TO SEE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FLYING THROUGH THE SKIES IS MIND-BLOWING, BUT IT WOULD BE A DREAM TO SEE ALL THAT MONEY FALL INTO MY HANDS.

A movie of the year 2019 with a band of actors that the truth gives a first impression that it will be a very interesting movie, something curious that happened to me with this movie is that last night I was about to see an action movie that would keep me entertained and for some reason I had in mind that I had already seen it.

I went on a mission to see it to confirm if I had already seen it or not and I ended up discovering that I haven't seen it at all, that was great, since the Synopsis really caught my attention and I couldn't pass it up.

Una película del año 2019 con una banda de actores que la verdad dan una primera impresión de que será una película muy interesante, algo curioso que me sucedió con esta película es que en la noche de ayer me disponía a ver una película de acción que me mantuviera entretenido y por alguna razón tenía en mente que ya la había visto.

Me lance la misión de verla para confirmar si ya la había visto o no y termine descubriendo que para nada la he visto eso fue genial, ya que realmente me llamo mucha la atención la Sinopsis y no podía dejarla pasar.

Action and suspense are key in any movie under the shadow of one of the most popular genres within the film culture and we always bet on this type of movies to get the perfect excuse to enjoy without fear of what we can see, since what matters is to see chases, shootings and lots and lots of action in these movies.

But for those who watch my videos or read my publications already know beforehand that I am a very demanding viewer and I always expect to see something that makes sense or at least that deceives me as it should, without leaving loose ends that end up taking me away from a movie and that usually happens when I see something without first checking what it is, In this opportunity I was almost sure that I would find something great and how not to be if it has the participation of two of my favorite actors, Ben Affleck and Oscar Isaac that seeing them together in action seemed something interesting.

🇪🇸 La acción y suspenso son claves en cualquier película bajo la sombra de unos de los géneros más populares dentro de la cultura del cine y siempre apostamos por este tipo de películas para conseguir la excusa perfecta para disfrutar sin miedo a lo que podamos ver, ya que lo que importa es ver persecuciones, disparos y mucha pero mucha acción en estas películas.

Pero para los que ven mis videos o leen mis publicaciones ya saben de ante mano que soy un espectador muy exigente y siempre espero ver algo que tenga sentido o por lo menos que me engañe como se debe, sin dejar cabos sueltos que me terminen alejando de alguna película y eso suele pasar cuando veo algo sin antes revisar de que se trata, en esta oportunidad venía casi en la seguridad de que toparía con algo genial y como no estarlo si cuenta con la participacion de dos de mis actores favoritos, Ben Affleck y Oscar Isaac que verlos junto en acción parecía algo interesante.

I want to clarify that I liked the movie in its 70% and that's great from my point of view, but I feel that it could have been much better, since it had an interesting story that could have been taken further and without making those cuts or changing situations that only hurt it and it felt like they wanted to get out of it as fast as possible.

As in every action movie there are special forces, we meet a group of veterans who have not seen action for some time and want to relive those moments of glory, they find the opportunity of their lives in a mission where the jackpot will change their lives, but first they have to know that if they step on the ground the pain will also be intense.

🇪🇸 Quiero aclarar que la película en su 70% me gusto y eso es genial desde mi punto de Vista, pero siento que pudo haber sido mucho mejor, ya que contaba con una historia interesante y que pudo ser llevada más allá y sin hacer esos cortes o cambios de situaciones que solo la perjudicaron y se sintió como que si querían salir de ello lo más rápido posible.

¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA PELÍCULA?

¡TE LO CUENTO RÁPIDO Y SIN SPOILERS, POR SI AúN NO LA HAS VISTO!

Como en toda película de acción no pueden faltar las fuerzas especiales, nos encontramos con un grupo de veteranos que desde hace un tiempo no han visto acción y que desean revivir esos momentos de gloria, se encuentran con la oportunidad de sus vidas en una misión donde el premio gordo cambiara sus vidas pero antes tienen que saber que si pisan fuerte el dolor también será intenso.

It all starts when Santiago played by (Oscar Isaac) is on an operation in a Latin American town and discovers that one of the biggest Narco-traffickers in the area is hiding millions of dollars in his house and that he can go get them in a secret mission.

He travels back to North America where he meets with old friends to whom he proposes the mission of their lives and that will be rewarded in a big way, as the mission is divided into two parts and can win from the start with just one step, the mission has two parts do adjective recognition and give the blow. This gave veterans the option to only complete 50% of the mission and earn some money.

But things get more interesting when Tom Davis played by (Ben Affleck) and part of the group realize that they can execute the mission which aims to take down the leader of the drug trafficking organization and take a large amount of money.

Everything seems to be like going for a walk in the park, they enter the house, put the plan into execution and come across a fortune that clouds their minds and can jeopardize the mission, they have to act quickly, as the drug trafficking group is about to run into these special forces and start a war in enemy territory. Lots of action and scenes full of bullets and lots of blood make the movie interesting to watch and enjoy without much to think about.

