of this episode is about the allies of Grand Admiral Thrawn trying to find him at any cost. The narrative of this episode shows how cultist followers of Grand Admiral Thrawn follow him blindly even though he was known to kill his own allies for his personal gain. Another narrative of this episode is the introduction of a hyperspace ring that could travel between galaxies and also how the master and apprentice Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren escaped their death multiple times. Also, the surprise of the episode is the introduction of a star whale called Purrgil.
This episode gives a lot of information for the viewers. The introduction of the hyperspace ring which is capable of intergalactic space jumps is very much a testament to how Star Wars franchise's ability to wow the audiences. And who would have thought that in the Star Wars universe exists intergalactic whales called Purrgil.
Who would have thought that an intergalactic space whale is a thing in the Star Wars universe?
I like how this episode shows the character of Ahsoka Tano as a master to her apprentice, Ahsoka Tano. Also, I like how this episode shows the short-tempered manner of Sabine Wren when it comes to her training as a padawan. I also like how this episode shows the skills of Sabine Wren when it comes to her training.
This episode showing how disgusting politics will become is a welcome to a fan like me because it perfectly shows how real-life politics are done all over the world. I also like how this episode shows the resolve of Hera. The current general of the republic. When it comes to the droid Yuyang, hell, he is a very lovable droid that seems to be a do-it-all machine and very intelligent too. But since Yuyang is a droid he always not munching on words that he is saying especially on the capability of Sabine Wren as a Jedi candidate.
I think the star of this episode is the hyperspace ring being built by Morgan Elsbeth which is part of her mission to find Grand Admiral Thrawn so that he may lead the empire once again. The hyperspace ring is capable of a hyperspace jump from one galaxy to another given that the navigator knows the coordinates. The hyperspace ring being built by Morgan Elsbeth is currently in orbit of planet Seatos in the Denab System. It is interestingly where the star whale named Purrgil can be found.
Logically, Morgan Elsbeth chose to build the hyperspace ring in the orbit of planet Seatos because of the star whales which have the ability to travel on a path called hyperspace lanes. So, you guessed it right, Morgan Elsbeth will follow the path on her way to finding Grand Admiral Thrawn and unite the empire once again.
This episode never failed me to be amazed, especially at the battles of spaceships between them and the pursuing fleet of Shin Hati. The pursuit is happening while Sabine Wren is trying to avoid the Purrgils. As always, the battle scenes are amazing which is very typical of the Star Wars franchise.
In showing the capability of Ahsoka Tano as a Jedi the episode gave us a peek at how good she is. She was able to distract the squadron of Shin Hati and was able to destroy one enemy fighter with her lightsaber.
All in all this episode is amazing as with the first two. This episode successfully showed how skilled Ahsoka Tano is. And if want to see how the politics of the new republic this is also for you. And, again, if you want to know the cultist's mindset of pro-imperials this is also for you. It has all the elements of a typical Star Wars franchise. It got some suspense when the ship Ahsoka Tano was hit by the turbo lasers of Morgan Elsbeth's hyperspace ring.
What the viewers don't realize in this episode is that the crew of Ahsoka Tano is hunting down Morgan Elsbeth and at the same time they are also the hunted because they are following the very people who also want to kill them so that no one will be a hindrance on their mission to find Grand Admiral Thrawn. I am going to end this blog by saying "This is an amazing episode".
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
