I feel proud of our Colombian production of films and serials with my last viewing on Netflix, an action serial, a serial based on real facts mixed with some fiction, a serial with a cast where the best of our cinema appears and where the reality of our country comes out without fear, that seal is ours, our cinema tells a reality that is not liked but should not be hidden.
Estoy sacando pecho por nuestra producción colombiana de películas y seriados con mi última visualización en Netflix, un seriado de acción, un seriado basado en hechos reales mezclados con algo de ficción, un seriado con un reparto donde aparece lo mejorcito de nuestro cine y donde la realidad de nuestro país sale a relucir sin miedo, ese sello es nuestro, nuestro cine cuenta una realidad que no gusta pero no por ello debe esconderse.
Wild District may turn out to be one of the few serials in the catalogue of the production company, perhaps there is not a good promotion team behind the Netflix brand that promotes other titles of poor quality and keeps silent in this type of high quality productions with great performances, the cast is headed by the papasito Juan Pablo Raba who plays and even co-produces the story, His character is that of a famous guerrilla who is kidnapped as a child and after several decades in the guerrillas gives himself up, because of his military knowledge is used by the Colombian security forces to be reintegrated with conditions, political corruption and crime is fought by Colombia and our protagonist will be a key piece.
Distrito Salvaje puede resultar un seriado del montón en el catálogo de la productora, quizás no haya un buen equipo de promoción tras la marca Netflix que promociona otros títulos de escasa calidad y guarda silencio en este tipo de producciones de gran calidad y con grandes interpretaciones, el reparto lo encabeza el papasito de Juan Pablo Raba que interpreta y hasta cooproduce la historia, su personaje es el de un famoso guerrillero al que secuestran de niño y que tras varias décadas en la guerrilla se entrega, a causa de su conocimiento militar es utilizado por las fuerzas de seguridad colombianas para ser reinsertado con condiciones, la corrupción política y la delincuencia es combatida por Colombia y nuestro protagonista será pieza clave.
Cristina Umaña is another key piece of this series, this beautiful actress plays the fiscal who goes after corruption in Colombia, accepts the inclusion of the protagonist as a government infiltrator among the corrupt starting with his team of killers where another great of our cinema despite not being Colombian plays the executing hand of corruption, Christian Tappan is Apache, Other great protagonists are the police inspector played by Camila Soli who, because of her past, hates what everything around the protagonist means but with whom she is forced to work, and her boss, the police colonel played by Julio Pachón, who we have already been able to follow in many other Colombian serials. Cristina Umaña es otra pieza clave de este seriado, esta preciosa actriz interpreta a la fiscal que anda tras la corrupción en Colombia, acepta la inclusión del protagonista como infiltrado del gobierno entre los corruptos comenzando por su equipo de asesinos donde otro grande de nuestro cine a pesar de no ser colombiano interpreta magistralmente a la mano ejecutora de la corrupción, Christian Tappan es Apache, un asesino con una historia que contar y con el que empatizar, otros grandes protagonistas son la inspectora de policía que interpreta Camila Soli que por su pasado odia lo que significa todo alrededor del protagonista pero con el que se ve obligada a trabajar y su jefe el Coronel de la policía que interpreta Julio Pachón que ya hemos podido seguir en otros muchos seriados colombianos. Los papeles cálidos quedan para la magistral y dulce madre de nuestro protagonista que interpreta Alina Lozano, humilde mujer instalada en el campo colombiano a quien le arrancan a su hijo y que recupera cuando se entrega, ver su actuación me recordaba a mi propia madre y es prueba de su dulzura interpretando el amor de madre a la vez hacía las veces de abuela de la otra victima de la historia, el hijo de Raba que interpreta Nicolas Quiroga cuya madre no llega a conocer y al padre lo conoce con 15 años.
I must say that I have only seen the first part of the series, which has two instalments, but it is convincing and I would recommend watching it, quality acting, pure reality of our Colombia even if we don't like it and a lot of action, it also mixes a Colombia of rejection, of social classes that don't accept others and where even coming out of the wardrobe is complicated, honour and dignity above personal interests, a great work of fiction that you shouldn't miss.
Debo decir que tan sólo he visto la primera parte del seriado que cuenta con dos entregas pero convence y da para aconsejar su visualización, calidad interpretativa, realidad pura de nuestra Colombia aunque no nos guste y mucha acción, además mezcla una Colombia de rechazos, de clases sociales que no aceptan a otras y donde hasta salir del armario se hace complicado, el honor y la dignidad por encima de los intereses personales, una gran obra de ficción que no deben perderse.
I have no news of how the series will continue but I can assure you that the first season ends with many things resolved, so if I can't continue with the second season I will be left with a good taste in my mouth, but I want more and that's why I will continue the plot for quality and conviction.
No tengo noticias de como seguirá el seriado pero si puedo asegurar que la primera temporada termina con muchas cosas resueltas por lo que de no poder continuar con la segunda quedarían con buen sabor de boca, pero quiero más y por eso continuaré la trama por calidad y convencimiento.