🇪🇸 Todo da inicio cuando Santiago interpretado por (Oscar Isaac) se encuentra en un operativo en uno pueblo de latino América y descubre que uno de los Narcotraficantes más grandes de la zona esconde en su casa millones de dólares y que puede ir por ellos en una misión secreta.

Viaja de vuelta a América del norte donde se reúne con viejos amigos a los cuales le propone la misión de sus vidas y que serán recompensados a lo grande, ya que la misión se divide en dos partes y podrán ganar desde el inicio con tan solo dar un paso, dicha misión cuenta con dos partes hacer reconocimiento del obetivo y dar el golpe. Lo cual le daba la opción a los veteranos de solo realizar el 50% de la misión y ganar algo de dinero.

Pero las cosas se ponen más interesantes cuando Tom Davis interpretado por (Ben Affleck) y parte del grupo se dan cuenta de que pueden ejecutar la misión que tiene como objetivo acabar con el líder de la organización narcotraficante y llevarse una gran cantidad de dinero.

Todo parece ser como ir de paseo al parque entran a la casa ponen en ejecución el plan y se topan con una fortuna que nubla sus mentes y puede poner en riesgo la misión, tienen que actuar rápidamente, ya que el grupo de narcotraficantes esta por toparse con estas fuerzas especiales e iniciar una guerra en territorio enemigo. Mucha acción y escenas llenas de balas y mucha sangre hacen de la película algo interesante de ver y disfrutar sin mucho en que pensar.

After all the action they must escape, but they have to cross 3 borders with over 100 million dollars which makes the mission almost impossible to execute, but the simple fact of leaving so much money on the road makes no sense to these war veterans who will do anything to accomplish the mission of their lives.

IS GOOD, BUT NOT THAT GOOD

The film presents a lot of action at the beginning and that hooks you at first, but it does not last as long as it would have liked and that ended up placing it in a position that leaves much to be desired, it is easy to create situations where the protagonists have to do everything to get out of trouble and perhaps along the way some of them lose their lives, but there will always be a way out of that situation.

Which does not happen in this film, as they focus so much on leaving everything in the first 45 minutes, that the rest of the film only serves to travel with them in a sea of emotions that ends up dulling some of the emotion that we are presented at the beginning.

🇪🇸 Después de toda la acción deben escapar, pero tienen que atravesar 3 fronteras con más de 100 millones de dólares lo cual hace de la misión algo casi imposible de ejecutar, pero el simple hecho de dejar tanto dinero en el camino no tiene sentido para estos veteranos de guerra que harán hasta lo imposible por cumplir la misión de sus vidas.

ES BUENA, PERO NO TANTO

La película presenta de inicio mucha acción y eso te engancha a la primera, pero no dura el tiempo que se hubiera querido y eso la termino colocando en una posición que deja mucho que desear, es fácil crear situaciones donde los protagonistas tengan que hacer de todo para salir de problemas y quizás en el camino alguno de ellos pierda la vida, pero siempre habrá una forma de salir de esa situación.

Lo cual no ocurre en esta película, ya que se enfocan tanto en dejarlo todo en los primeros 45 minutos, que el resto de la película solo sirve para viajar con ellos en un mar de emociones que termina por apagar un poco esa emoción que nos presentan al inicio.

It shows us amazing natural scenery filled with lots of vegetation that introduces us to the adventure and that is certainly appreciated, but the fact of making the story so compact ends up leaving a bad taste in our mouth and that feeling of feeling that it is good, but it could have been much better. The action genre by nature needs to keep the viewer interested in the plot, but more than that it is necessary to see situations where the pace is accelerated to go hand in hand with what the film is expected to present us from start to finish.

To say that it is a bad movie would be foolish, but it cannot be hidden that it lost a lot of strength when they wanted to show the best parts in a single block and then there was a lot of space that was filled with some action scenes that the truth does not generate more attention than expected.

UPHILL AND DOWNHILL

I will emphasize this, since the main plot does not give much to cut and I must openly express that a movie when it encounters this situation can fall into a pit where it will not easily get out, no matter how many actors it has and how interesting the story can be.

The action is fast paced with small pauses so that the viewer can rest and connect with the story, this serves a lot, since only seeing action can saturate the viewer and bore him before time, playing with the rhythm of emotions is crucial in any film and I am not an expert or the one who has the last word, but from my humble perspective I lost interest in the film from the half and that's terrible, because you always want to get to the end with the same emotion you got at the beginning.

🇪🇸 Nos muestra escenarios naturales alucinantes llenos de mucha vegetación que nos introduce en esa aventura y que sin duda alguna se agradece, pero el hecho de hacer tan compacta la historia nos termina dejando un mal sabor de boca y esa sensación de sentir que es buena, pero pudo ser mucho mejor. El género de acción necesita por naturaleza mantener al espectador interesado en la trama, pero más que en eso es necesario ver situaciones donde el ritmo sea acelerado para poder ir de la mano con lo que se espera que la película nos presente de inicio a final.

Decir que es una mala película sería una tontería, pero no se puede ocultar que perdió mucha fuerza cuando quisieron mostrar las mejores partes en un solo bloque y luego quedo mucho espacio que fue rellenado con algunas escenas de acción que la verdad no genera mayor atención de la esperada.

