One of the great classics of history, a movie that reminds us of the beautiful Christmas season starring Jim Carrey, this is an adaptation of the original film written in 1957 by Dr. Zeus, takes us to a magical and wonderful world, in which there is a town called "Villa Who" where the "Who" live, a somewhat curious characters who have a deep love for Christmas and celebrate it every year as the most anticipated date for both children and adults.
However, not everything is rosy, with feasts, gifts, and decorations, in this village there is an individual quite different from the rest which is called "The Grinch ", this person holds a deep grudge against the people of this village and even more for Christmas, that's when he sets out to "Steal " Christmas to all the people of Villa Quien, down from his mountain with his dog Max, Will this sinister green "man" be able to steal the most anticipated date of the year?.
Honestly, I am not a fan of Christmas themed movies, I celebrate it just like everyone else, since there are aspects that I like and aspects that I don't, but speaking in relation to this film, I love it in many aspects, since I grew up watching this incredible title when I was just a child, always on Christmas eve this installment was one of the first I wanted to see since the emotions that it transmits were captured in the film in a very sincere and honest way, showing in reality what these dates are all about.
The main character, also the who and the structures of the buildings created in an abstract way, call a lot of attention to the heart of the children, both the music and the scenery is very well done and match beautifully with what is being narrated. Besides, having the great actor Jim Carrey, who always brings an incredible touch of humor to every film in which he appears, many of these small details make me want to watch it again as an adult and remember my childhood and the excitement I felt when it was time for Christmas.
Music: This particular one seemed very special to me since they have rhythms similar to the original 1957 release, along with unique and nostalgic songs sung by the same characters in chorus and singing, with sweet tonalities according to what they represent.
Abstract: I call abstract to the way in which we can appreciate that both the characters and the scenery are built, all made in spirals, very vivid colors, which is a perfect representation of the date.
Humor: As we well know, this movie is aimed primarily at a child audience, therefore the level of humor in this film is incredible, with superbly hilarious scenes, which will make even adults laugh... Thanks to Jim Carrey we can also enjoy a very "Particular and unique " character.
Although I have already been denoting this throughout my writing, this is an aspect to take into consideration, since we are talking about delivery of 21 years ago and the film industry has evolved a lot since then, however, that does not mean that the scenarios that are here are really brutal and impressive, mountains full of snow, a cavern built-in which an eccentricity saw, pointing directly to a village of light and love with rooms in spirals, spiral staircases and magnificent bridges between the houses.
All these aspects are perfect to make magnificent scenes in a mission as far-fetched as "Stealing Christmas ".
Within this beautiful delivery, you get to feel the intention of the beautiful dates in which we find ourselves, since many people, as exemplified in the film, think that Christmas is only gifts, decorations, food, and clothing, among many other banal things, without remembering that in these dates should be valued other aspects that are not material, such as love, family, friends, make peace and peace rather than a competition to see who gets the best gift.
Therefore, this movie is one of my favorites, as it gives people some awareness of what these dates should really symbolize, nourish the spirit, the soul, calm, all those feelings we have for our loved ones and spend time with them.
Within the script of this film, there are several messages that I came to understand and appreciate over the years since I was growing up until now that I am an adult, as perspectives change and our experiences increase over time, in that sense I realized that within this film there are much deeper messages than you can imagine.
Empathy: The most particular notion that I noticed since I saw it recently, is that this emotion is what they want to transmit directly to us, where they show us that we should value all people no matter how different they are, put ourselves in their place and know that we all have different problems.
Objects: We can also appreciate that not everything in life and in these precise dates is based on the material, decoration, clothes, and gifts, these are transient goods, things that we must have present but are not essential, we can be happy having little or much, it all depends on our attitude.
Love: Although already mentioned at the top, this feeling is the one that overcomes sadness, depression, and nonconformity, the strength of this motivates us to go ahead and continue every day, no matter to whom we express our feelings, it can be to your partner, children, friends and however different it may be, it will always be present.
Frankly speaking, this is the first time I open a section like this, where I will mention special or particular aspects that caught my attention and are things that for their time were unique and frankly very remarkable.
Children: In the plot, children are taken to the door of their homes in cars with umbrellas falling from the sky, something like the story of the stork.
Garbage: I found it both as a child and as an adult, shocking that our main character returned home or to town through the garbage chutes, where he himself says something to the effect of "It makes me sick to see your Christmas garbage every year", which is a reference to pollution due to poor organization when it comes to disposing of this waste.
The truth is I'm not very used to doing this kind of review, since it's not my style or my preferred taste even though I like the movie a lot, it was a little difficult for me to manage to bring you quality content as I always try to do, but I gave my best effort and I hope you like this post about a movie that will bring memories to more than one person. Uno de los grandes clásicos de la historia, una película que nos recuerda a las hermosas fechas decembrinas protagonizada por Jim Carrey, esta es una adaptación de la película original escrita en 1957 por Dr. Zeus, nos lleva a un mundo mágico y maravilloso, en el cual existe un pueblo llamado "Villa Quien" donde habitan los "Quienes", unos personajes un tanto curiosos los cuales tienen un profundo amor por la navidad y la celebran todos los años como la fecha más esperada tanto por niños como adultos.
Sin embargo, no todo es color de rosa, con festines, regalos y decoración, en esta villa existe un individuo bastante diferente al resto el cual es llamado "El Grinch", esta persona guarda un profundo rencor contra los pobladores de esta Villa y más aún por la navidad, es ahí cuando este se dispone a "Robarles" la navidad a todo el pueblo de Villa Quien, bajando de su montaña junto a su perro Max, ¿Sera capaz este siniestro "hombre" verde robar la fecha más esperada del año?
