¡Hola, gente de internet! Es cierto que las emociones son una parte compleja de los humanos y que nosotros mismos estamos en constante auto-descubrimiento, sin embargo, hay una película de Disney Pixar que retrata de forma divertida y simple, el funcionamientos de ésta dentro la mente. Se trata de Intensa-mente, una de mis películas preferidas y de la cual hoy les haré una Review.
Hello internet people! It's true that emotions are a complex part of humans and that we ourselves are in constant self-discovery, however, there is a Disney Pixar movie that portrays in a fun and simple way, the workings of this within the mind, it's about of Inside out, one of my favorite films and of which today I will make a Review.
La historia se desarrolla dentro de la mente de Riley, una niña de 11 años que sufre una crisis emocional cuando su familia se muda a San Francisco. Los cambios radicales (cambio de casa, escuela, amigos, equipo de Hockey, vecinos...) y el excesivo trabajo de su padre, hacen que Riley empiece a sentirse mal, sin embargo, mientras Alegría (la emoción predominante de Riley) se encarga de todo, la niña se mantiene estable.
The story takes place inside the mind of Riley, an 11-year-old girl who suffers an emotional crisis when her family moves to San Francisco. The radical changes (change of house, school, friends, hockey team, neighbors...) and the excessive work of her father, make Riley start to feel bad, however, while Joy (Riley's predominant emotion) takes care of everything, the girl remains stable.
Sin embargo, tras un accidente provocado por tristeza, ella y Alegría, son expulsadas de la sala de control a la que pertenecen. Sin acceder al panel de control, Alegría no puede mantener a Riley feliz, por lo que la niña se ve afectada por la falta de su emoción predominante, y su personalidad y acciones van en declive.
However, after an accident caused by sadness, she and Joy are expelled from the control room to which they belong. Without accessing the control panel, Joy cannot keep Riley happy, so the girl is affected by the lack of her predominant emotion and her personality and actions are on the decline.
Análisis a nivel Psicológico/Analysis at the Psychological level
La idea de la película le surgió al director al contemplar los cambios de humor en su propia hija, entonces, quiso retratar ese hecho en una película animada, para ilustrar la psiquis humana de una forma divertida.
The idea for the film came to the director when he contemplated the mood swings in his own daughter, so he wanted to portray that fact in an animated film, to illustrate the human psyche in a fun way.
A lo largo de la película, vemos representados las diferentes partes de la mente como por ejemplo: La memoria a largo plazo, el sótano de las pesadillas, la estación central, etc.
Throughout the film, we see represented the different parts of the mind such as: long-term memory, the basement of nightmares, the central station, etc.
Te parecerá curioso saber que, estos lugares existen realmente, así pues, La Estación Central o el Panel de Control, son el equivalente al sistema límbico que es un conjunto te estructuras cerebrales que responden a diversos estímulos de las emociones como alegría, tristeza, enojo o temor.
It will seem curious to know that these places really exist, so The central station or the control panel is the equivalent of the limbic system, which is a set of brain structures that respond to various emotional stimuli such as joy, sadness, anger or fear.
El panel de control que utilizan las emociones de Riley para expresarse, es una forma sencilla y divertida de explicar como funcionan nuestras emociones.
The control panel that Riley's emotions use to express themselves, is a simple and fun way to explain how our emotions work.
En nuestro cerebro, los recuerdos son almacenados en el Hipocampo, y se dividen en memoria a corto y largo plazo. A la primera pertenecen los recuerdos con poca importancia y a la segunda los que son más relevantes y preciados.
In our brain, memories are stored in the Hippocampus and are divided into short-term and long-term memory. Remembrance of little importance belong to the first and those that are most relevant and precious to the second.
En la película los vemos todos en estanterías dentro de una esfera cada uno, y solo cuando se gastan demasiado, son borrados por completo.
In the film we see them all on shelves within a sphere each and only when they are spent too much are they completely erased.
Y así, hay mucho paralelismos dentro de la película. Esto es debido a que los creadores contaron con el asesoramiento de diferentes psicólogos, incluso querían tener más de 20 emociones para Riley, pero los psicologos fueron quienes sugirieron las cinco emociones que tiene la niña en la película finalmente, ya que eran las principales que rigen al ser humano y que a demás, funcionaría para no complicarse tanto.
And so there are a lot of parallels within the movie. This is because the creators of the film had the advice of different psychologists, they even wanted to have more than 20 emotions for Riley, but the psychologists were the ones who suggested the five emotions that the girl has in the film finally, since they were the main ones that govern the human being and beside, it would work so as not to get so complicated.
La película me gusta mucho en todo sentido, no solo es divertida y en extremo creativa (como me encantan los trabajos) sino que también deja una enseñanza muy bonita, y es que, durante casi toda la película, vemos a todas las emociones despreciar y discriminar a Tristeza porque la asocian con «algo malo» y no quieren que Riley sea expuesta a ella.
I like the film a lot in every way, it's not only fun and extremely creative (as the way I like movies) but it also leaves a very beautiful lesson. During almost the entire film, we see all emotions despise and discriminate Sadness because they associate her with "something bad" and that they do not want Riley to be exposed to her.
Conforme avanza la historia, tanto Alegría como los espectadores, notamos que Tristeza es más importante de lo que parece dentro de Riley, ya que, por más que Alegría se esfuerza por alegrar a Bing Bong cuando éste está triste por perder su cohete, no lo logra, y es tristeza quien después de una melancólica charla, logra que Bing Bong se desahogue y pueda sentirme mejor para continuar el viaje.
As the story progresses, both, Joy and the viewers, we notice that Sadness is more important than it seems within Riley, since, as much as Joy tries to cheer Bing Bong when he is sad about losing his rocket, she didn't make it and it's sadness who after a melancholic talk, makes Bing Bong vent and feel better to continue the journey.
Así pues, cuando logran ingresar de nuevo a la estación central, es Tristeza quien logra hacer reaccionar a Riley a través de la melancolía, y es quien compone la mente de la niña.
Thus, when they manage to enter the central station again, it's Sadness who manages to make Riley react through melancholy, and se is who makes up the girl's mind.
Partiendo de eso, aprendemos que (además de que no es bueno discriminar) la tristeza no es algo malo como generalmente se cree, es necesaria y es parte de nuestra empatía, de nuestra parte sensible.
Starting from that, we learn that (in addition to the fact that it's not good to discriminate) sadness is not a bad thing as we generally believe, it's necessary and it's part of our empathy, of our sensitive part.
Siento que es una excelente película para retratar el comportamiento humano y los diferentes estados de ánimos que podemos tener o desarrollar.
I feel that it's an excellent film to portray human behavior and the different states of mind that we can have or develop.
