Everybody deserves somebody, even the evilest of villains.
I'm no saint; I know that. My father never taught me it, but there are some truths you simply can't ignore. And one of them is that loneliness is a silent cry for love.
The title of the movie is The VALET. It's a story about a man who is separated from his wife but somehow manages to stay positive even when people tell him that his wife is not coming back to him. He just smiles and shuts them up by saying "we are not divorced l, we just separated". This man by the name Anthonio works as a Valet, he has a son who is aspiring to become an actor, a mother who is old but also freaky when no one is watching. He also has a sister who is married with two children.
He lives with his mother and son in whoat could be called a community home or building. And despite all his kind nature and hard work he is still very poor.
His life gets a little swung around when he is caught in between a love triangle which was about to cause problems for the movie Olivia Allan. He is then offered a large sum of money by Vincent Royce to act as Olivia's boyfriend so that his wife would give up on the idea that he and Olivia are having an affair.
Anthonio agrees because he thought the money would help him bring his wife faster to him. And so it began, Anthonio's rise to fame.
The overall idea of this movie is the effect of loneliness on people while still focusing on what money can buy and also what it cannot buy.
Anthonio is a Valet, which means he doesn't make much money but he still is always happy. Whenever he is with his wife and his son or even his friends, all his worries fade away.
While Olivia is a celebrity with all the money but still has zero love, no family, and no friends. And because of this, she desperately clings to Vincent who whispers sweet nothings about breaking up with his wife for her, and every other lie a guy has ever told you.
And in the end, money still couldn't buy happiness, money couldn't buy love but money created a chance for love and happiness to come in.
The movie is directed by Richard Wong and produced by Eugenio Derbez and Ben Odeli. It's a romantic comedy movie that has a lot of scenes that are sure to make you laugh. The soundtrack used in the movie helped a long way in making sure that the line of communication between the movie and the viewer isn't broken. The acting was superb, especially Eugenio Derbez whose performance was amazing. With every action he takes I get a weird visualization of a Mr. Bean. And for me, he is the best character in this movie even.
Finally, the movie the Valet is a Romantic comedy that I would recommend to people interested in love, happiness, and happily ever after.
And if you're just planning to tune in... watch a movie and relax...I'd recommend this.
