What's up movieholics, I'm back here to tell you about my experience with this series that I have enjoyed a lot and that I didn't think it would be like this, definitely Stalk caught my attention mainly because of the central theme, but at first I thought I wouldn't like it because I usually watch series and movies in English, combined with Spanish subtitles, because it helps me in learning the language, so I almost never watch movies and series in other languages, but it was so good its theme that I was hooked and I didn't care that it was in french.

Que tal movieholics, vuelvo por acá para contarles mi experiencia con esta serie que he disfrutado mucho y que no pense que seria asi, definitivamente Stalk me llamó la atención principalmente por el tema central, pero en un principio pensé que no me gustaría porque suelo ver series y películas en inglés, combinado con subtítulos en español, porque me ayuda en el aprendizaje del idioma, por eso casi nunca veo películas y series en otros idiomas, pero fue tan bueno su tema que me engancho y no me importo que fuera en francés.
Through a social network I got the suggestion about this series, for a moment I was impressed that the algorithm made me this suggestion, I wondered if at some point I did a search for a related topic, or maybe I talked about it, but no matter how much I thought about it I couldn't find the episode. Then as I started watching the series one of the main character's statements helped me understand:

A través de una red social me llegó la sugerencia sobre esta serie, por un momento me impresione que el algoritmo me hiciera está sugerencia, me cuestionaba si en algún momento hice alguna búsqueda de un tema relacionado, o quizás lo hable, pero por más que lo pensaba no encontraba el episodio. Luego al empezar a ver la serie una de las declaraciones del protagonista me ayudó a entender:

Plot
The series begins with a young programming prodigy named Lucas played by Théo Fernandez whose pseudonym in cyberspace is Lux, when he is accepted at the École nationale des sciences de I'formatique or ENSI for its French acronym, who after an initiation rite in the faculty, is the victim of bullying while being recorded, whose video is sent to the entire faculty.
Trama
La serie inicia con un joven prodigio de la programación llamado Lucas interpretado por Théo Fernandez cuyo seudónimo en el ciberespacio es Lux, cuando es aceptado en el École nationale des sciences de I’formatique o ENSI por sus siglas en francés, que luego de un rito de iniciación en dicha facultad, es víctima de bullying mientras es grabado, cuyo video en enviado a toda la facultad.
The perpetrators are the most popular people on campus, a university of technology and prestige that only houses the most intelligent and from prominent families. Lux is a talented young man, with only a few days on campus he demonstrates his skills in one of his first classes, but that feat isn't enough to get the image of how he was taken advantage of out of the minds of more than 700 people, so he sets out to get revenge on his abusers.
Los perpetradores son mas populares del campus, una universidad de tecnología y prestigio que solo alberga a los mas inteligentes y de familias prominentes. Lux es un joven talentoso, solo con unos pocos días en el campus demuestra sus habilidades en una de sus primeras clases, pero esa hazaña no le es suficiente para quitar de la mente de mas de 700 personas la imagen de cómo se aprovecharon de él, por eso se propone vengarse de sus abusadores.
Thanks to what he learned in one of his classes he gets the idea of how to hack the webcam of his main abuser's laptop but he is almost discovered when he notices that the camera's web indicator turns on, that's when he puts into practice what he learned in class and by rewriting the camera's drivers, he manages to turn off the led indicator, now he could go unnoticed and become the stalker of his abusers to get more information about their lives and inflict as much damage as possible, in order to make them pay, which calls for reflection that you never know who you are up against.
Gracias a lo aprendido en una de sus clases obtiene la idea de como hackear la cámara web de la laptop de su principal abusador pero es casi descubierto al este notar que el indicador web de la cámara se enciende, es ahí cuando pone en práctica lo aprendido en clases y al reescribir los controladores de la cámara, logra apagar el indicador led, ahora podría pasar desapercibido convirtiéndose en el stalker de sus abusadores para obtener mas información sobre sus vidas y infringirles el mayor daño posible, con tal de hacerlos pagar, lo cual llama a la reflexión de que uno nunca contra quien se enfrenta.
Trying to measure well what the next step of his revenge will be, he tries not to be impulsive with the personal information he gets from his abusers after hacking them, so he decides to go further and be patient until he finds something of greater relevance that really hurts them, This is how thanks to an application that his perpetrators have developed to sell drugs clandestinely in college, he manages to hack the phones of anyone who installs it, and so little by little he gets deeper into stalking and what at first was a revenge, is now an addiction.
Procurando medir bien cuál será el siguiente paso de su venganza, trata de no ser impulsivo con la información personal que consigue de sus abusadores luego hackearlos, por lo tanto decide ir más allá y tener paciencia hasta encontrar algo de mayor relevancia que en verdad les lastime, es así como gracias a una aplicación que sus perpetradores han desarrollado para vender drogas de forma clandestina en la facultad, logra hackear los teléfonos de todo aquel que la instale, y así poco a poco se adentra más en stalkear y lo que en un principio era una venganza, ahora es un adicción.
Opinion
Thanks to such power of observation he meets Alma played by Carmen Kassovitz, a beautiful young woman, lover of 80's music who gets involved with the group of abusers, she dazzles our protagonist and he can't stop stalking her. Something that upset me a lot was his recklessness after he had all his stalkers in his hands, it was worthless for him so much intelligence to program, being a woman in the middle and his illusion for her he began to make bad decisions, he lost his anonymity and was discovered, causing everyone in the university to place in their devices the stalker's kryptonite, the adhesive tape on their cameras.
Opinion
Gracias a tal poder de observación conoce a Alma interpretada por Carmen kassovitz, una bella joven, amante de la música de los 80 que se ve involucrada con el grupo de abusadores, ella deslumbra a nuestro protagonista y el no puede dejar de stalkearla. Algo que me molestó mucho fue su imprudencia luego que tenía a todos sus acosadores en sus manos, de nada le valió tanta inteligencia para programar, al estar una mujer de por medio y su ilusión por ella empezó a tomar malas decisiones, perdió el anonimato y el stalker fue descubierto, provocando que todos en la universidad colocaran en sus dispositivos la kriptonita del stalker, la cinta adhesiva en sus cámaras.
His youth and love led him to make mistakes that revealed his identity. The first season leaves several messages, in particular the fact of knowing how to control emotions so that they don't affect the talent. Although the ending was somewhat predictable, it was good to enjoy how little by little Lux struggled to make amends and not lose the girl he likes, channeling his emotions better without being impulsive, having to develop plan after plan, until things took the desired course to keep the girl and get his revenge.
Su juventud y el amor le llevaron a cometer errores que revelaron su identidad. La primera temporada deja varios mensajes, en particular rescato el hecho de saber controlar las emociones para que no afecten el talento. Aunque fue un tanto predecible el final, fue bueno disfrutar como de a poco Lux luchó por enmendar errores y no perder a la chica que le gusta, canalizando mejor sus emociones sin ser impulsivo, teniendo de que desarrollar plan tras plan, hasta que las cosas tomaran el rumbo deseado para quedarse con la chica y obtener su venganza.

