𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔯𝔦𝔱𝔲𝔞𝔩 (ℌ𝔬𝔯𝔯𝔬𝔯 𝔪𝔬𝔳𝔦𝔢) - ℜ𝔢𝔳𝔦𝔢𝔴
A trip among friends, a faraway place full of abundant nature and sects scattered around the place Sounds like a good vacation plan, doesn't it? Well, this is the premise of the movie I will share with you today, where a group of friends, after the horrible death of one of them, decides to honor his memory by taking a trip to the Nordic country of Sweden.
Everything goes relatively well until they decide to take a shortcut to reach their destination. What they did not know is that in that shortcut where the landscape is adorned by trees and seemingly innocent flora, hides a terrible presence that will begin to hunt them.
If you like movies about dark cults mixed with Nordic mythology, let me tell you that this is your review.
Un viaje entre amigos, un lugar lejano repleto de abundante naturaleza y sectas desperdigadas por el lugar ¿Suena a buen plan vacacional, no? Bueno, de esta premisa parte la película que les compartiré el día de la fecha donde un grupo de amigos, luego de la muerte horrible de uno de ellos, decide hacer honor a su memoria realizando un viaje al país nórdico de Suecia.
Todo va relativamente bien hasta que deciden tomar un atajo para llegar a destino. Lo que no sabían es que en ese atajo donde el paisaje es adornado por arboles y flora aparentemente inocente, se esconde una terrible presencia que comenzara a cazarlos.
Si te gustan las películas sobre cultos oscuros mezclado con mitología nórdica , déjame decirte que esta es tu review.
The movie has an original touch by incorporating Norse mythology in its plot. I won't give you too many details so as not to spoil anything but believe me, that made it all the more terrifying and desperate. Being chased by an unknown force that wants to annihilate you in a horrible way is even more desperate if you are lost with no apparent trace of civilization around you and the little that there is, does not give you security because you can tell that whoever is there, is not on good steps. I liked how the fear of our protagonists increases progressively when they realize that something is stalking them from the gloom of that Nordic forest.
Although it has original touches, it's not 100% original since it's nothing that hasn't been seen before regarding satanic cults, so to speak. What it does do is elevate the genre to another level due to the different touch that was given to it, where what is being worshipped is frightening,
not the most powerful forces in existence, but it does give you a few good scares.
The film shows us how a bad decision to make things easier, can lead you to lose your life in a bestially stormy way. The desperation, the panic, the not knowing what to expect in the next scene makes it quite dynamic and not boring at all. Its strong point is the cult that dwells in that gloomy forest. It is direct, to the point but very well acted and directed.
La película tiene un toque original al incorporar mitología nórdica en su trama. No te daré muchos detalles para no spoilear nada pero créanme, que eso la hizo mas aterradora y desesperante. Ser perseguido por una fuerza desconocida que quiere aniquilarte de una forma horrible es desesperante mas aun, si estas perdido sin aparente rastro de civilización a tu alrededor y el poco que hay, no te da seguridad porque a leguas se nota que quien este allí, no anda en buenos pasos. Me gusto como el miedo de nuestros protagonistas aumenta progresivamente cuando se dan cuenta que algo lo esta acechando desde la penumbra de aquel bosque nórdico.
Si bien, tiene tintes originales no es 100% así ya que no es nada que no se haya visto antes con respecto a cultos satánicos por así decirlo. Lo que si, eleva el género a otro nivel debido a ese toque diferente que se le dió en donde lo que se venera , es temible, no de las mas poderosas fuerzas que existan pero si que te saca unos buenos sustos.
La película nos muestra como una mala decisión a la hora de querer hacer las cosas mas fáciles, puede llevarte a perder la vida de una forma bestialmente tormentosa. La desesperación, el pánico, el no saber que esperar en la siguiente escena la hace bastante dinámica y nada aburrida. Su punto fuerte es el culto que mora en aquel lúgubre bosque . Es directa, va a al grano pero esta muy bien interpretada y dirigida.
The actors are excellent with distinct and different personalities. That gives more strength and feeling to the plot something that not many horror movies have that are completely devoid of emotion and are just guts flying. The guilt of one of them for the unexpected death of one of them, the hatred of the others who keep silent about their true thoughts, the pity, the uncertainty for the chosen path that seemed to divide them and then become united again to survive, it's beautiful. A solid friendship, not perfect, but that proved in the end, to be loyal in the bad times, and boy, are they bad! Running away from a cult that wants to kill you must be desperate and I could feel the same as them because I usually go to places like that to hike.
Lessons from the movie:
- Don't take unknown shortcuts.
- If I'm lost and I see symbols everywhere or disemboweled animals , run back the way I came. Follow my survival instinct.
P.S. If one day I don't come back from one of my trips, I was a victim of a cult or I joined them ha,ha,ha,ha.

Los actores son excelentes con personalidades marcadas y diferentes. Eso le da mas fuerza y sentimiento a la trama cosa que no muchas películas de terror tienen que son completamente carentes de emoción y son solo tripas volando. La culpa de uno de ellos por la muerte inesperada de uno de ellos, el odio de los demás que callan sus verdaderos pensamientos, la lástima, la incertidumbre por el camino elegido que parecía dividirlos para luego pasar a estar unidos nuevamente para lograr sobrevivir, es bellísimo. Una amistad sólida, no perfecta, pero que demostró al final, ser leal en las malas y ¡vaya que malas estas! Huir de una secta que quiere matarte debe ser desesperante y pude sentir lo mismo que ellos porque yo suelo ir a lugares como esos a hacer caminatas.
Enseñanzas de la película:
- No tomar atajos desconocidos.
- Si estoy perdida y veo símbolos o animales destripados por todos lados, huir por donde vine. Seguir mi instinto de supervivencia.
Pdta: Si un día no vuelvo de uno de mis viajes, fui victima de un culto o me uni a ellos ja,ja,ja.
