¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo la reseña de una película basada en el libro de Charlotte Brontë: Jane Eyre.
Como aclaro en el título está es la versión del 2011. Hay otras, pero esta es la primera que veo y ahora les voy a dar mi opinión al respecto.
Hello friends! Today I bring you the review of a movie based on the book by Charlotte Brontë: Jane Eyre.
As I clarify in the title this is the 2011 version. There are others, but this is the first one I've seen and now I'm going to give you my opinion about it.

¿De qué trata? - What is it about?
Jane Eyre es justamente la historia de vida de la protagonista que lleva el mismo nombre. Jane (Mia Wasikowska) es una niña que quedó huérfana y está al cuidado de una tía que la desprecia. Esta la terminó mandando a un internado de niñas que es muy estricto, pero que termina por formarla como persona y le da una profesión. Ella se convierte en una institutriz más del internado, hasta que es contratada para instruir a una jovencita en la mansión de Thornfield.
Allí terminará conociendo al señor Edward Rochester (Michael Fassbender), el dueño del lugar, un hombre un tanto extraño que esconde sus propios secretos pero que termina cautivando a la joven Jane y ella a él. Sin embargo, misteriosos ruidos y voces rondan por la mansión de noche y el peligro los acecha.
Jane Eyre is precisely the life story of the protagonist of the same name. Jane (Mia Wasikowska) is a girl who was orphaned and is in the care of an aunt who despises her. This ended up sending her to a boarding school for girls that is very strict, but that ends up forming her as a person and gives her a profession. She becomes just another governess at the boarding school, until she is hired to teach a young girl at Thornfield's mansion.
There she will end up meeting Mr. Edward Rochester (Michael Fassbender), the owner of the place, a somewhat strange man who hides his own secrets but who ends up captivating the young Jane and she him. However, mysterious noises and voices haunt the mansion at night and danger stalks them.
Opinión - Opinion
Bueno como verán es una trama bastante interesante o al menos a mí me lo pareció. La historia es atrapante por sí sola, me gusta el toque de romance, misterio y drama que tiene. Es una buena combinación. No tiene demasiado de nada, sino que forma un buen equilibrio entre sus partes. No se dejen engañar, no es solo una historia romántica como la hacen ver a veces.
Well, as you can see, it's a very interesting plot, or at least I thought it was. The story is gripping on its own, I like the touch of romance, mystery and drama it has. It's a good combination. It doesn't have too much of anything, but forms a good balance between its parts. Don't be fooled, it's not just a romance story as it's sometimes made out to be.
Podemos recorrer la vida de Jane, que es bastante sufrida desde que era una niña con una familia que no la quiere y la maltrata. Hasta que llega al instituto donde la siguen maltratando a la vez que también la instruyen. Encima tiene que soportar la pérdida de una amistad producto de una enfermedad que se podría haber evitado. Sin embargo, todo esto terminó forjando su carácter y convirtiéndola en la persona que llega a ser, me gusta la fortaleza que muestra y como se esfuerza por dar lo mejor de sí, aunque también es bastante abnegada y suele perdonar las injusticias que le hacen pasar.
We can go through Jane's life, which is quite suffering since she was a child with a family that does not love her and mistreats her. Until she arrives at high school where she continues to be mistreated while also being taught. On top of that, she has to endure the loss of a friendship due to an illness that could have been avoided. However, all this ended up forging her character and turning her into the person she has become, I like the strength she shows and how she strives to do her best, although she is also quite selfless and tends to forgive the injustices they put her through.
En la película vemos fragmentos de su pasado mezclados con su presente. Está bastante bien hecho, a veces se me pasaba el cambio por unos instantes hasta que me daba cuenta que volvimos al presente. Esos enfoques de cámaras son geniales.
También me agrada la atmósfera misteriosa que envuelve a la mansión, es tal cual me la imaginaba en el libro. Es un lugar muy lindo, pero a la vez es un poco espeluznante. Sus páramos brumosos, las lluvias, los jardines laberínticos. Todo contribuye para hacer un buen escenario de este film.
In the film we see fragments of his past mixed with his present. It's quite well done, sometimes I missed the change for a few moments until I realized that we were back to the present. Those camera focuses are great.
I also like the mysterious atmosphere that surrounds the mansion, it's just as I imagined it in the book. It's a very nice place, but at the same time it's a bit creepy. Its misty moors, the rains, the labyrinthine gardens. Everything contributes to make a good setting for this film.
Los actores que le dieron vida a estos personajes me parecieron acordes a sus características físicas (que es lo de menos pero siempre es un plus que así sea) y captaron bien la esencia de ellos. La verdad me pareció bastante fiel al libro. Sacando algunas pequeñas cositas que no son relevantes para la trama, todo lo demás lo tiene.
The actors who gave life to these characters seemed to me to be in accordance with their physical characteristics (which is the least of it but it is always a plus) and captured the essence of them well. The truth is that I thought it was quite faithful to the book. Apart from a few little things that are not relevant to the plot, everything else is there.
Con respecto a la historia de amor, como les dije antes, si bien no siento que sea el tema central como en otras películas del género, lo que hay se hace sentir. Me creo lo que estos dos me están mostrando, es un amor que surgió desde la admiración. No es apasionante, pero es compañero y leal.
No les puedo hablar del misterio que envuelve a esta historia porque sería spoilers, así que por eso lo omito. Pero me encanta como estuvo planteado y lo bien representado que estuvo en la pantalla.
Regarding the love story, as I said before, although I don't feel that it is the central theme as in other films of the genre, what is there is felt. I believe what these two are showing me, it's a love that came from admiration. It's not passionate, but it's companionable and loyal.
I can't tell you about the mystery surrounding this story because it would be spoilers, so that's why I'm leaving it out. But I love how it was pitched and how well portrayed it was on screen.
