And ("ANIL KAPOOR") is an person who gives the services and helps to get the economy of his country up. As Shantanu was working as a night manager so one day a small girl of almost 14 years came in the hotel and she was just staring at him.And the name of girl was (" SAFINA") And she was a wife of ("FREDDIE REHEMAN") and he was a one of most favorable customer of ("CHIEF"). One day he came at the night and they both were together .And after a day she came to him and ask for help about to go indian from here without visa. But firstly he denied. And when he denied she has taken her phone for help and she recorded a video about when his husband was dealing some weapons with the client of chief. she has recorded the video and gave to him("SHANTANU SENGUPTA "). Now she was asking him for a help and he went to the commissioner of police and he has forwarded to the raw of india. Raw:- where some people work silently on some mission or to get to the illegal things.

Well this video was having with the raw of india and there was a main officer over there where she was working for ('CHIEF') to get to his illegal business. And she has requested ("SHANTANU ") to protect her anyhow. Because she was the main witness of this case and he might get caught by the police. But when ("CHIEF") contact with ("FREDDIE") about it then he has decided to kill his wife. And at that moment ("SHANTANU ") was in the market to bring some food for her. But when he reached ("FREDDIE ") has thrown him from the up of hotel. And he was so much disappointed and he was crying from the inside.
And after that he had quit his job of night manager from that hotel .He was shifted to the hotel in manali. The main chapter starts from here and ("CHIEF ") was coming in that hotel for a holiday vacation. when he meet him as a first time he asked his name and he told him his name and ("CHIEF") says , i have listened this name before and this was the first episode of ("THE NIGHT MANAGER") .
