Hello wanderful people, it's been a while I made a post in this community but I'm so excited to have the chance and opportunity to be back and trust me I came with a beautiful movie to share with you guys.
I've been following the MOUNT ZION film production industry for a while and I guess they so much understand film production, as a matter of fact I became one of their big fan and I'm also learning new things about film production from their movies, so their movies are not just religious but also entertaining, educative and meaningful.
Just of recent a movie was released titled THE WEDDING WEEKEND, it was released on Sunday which was the 9th of July 2023, I was so eager to download the movie that I kept checking right from that Sunday morning, the movie was actually what made my day interesting, I really enjoyed the movie so well but at last I arrived at the end of the movie so I had to say goodbye because I don't really like repeating movies except if I need an information from it.
My favorite featured Actor.
Damilola Mike Bamiloye has always been one of my favorites actors, I love the fact that most times his is featured as funny casts which totally suits him, he is an interesting actor who knows exactly how to give the right impression for every scene.
One thing I love about good actors though I'm not a good actor, it's their ability to figure out the right impression for every scene, they don't need to be controlled by the director before they understand it, they just read through the script and get the impression needed.
Let me give you a summary about the movie
The wedding weekend is about a couple in relationship about to be married and of course Damilola Mike Bamiloye is the guy that was to get married, his plans was to have a coded wedding that means a quiet wedding with only family members and few friends, at the beginning of the movie I was supportive of his idea because most people tend to kill themselves just on wedding preparation forgetting that the main thing is the marriage so I was in support of his idea until I reached the middle of the movie, though if were to judge I won't judge him base on his past because his present is better than his past, I know you're lost by now, let me take you back.
What really happened to him while he was younger.
Before I tell you what happened to him in his past, his fiancee was not fully in support of the coded wedding so she kept kept complaining until he allowed her to bring fifty of her friends.
His name in the movie was Marvin and he was a child of a pastor, you know what people say about pastor's children, they are the bad ones, just to correct that mindset anybody who wants to become a bad person would become a bad person regardless of who's chill he is, but in the case of Marvin he was actually a bad guy dating another pastor's doughtier, he eventually got her pregnant and denied the pregnancy, with this his father was asked to stop preaching at the church he pastored, this was like a ruin to his father's career of being a pastor, this made his father ver mad at him, he chased Marvin out of the house because Marvin reported him to the police for maltreating him, oh I forgot to tell you they lived in the united state.
This was when Marvin reported his father to the police for beating him up
Marvin became a radical bad boy chasing women, drinking and smoking, this was why wanted to have a coded wedding because he was trying to run from his past.
Yes he had a bad past, but he later gave his life to Christ and became born again which means he has no past, his past his dead, this was what he failed to understand but thank God at the end he understood it.
After all, everything was solved and the wedding was held.
Leasons to learn
Most times we try to unite ourselves with the past, we must understand that the past is in the past, we have the present and the future to take care of.
