¡Gente bonita! Hoy quiero hablar de un momento particular que dos series mostraban tanto que me llamó la atención y poco a poco lo he querido y he vuelto realidad. Quiero hacer mención a las series: Game of Thrones y Vikings y su particulares momentos donde beben “vino” jajaja ¿esta raro este post? Si, pero no consigo una comunidad sobre alcohol así que lo quise adaptar ¡AQUÍ VAMOOOS!
Beautiful people! Today I want to talk about a particular moment that two series showed so much that it caught my attention and little by little I have wanted it and made it come true. I want to mention the series: Game of Thrones and Vikings and their particular moments where they drink "wine" hahaha is this post weird? Yes, but I can't get a community about alcohol so I wanted to adapt it HERE WE GO!
Ambas series están basadas en ambientes nórdicos o fantasía medieval donde el alcohol era algo que se bebía en cualquier momento y siempre resaltaban dos bebidas, cada serie o época le tenia su nombre diferente pero yo le pondré el nombre por el cual yo conozco la bebida, la cerveza y la sangría o vino. Estás bebidas eran las típicas para cualquier celebración, hasta a veces daban a entender que la cerveza era una bebida barata y la sangría era más para los nobles, pero ya al seguir viendo las series veías que ambas bebidas aparecían por igual, lo impresionante es la cantidad que siempre se bebían.
Both series are based on Nordic environments or medieval fantasy where alcohol was something that was drunk at any time and always highlighted two drinks, each series or era had its different name but I will put the name by which I know the drink, beer and sangria or wine. These drinks were typical for any celebration, sometimes they even implied that beer was a cheap drink and sangria was more for the nobles, but when you continued watching the series you saw that both drinks appeared equally, the impressive thing is the amount that they always drank.
En particular yo me quiero enfrascar con el vino o la sangría, pues estas son bebidas a base de uva que dependiendo de si le agregan más azúcar u otras cosas termina siendo o vino o sangría y particularmente en mi 2021 definí algo por completo: SHANA AMA LA SANGRÍA JAJAJA. Con el tiempo me di cuenta que de verdad esta es mi bebida alcohólica favorita pero gracias a estas series la quiero beber de una manera particular.
In particular I want to get involved with wine or sangria, because these are grape based drinks that depending on whether they add more sugar or other things ends up being either wine or sangria and particularly in my 2021 I defined something completely: SHANA LOVES SANGRIA HAHAHAHA. Over time I realized that this really is my favorite alcoholic beverage but thanks to this series I want to drink it in a particular way.
Si vieron las series que estoy aquí mencionando ¿recuerden como bebían el vino?, no eran en cualquier vaso era en copas de mínimo material de cobre, donde de verdad tenían también un jarrón, del mismo material, lleno del vino sirviendo a cada rato esa copa para beber mientras los diálogos de las series se desarrollaban... COYE YO QUIERO ESO EN MI VIDA POR FAVOR, yo amo esa bebida entonces yo siento que como amé estás series también merezco poder hacerle honor al vino como GOT y Vikings lo hace EN UNA COPA BELLA Y HERMOSA.
If you saw the series I'm mentioning here, remember how they drank the wine, it wasn't in just any glass, it was in glasses of minimal copper material, where they actually had a vase, of the same material, filled with the wine, serving that glass every now and then to drink while the dialogues of the series were going on? COYE I WANT THAT IN MY LIFE PLEASE, I love that drink so I feel that as I loved these series I also deserve to be able to honor the wine like GOT and Vikings does IN A BEAUTIFUL AND BEAUTIFUL CUP.
Voy a comparar ahora como lo bebían en cada serie, pues lo que me encanta también de ambas es que los personajes en lo que es “modales y personalidad” pueden diferenciarse bastante, por una parte tenemos a los vikingos donde nos les importaba derramar gotas o varias partes del vino al suelo, con tal celebrar, gritar y bailar mientras lo tienen en la mano y beber, agarraban su copa sin problema bebían todo o un sorbo y seguían su fiesta de locura y ovación, eso me gusta no por botar mi bebida jaja, si no el beber el vino en una copa y estar muy feliz y celebrando siempre será algo que me alegrará a mi, pues aunque me guste no soy una persona de beber mucho, entonces prefiero beber con gente acompañada y eso significa tener una pequeña razón para gritar “SALUD” o como dicen en la serie “SKOL”. Otra cosa increíble ELLOS BEBEN EN CUERNOS DE MAMUT... Yo quiero una copa en forma de cuerno de mamut.
I am going to compare now how they drank it in each series, because what I also love about both is that the characters in what is "manners and personality" can be quite different, on the one hand we have the Vikings where they did not mind spilling drops or several parts of the wine on the floor, as long as they celebrate, scream and dance while they have it in their hand and drink, they grabbed their glass without problem they drank all or a sip and continued their party of madness and ovation, I like that not for throwing my drink haha, but drinking wine in a glass and being very happy and celebrating will always be something that will make me happy, because although I like it I am not a person to drink a lot, so I prefer to drink with people in company and that means having a small reason to shout "HEALTH" or as they say in the series "SKOL". Another amazing thing THEY DRINK IN MAMMUT HORNS.... I want a cup in the shape of a mammoth horn.
En GOT, las cosas son mas formales, pero las cantidades eran igual de grandes, nos mostraban un lado muy “noble”, donde en una copa de oro o cobre, agarraban y te servían un poco de vino en la copa, y mientras conversaban del reino, problemas o chismes se servían unas 4 copas más, DEJANDOME LOCA PUES ESO ERA BEBER BASTANTE Y RÁPIDO. Amaba también era como caminaban y agarraban la copa, pues la trataban como su fuera parte de soy conjunto, de su porte, que si la agarraban mal todo lo que querían mostrar se vería muy mal y si tenían la copa vacía también se verían mal.
In GOT, things are more formal, but the quantities were just as big, they showed us a very "noble" side, where in a gold or copper cup, they grabbed and poured a little wine in the glass, and while they talked about the kingdom, problems or gossip they poured about 4 more glasses, DEJANDING ME CRAZY BECAUSE THAT WAS DRINKING A LOT AND FAST. I also loved the way they walked and held the glass, because they treated it as if it was part of their outfit, of their bearing, and if they held it wrong everything they wanted to show would look very bad and if they had an empty glass they would also look bad.
En resumen, yo quiero comprarme un juego de copas y jarrones para llenarlos de mis vinos y sangrías favoritos, hacer fiestas de temáticas de GOT o Viking y servirles a todos y al que no le guste pues QUE POR FAVOR TRAIGA CERVEZA O AGUA. De verdad estoy muy feliz de como esas series me han ayudado a darle ese toque a mi vida, porque de verdad yo antes no me importaba donde estaba bebiendo la sangría, ahora si, me siento más grande y siento que estoy queriéndome más si me esfuerzo en buscar beberla con más “referencia” a esas series, me sentiré mucho mejor y feliz porque jamás seré una persona que deje de ver CUALQUIER tipo de serie o película.
In short, I want to buy a set of glasses and pitchers to fill them with my favorite wines and sangrias, have GOT or Viking themed parties and serve them all and whoever doesn't like it, PLEASE BRING BEER OR WATER. I really am very happy how those series have helped me to give that touch to my life, because I really didn't care before where I was drinking the sangria, now I do, I feel bigger and I feel that I am loving myself more if I make an effort to look for drinking it with more "reference" to those series, I will feel much better and happy because I will never be a person who will stop watching ANY kind of series or movie.
