Hace poco vi una película, que al comenzar pensé que iba a ser la típico terror creado en los setenta y ochenta , del mismo calibre de Halloween o Viernes trece, pero resultó ser una cinta que me dejó impactada por su estética, y su surrealismo, así que para que la entiende mejor los voy a poner en el contexto.

I recently saw a movie, that at the beginning I thought it was going to be the typical horror created in the seventies and eighties, of the same caliber of Halloween or Friday the thirteenth, but it turned out to be a tape that left me shocked by its aesthetics, and its surrealism, so to understand it better I will put it in context.
Imagina que eres un bailarín/a profesional que decide ir a el extranjero a una escuela prestigiosa de Danza, desde llegaste a el aeropuerto el ambiente es diferente, cuando llegaste en la noche en la entrada de la academia notaste que había una chica parada gritando, no la escuchaste mucho, sólo algunas palabras como “Secreto” “Lirios” , al final no pudiste entrar esa noche a la academia porque te habían rechazado en la puerta, y cuando ibas en el carro para encontrar un hotel, veías a esa misma chica rubia correr en el bosque, todo realmente era muy extraño, al otro día entras a la academia y te enteras que esa chica murió de la peor forma posible, pero desde que entraste no paraban de suceder cosas inimaginables, sangrientas y terroríficas
Suspiria (1977) es una película es dirigida por Dario Angento, y protagonizada Jessica Harper (en la cinta se llama Suzy Bannion) En la película se destaca la figura femenina como una figura de poder máximo, es resaltable e imponente, y por otro lado supremamente radical están los hombres, que son más sumisos y poco importante en la cinta.

La Estética de Suspiria
Lo que más me encanta de la cinta es la hermosa fotografía, colores y arquitectura, ya que es, una estética de que de por si me parecería anticlimática y plástica a primera instancia, pero que logra adaptarse tan bien a la película que resulta original: las tonalidades azul y blanco son para crear un contraste del rojo intenso y el verde, que son los más intencionalmente repetidos en la cinta, desde mi perpectiva me parece una película en donde ves escenas violentas pero que terminas diciendo “ que hermosa estética” la sangre que parecía falsa se mezclaba perfectamente con el ambiente en donde estaban, el mismo director llegó a decir que los colores de la cinta quiso que fueran parecidos a los Walt Disney, muy saturados, logrando un efecto de fantasía terrorífica.
Hay un montón de referencias interesantes en la cinta, la que pude notar fue la del expresionismo alemán, y un estética más que interesante que era concretamente em la escena de la Rubia del comienzo de la película (Pat Hingle) que es un duplicado de unas litografías y grabados del famoso artista Alemán M.C. Escher que son basadas en experiencias oníricas del autor.
The Aesthetics of Suspiria.
What I love most about the film is the beautiful photography, colors and architecture, as it is, an aesthetic that in itself would seem anticlimactic and plastic at first glance, but that manages to adapt so well to the film that it is original: the blue and white tones are to create a contrast of intense red and green, which are the most intentionally repeated in the film, from my perspective it seems to me a film where you see violent scenes but you end up saying "what a beautiful aesthetic" the blood that seemed fake blended perfectly with the environment where they were, the director himself said that the colors of the film wanted them to be similar to the Walt Disney, very saturated, achieving an effect of terrifying fantasy.
There are a lot of interesting references in the film, the one I could notice was that of German expressionism, and a more than interesting aesthetic that was specifically in the scene of the Blonde at the beginning of the film (Pat Hingle) which is a duplicate of some lithographs and engravings of the famous German artist M.C. Escher that are based on the author's dreamlike experiences.
Conclusión
Cuando la comencé a ver, no me estaba encantando, para ser una película de terror habían cosas que me parecían muy ambiguas, que eran demasiado convenientes, poco realistas, con excesos de licencias creativas, pero después una persona muy conocida me dijo de que había una teoría que los sucesos parecían muy oníricos , sé que podría ser un spoiler, pero en el momento que escuché eso, la cinta me gustó diez veces más, podría decir que la veas desde tu perspectiva, pero cuando la ves y comienzas a cuestionar la realidad de las cosas que está pasando, pasa de ser algo simple a ser fantástico. ¿todo era real? ¿ella se convencía de que todo era una pesadilla? ¿era una pesadilla?
When I started watching it, I wasn't loving it, for a horror movie there were things that seemed very ambiguous, that were too convenient, unrealistic, with excesses of creative licenses, but then a very well known person told me that there was a theory that the events seemed very dreamlike , I know it might be a spoiler, but the moment I heard that, I liked the film ten times more, I could say watch it from your perspective, but when you watch it and you start to question the reality of the things that are happening, it goes from being something simple to being fantastic. Was it all real, was she convinced that it was all a nightmare, was it a nightmare?