La primera temporada básicamente transcurre en lograr el amor de la chica que observa en secreto, pero sin dejar de vengarse por el ridículo que sufrió. La segunda temporada cuando ya las cosas parecen transcurrir a su favor, Lux pasa de ser la persona quien stalkea a ser a quien stalkean, un nuevo hacker con grandes habilidades llega al campus y lo deja al descubierto, lo cual resulta fatal para cualquier stalker, perder el anonimato.
I could say that the series has several messages that are well adapted to our times, the first thing that stands out is the importance of being very careful and responsible with the use of technology, not to leave personal information on our devices that compromises our finances and lifestyle. The use of the same password for everything is a common and not very responsible practice and the most important teaching, never spying on others will be healthy, respecting the privacy of others is a right.
Podría decir que la serie tiene varios mensajes que bien se adaptan a nuestros tiempos, lo primero que resalta es la importancia de tener mucho cuidado y responsabilidad con el uso de la tecnología, no dejar información personal en nuestros dispositivos que comprometa nuestras finanzas y estilo de vida. El uso de la misma contraseña para todo es una práctica común y poco responsable y la enseñanza mas importante, jamas espiar a los demas sera saludable, respetar la privacidad de otros es un derecho.

De esto existe todo un tema y debate en el mundo, las grandes empresas de tecnología son los mas grandes stalker que existen en el mundo, que se valen de tu información personal y de tus patrones de comportamiento para influir incluso en tu toma de decisiones. Con la serie se puede aprender que la vulnerabilidad de la información dependerá del cuidado que tengamos al colocarla en nuestros dispositivos que se conectan a internet.