DE SUBIDA Y DE BAJADA

Haré hincapié en esto, ya que la trama principal no da mucha tela que cortar y debo expresar abiertamente que una película cuando se topa con esta situación puede caer en un pozo donde no lograra salir fácilmente, sin importar los actores que tenga y lo interesante que pueda ser la historia.

La acción es de ritmo acelerado con pequeñas pausas para que el espectador pueda descansar y conectar con la historia, esto sirve de mucho, ya que solo ver acción pueda saturar al espectador y aburrirlo antes de tiempo, jugar con ese ritmo de emociones es crucial en cualquier película y no soy un experto ni el que tenga la última palabra, pero desde mi humilde perspectiva yo perdí interés por la película desde la mitad y eso es terrible, ya que uno siempre desea llegar hasta el final con la misma emoción que obtuvo al principio.

At the beginning of the film you will encounter a slow pace and it is perfect, as they try to introduce each character little by little and that you understand the reasons why they accept the mission and what it means for each of them this last adventure, then we see halfway through the film as we are given moments of great tension and you hope with great desire that nothing goes wrong and that the main characters get out of trouble as soon as possible and that no one is left on the road.

In the third part of the film we are shown that path of emotions where we can see the consequences of the mission and that if you hit it is possible that you get hit back, but with a slower pace and that can generate both rejection and interest in the viewer, it all depends on how much or little you like the plot that we are presented.

🇪🇸 Al inicio de la película te toparás con un ritmo lento y es perfecto, ya que intentan introducir de a poco cada personaje y que entiendas las razones por lo cual aceptan la misión y lo que significa para cada uno esta última aventura, luego vemos a la mitad de la película como nos regalan momentos de mucha tensión y esperas con muchas ganas que nada salga mal y que los personajes principales salgan de aprietos lo más pronto y que ninguno se quede en el camino.

Ya la tercera parte de la película nos muestran ese sendero de emociones donde podemos ver las consecuencias de la misión y que si golpeas es posible que te regresen el golpe, pero con un ritmo más pausado y que puede generar tanto rechazo como interés en el espectador, todo dependerá de lo mucho o poco que te guste la trama que nos presentan.

THE GOOD AND THE BAD

THE GOOD

• Natural scenery, full of life that can catch you and immerse you in the adventure, a very clean photography, neutral background music, but that complements each situation presented in the film.

• The performances are good, convincing and very passionate and it was to be expected with a team of protagonists that have a lot of experience within this field.

• The action scenes are very good, complete and direct which keeps you expectant to what may happen, the time of the film is the necessary and allows the story to develop calmly, with regard to the characters.

THE BAD

• Poor distribution in the pace of the movie, this may seem exaggerated, but if you have seen the movie you can't deny that it leaves you wanting more and that is bound to happen.

• The timing although perfect to introduce the characters, it is not perfect to give more importance to the story and to know the part of the villains that apparently were only a small obstacle for the protagonists.

• An unexpected drop in the scenes or moments of action that totaling a total time does not exceed 35 minutes and that divided it into two parts that from my point of view does not favor the film, being one of the most anticipated in that year, by the range of actors who gave life to it.

Obviously this is a very personal opinion and perhaps many will not agree with this point of view, but the truth is that when a film does not catch me enough I tend to be very intense at the time of raising an opinion about the film, but well we all have very different just and that's the magic of this community, I liked it but not so much.

🇪🇸 LO BUENO Y LO MALO

LO BUENO

• Escenarios naturales, llenos de vida que te pueden atrapar y sumergir en la aventura, una fotografía muy limpia, música de fondo neutra, pero que complementa cada situación presentada en el film.

• Las actuaciones son buenas, convincentes y muy apasionadas y era de esperarse con un equipo de protagonistas que tienen mucha experiencia dentro de este campo.

• Las escenas de acción son muy buenas, completas y directas lo que te mantiene expectante a lo que pueda suceder, el tiempo de la película es el necesario y permite que la historia se desarrolle con calma, con lo que se refiere a los personajes.

LO MALO

• Mala distribución en el ritmo de la película, esto puede parecer exagerado, pero si has visto la película no puedes negar que te deja con ganas de más y eso es seguro que ocurra.

• El tiempo aunque es perfecto para presentar a los personajes, no lo es para darle más importancia a la historia y conocer la parte de los villanos que aparentemente solo fueron un pequeño obstáculo para los protagonistas.

• Una bajada inesperada en las escenas o momentos de acción que sumando un tiempo total no supera los 35 minutos y que lo dividieron en dos partes que desde mi punto de vista no favorecen a la película, tratándose de una de las más esperadas en ese año, por la gama de actores que le daban vida.

Obviamente es una opinión muy personal y quizás muchos no estén de acuerdo con este punto de vista, pero la verdad es que cuando una película no me atrapa lo suficiente suelo ser muy intenso en el momento de plantear una opinión sobre dicha película, pero bueno todos tenemos gustos muy diferentes y eso es lo mágico de esta comunidad, me gusto pero no tanto.