Con sinceridad, no soy fans de peliculas de esta tematica de la navidad, la celebro igual que todas las personas, ya que hay aspectos que me gustan y aspectos que no, pero hablando en relación a este film, me encanta en muchos aspectos, ya que crecí viendo este increíble título cuando era apenas una niña, siempre en las vísperas de navidad esta entrega era de las primeras que deseaba ver, ya que las emociones que transmite fueron plasmadas en la película de forma muy sincera y honesta, mostrando en realidad de que tratan estas fechas.
El personaje principal, también los quienes y las estructuras de los edificios creadas de forma abstracta, llaman mucho la atención del corazón de los niños, tanto la música como la escenografía está muy bien hecha y concuerdan de forma muy hermosa con lo que se está narrando. Ademas que, teniendo al gran actor Jim Carrey, este siempre le aporta un toque de humor increíble a cada film en el que aparece, muchos de estos pequeños detalles hacen que ya siendo adulto desee verla nuevamente y recordar mi niñez y esa emoción que sentía cuando llegaba la época de decembrina.
Música: Este particular me pareció muy especial, ya que tienen ritmos similares a la entrega original de 1957, junto a canciones únicas y nostálgicas cantadas por los mismos personajes en coro y canto, con dulces tonalidades acorde a lo que representan.
Abstracto: Llamo abstracto a la forma en la que podemos apreciar que están construidos tanto los personajes como la escenografía, todo hecho en espirales, colores muy vivos, lo que es una perfecta representación de la fecha.
Humor: Como bien sabemos, esta película está dirigida principalmente a un público infantil, por ende el nivel de humor dentro de esta película es increíble, con escenas magníficamente hilarantes, las cuales harán reír hasta los adultos... Gracias a Jim Carrey podemos disfrutar también de un personaje muy "Particular y unico".
Si bien, ya he venido denotando esto a lo largo de toda mi redacción, este es un aspecto a tener en consideración, ya que estamos hablando de una entrega de hace 21 años y la industria del cine ha evolucionado mucho desde entonces, sin embargo, eso no quita que los escenarios que están aquí sean realmente brutales e impresionantes, montañas llenas de nieve, una caverna construida en la cual se aprecia una excentricidad nunca vista, apuntando directamente a una villa de luz y amor con habitaciones en espirales, escaleras de caracol y puentes magníficos entre las casas.
Todos estos aspectos son perfectos para hacer escenas magnificas en una misión tan descabellada como "Robarse la Navidad"
Dentro de esta bella entrega, se llega a sentir la intención de las fechas tan hermosas en la cual nos encontramos, ya que muchas personas, como se ejemplifica en la película, piensan que la navidad es solo regalos, decoración, comida y ropa, entre muchas otras cosas banales, sin recordar que en estas fechas se deberían valorar otro tipo de aspectos que no son los materiales, como lo son el amor, la familia, los amigos, hacer la paz y las paces más que una competencia por ver quien recibe el mejor regalo.
Por ende, esta película es de mis favoritas, ya que entrega a las personas algo de conciencia de lo que en realidad deberían simbolizar estas fechas, alimentar el espíritu, el alma, la calma, todos esos sentimientos que tenemos por nuestros allegados y pasar tiempo con ellos.
Dentro de él guion de esta película hay varios mensajes que llegué a entender y apreciar con el pasar de los años desde que fui creciendo hasta ahora que soy adulta, ya que las perspectivas cambian y nuestras vivencias aumentan con el tiempo, en tal sentido me di cuenta que dentro de este film hay mensajes muchos más profundos de los que se pueden imaginar.
Empatía: La noción más particular que note, ya que la vi recientemente, es que esta emoción es la que nos desean transmitir directamente, donde nos muestran que debemos valorar a todas las personas por muy diferentes que sean, ponernos en su lugar y saber que todos tenemos distintos problemas.
Objetos: También podemos apreciar que no todo en la vida y en estas precisas fechas se basa en lo material, la decoración, la ropa y regalos, estos son bienes pasajeros, cosas que debemos tener presentes pero no son imprescindibles, podemos ser felices teniendo poco o mucho, todo depende de nuestra actitud.
Amor: Aunque ya lo mencione en la parte superior, este sentimiento es el que se sobrepone por encima de la tristeza, depresión e inconformidad, la fuerza de este nos motiva a ir adelante y seguir cada día, no importa a quien le expresemos nuestros sentimientos, puede ser a tu pareja, hijos, amigos y por muy distinto que sea, siempre estará presente.
Hablando francamente es primera vez que abro un apartado como este, donde mencionare aspectos especiales o particulares que llamaron mucho mi atención y son cosas que para su tiempo eran únicas y francamente muy notables.
Niños: En la trama, los niños son llevados hasta la puerta de sus casas en coches con paraguas cayendo del cielo, algo así como la historia de la cigüeña.
Basura: Me pareció tanto de niño como de adulto, impactante que nuestro personaje principal volviera a casa o al pueblo mediante los conductos de basura, donde el mismo dice algo referente a "Me da asco ver su basura de navidad cada año", lo cual es una referencia a la contaminación por la mala organización a la hora de desechar estos residuos.
La verdad no estoy muy acostumbrada a hacer este tipo de reseñas, ya que no es mi estilo ni mis gustos preferenciales a pesar de que me gusta mucho la película, se me hizo un poco difícil desenvolverme para traerles un contenido de calidad como siempre intento hacerlo, pero di mi mejor esfuerzo y espero que les guste este post sobre una película que le traerá recuerdos a más de una persona. !Muchas gracias.
