Hola amigos || Hello friends
A few days ago talking with my beautiful friendabout series and movies, she recommended me a series that after ¨Gambito de Dama¨ which is also a very good production and for which I stayed up many days to finish it, today another great production of the Netflix network called ¨YOU¨ a series that I found interesting since I started watching it. I immediately wrote to
and said ¨Wow wow...¨ Without a doubt I had gotten my next addiction. I consider myself a seriefilia (A fan of series) Although not all of them are my favorites. I like much more the police series, suspense, horror. But ¨You¨ is something different than what I had seen before and that may be why it grabbed me quickly.
When I saw the first chapter I kept thinking, and yes, it's true. Psychopaths and sociopaths exist, and it is we ourselves who give them the freedom to spy on us, we expose ourselves in social networks, leaving them the easiest task. One of the things that caught me the most of the series, is that for many moments I got to thinking: What are we capable of for love? Would you do it Edwards? How crazy can we be?
The series is based on a literary saga composed of two novels and written by Caroline Kepnes (American writer and screenwriter) which talks about bullying, the world of technology and social networks. And of course, love. The writer has already published books such as: You (2014), Hidden Bodies (2016) and You Love Me (2021).
My questions come from the plot of the series which tells the story of a bookseller named Joe Goldberg. A young man of twenty-eight, brilliant, obsessive, and willing to do everything possible to conquer the girl he imagines for him. In conclusion, I call him a stalker. But I can't tell you more about this great series which I invite you to watch.
I really like this series because it breaks with the stereotype of the serial killer as a strange and unpleasant guy, the story of Joe Goldberg is a story that makes us aware of how apparently romantic situations can become toxic when they are surrounded by unhealthy components. The series makes it clear that we may have one life, but we also make up others, trying to pretend otherwise, wanting to be accepted no matter what, and in the end we do what others want and not what we really need to be well. Making this clear to us, I am sure that more than one will make you reflect.
Definitivamente Netflix ha llevado al éxito a más de una producción como por ejemplo: La casa de papel, 13 Reasons Why, Riverdale, y esta que les estoy presentando. Si quieren saber más sobre esta gran producción pueden visitar esta Reseña
