Hola amigos || Hello friends
Cuando llegan los domingos es síntoma de cine. Bueno, que más quisiera que fuera el cine ja ja ja... Me conformo con poder ver películas en casa y en familia. Por supuesto con un gran envase de cotufas, una buena Coca-Cola y algo dulce acompañado de una buena producción cinematográfica. Aunque debo confesar que antes de pasar esas horas frente a la TV nos toca como familia el mantenimiento de casa y de esa forma mantenerla lo más ordenado posible para recibir una nueva semana.
When Sunday rolls around, it's movie time. Well, I wish it were the movies, ha ha ha... I'm happy just to watch movies at home with my family. Of course, with a big bag of popcorn, a nice Coca-Cola, and something sweet to accompany a good film. Although I must confess that before spending those hours in front of the TV, we have to do some housework as a family to keep the house as tidy as possible for the new week ahead.
Para empezar debo comentarles que definitivamente hay películas que no deben repetirse como por ejemplo esta que hoy les presento a la que de seguro ya conocen. Esta película empezó con un desarrollo, que aborda los temas de forma precisa para darle un lindo cierre que no está mal pues en la primera entrega hubo algunas preguntas que no tuvieron respuestas. La primera entrega aun con siendo una película con un gran presupuesto realmente dejó una gran entrega y una sólida historia.
To begin with, I must tell you that there are definitely movies that should not be repeated, such as the one I am presenting to you today, which I am sure you already know. This movie began with a development that addresses the issues precisely to give it a nice ending, which is not bad, since in the first installment there were some questions that were left unanswered. The first installment, even though it was a big-budget movie, really left a great impression and a solid story.
En este caso, la segunda entrega recurre a un terror sobrenatural que en verdad no le vi sentido más allá de los buenos efectos especiales y una atmósfera presentada pero mal trabajada y bueno, teniendo algunos buenos momentos de terror aunque algo exagerado. Pero hay algo en la producción que me agradó muchísimo y enseguida que vi el efecto recordé como se veían las películas en un VHS ese fue un toque bastante interesante sobre todo sabiendo en la época donde nos dirige la historia de esta película. En mi opinión, nada profesional puedo decir con basa que no tenía sentido hacerle una secuela. La trama en esta segunda entrega es lenta y tan lenta que me aburrí demasiado rápido y eso quiere decir que ya vamos mal.
In this case, the second installment resorts to supernatural horror that I didn't really see the point of beyond the good special effects and an atmosphere that was presented but poorly executed. Well, it did have some good moments of horror, albeit somewhat exaggerated. But there is something about the production that I really liked, and as soon as I saw the effect, I remembered how movies looked on VHS, which was a pretty interesting touch, especially knowing the era in which the story of this movie takes place. In my opinion, as an amateur, I can say that it made no sense to make a sequel. The plot in this second installment is slow, so slow that I got bored too quickly, and that means we're already off to a bad start.
Y es que si comparamos esta con la primera, por supuesto la primera se lleva un óscar ja ja ja. En esta nueva le han quitándole el protagonismo a Finney y ofreciéndonos un lado de Finney muy diferente al que conocíamos. Acá su hermana es la protagonista la que me agradaba mucho más en la primera película donde la verdad no me agradó mucho pues creo que a Finney pudieron sacarle mucho más provecho.
If we compare this one with the first one, of course the first one wins hands down, ha ha ha. In this new one, they've taken the spotlight away from Finney and shown us a very different side of him than the one we knew before. Here, his sister is the protagonist, whom I liked much more in the first movie, where I didn't really like her very much because I think they could have gotten much more out of Finney.
En fin, definitivamente no debieron hacer secuela pues literalmente la primera tenía tema y sentías un terror más realista con el que inclusive lo llegábamos a identificar como hechos reales, como lo son los secuestros. A la final ni siquiera se preocuparon por seguir el desarrollando de la primera entrega así que en mi opinión, esta película es una verdadera pérdida de tiempo.
In short, they definitely shouldn't have made a sequel because the first one literally had a theme and you felt a more realistic terror that we could even identify with as real events, such as kidnappings. In the end, they didn't even bother to follow up on the development of the first installment, so in my opinion, this movie is a real waste of time.
