New movie releases keep coming across various platforms, and we can enjoy a wide variety of films across different genres—some are perfect for all ages and full of meaningful messages, while others leave us feeling uneasy. That’s why APEX was recently released, combining both elements: the film takes a bold approach by creating a survival story where a human being faces off against a creature, which might seem a bit nonsensical at first glance. Nevertheless, the film has made a huge impact.

Los estrenos de película en las distintas plataformas siguen llegando y podemos ver una amplía variedad de ellas de distintos géneros y son perfectas para todas las edades cargas de mensajes y otras terminan dejando una sensación incómoda. Por eso hace poco se estrenó APEX que combina ambos elementos, donde el directo apostó en crear un juego de supervivencia donde un ser humano enfrenta, la cual puede llegar algo sin sentido, sin embargo, la película ha logrado un gran impacto.

This is a production that goes beyond basic action, even though it still features chases, shootouts, falls, and mistakes; it also depicts the harm done to others, which makes the film feel very real—and here we ask ourselves: Is it worth risking your life?

Each scene is meticulously crafted, brimming with color and tension, making the game far more engaging since there’s nowhere to hide. Furthermore, using nature as a game mechanic adds that sense of danger and that special touch needed every second, as a single misstep, a rock, or a simple fall can work against you.

There are very few characters here, since it’s practically a two-player game. However, each one knows how to handle things—they react, run, improvise, and make mistakes, just like people do—even though there are moments where there’s no turning back and all that’s left is to run. In my case, I wouldn’t be prepared for something like that, much less put my life on the line.

Esta es una producción que va más allá de la acción básica, a pesar de que conserva persecuciones, disparos, caída, errores, además refleja el daño a otro, la cual la película puede llegar a sentirse muy real y aquí nos preguntamos ¿Valdrá la peña arriesgar la vida?

Cada una de las escenas están muy bien trabajadas, llenas de color, tensión y así conseguir el juego sea mucho más interesante, ya que no hay dónde esconderse. Además, usar la naturaleza como recurso del juego le da ese peligro y ese toque especial que hace falta durante cada segundo, puesto que un mal movimiento, una roca o una simple caída jugara en contra.

Aquí hay muy pocos personajes, puesto que prácticamente es un juego de dos. Sin embargo, cada uno sabe cómo llevar las cosas reacciona, corren, improvisan y se equivoca, como personas, a pesar de haber momentos donde no hay vuelta atrás y solo queda correr. La cual en mi caso no estaría preparado para algo como eso y muchos menos poner en juego mi vida.

I really liked the film APEX—it dares to break the mold. It has a dense plot that builds tension and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It’s one of those movies that will probably go out of style quickly, but it leaves you with the feeling that someone is watching or stalking you in real life.

Me gusto mucho el resultado de la película APEX, ya que apuesta en salir de lo normal, es una trama densa que logra generar tensión y mantenerte atento durante cada segundo. Es una de esas películas que seguro pasará de moda rápida, pero te dejará esa sensación de que seguramente alguien te está observando o persiguiendo en tu vida.
