No other high school can compete 👨‍🏫📚🤣

If you were a fan of my recommendation of the HBO Max comedy series The Righteous Gemstones, then you are sure to love what I'm here to tell you about today. Vice Principals is of the same ilk and even features several of the same cast members such as Danny McBride, Walton Goggins, and Edi Patterson.

Vice Principals came out a few years before The Righteous Gemstones, but it is funny in the same outrageous manner. These characters are over the top hilarious and their mouths are still just as filthy. Anybody who loves this type of humor would be crazy to not watch both shows.

Vice Principals has two seasons and 18 total episodes, but sadly no more is to come in the future. So you better enjoy what is there and not take for granted the fact that this show is a comedic masterpiece.

You may think that since this is set in a high school, things may be toned down. That is far from the case. Just like The Righteous Gemstones did unthinkable things with the church, Vice Principals goes dark with the high school setting. I wish I had teachers and principals this insane when I was forced to endure school.

You have Danny McBride as Neal Gamby and Walton Goggins as Lee Russell. These two are unlikely friends, but somehow get left with no other choice but to team up. Their chemistry is unreal it it makes total sense why they both went on to do The Righteous Gemstones together. Edi Patterson as Ms. Abbott is another familiar face from The Gemstones show, she was one of my favorites and yet again proves that she is fucking hilarious. I have a feeling that a lot of this show is improv, but even if it isn't, the writing is on point. I died laughing so many times at all of the crazy antics going on.

I could explain plot points and dive deeper into the characters, but I don't want to spoil a thing. There are plenty of funny moments, several fantastic characters, interesting plot twists, and most of all lots of dirty words. This shit is too good and I feel like it laid the foundation for what The Righteous Gemstones soon would be a few years after Vice Principals finished up.
