¡Hola amigos! Hoy les traigo mi opinión de una miniserie live action de 5 capítulos basada en un manga y anime que veía cuando era pequeña. La serie se estrenó en diciembre, pero no la había podido ver hasta ahora y déjenme decirles que es el live action más perfecto que vi en mi vida. Les estoy hablando de Yu Yu Hakusho.
Hello friends! Today I bring you my opinion of a 5 episode live action miniseries based on a manga and anime I used to watch when I was little. The series premiered in December, but I hadn't been able to watch it until now and let me tell you that it is the most perfect live action I've ever seen in my life. I'm talking about Yu Yu Hakusho.
Trama - Plot
La serie trata sobre un adolescente problemático llamado Yusuke Urameshi que un día desafía las reglas del destino al salvar a un niño de una tragedia y termina muriendo en el acto. De inmediato es llevado por Botan, una especie de parca, al mundo espiritual para hablar con Koenma, que es el que cuida el lugar y decide en base a las acciones que tuvieron en vida si las almas de los fallecidos van hacía el cielo o el infierno. Viendo a Yusuke y considerando que el hecho que lo mató fue provocado por un Yokai, un demonio, decide convertirlo en un agente espiritual y mandarlo de vuelta con vida al mundo humano para que pueda luchar contra los yokais que se empecinan en cruzar de su mundo demoníaco al humano para hacer desastres. Es allí donde empieza la aventura de este joven luchador que buscará hacerse más fuerte cada día para acabar contra los demonios malignos que quieran hacerle daño a sus seres queridos, pero en su camino aprenderá que no todos los yokais son malos, así como no todos los humanos son buenos.
The series is about a troubled teenager named Yusuke Urameshi who one day defies the rules of fate by saving a boy from a tragedy and ends up dying on the spot. He is immediately taken by Botan, a kind of grim reaper, to the spirit world to talk to Koenma, who is the caretaker of the place and decides based on the actions they had in life whether the souls of the deceased go to heaven or hell. Seeing Yusuke and considering that the event that killed him was caused by a Yokai, a demon, he decides to turn him into a spiritual agent and send him back alive to the human world so that he can fight against the Yokai who insist on crossing from their demonic world to the human world to make disasters. It is there where the adventure of this young fighter begins, who will seek to become stronger every day to end the evil demons who want to harm his loved ones, but on his way he will learn that not all yokais are bad, just as not all humans are good.

Que pedazo de serie, estoy gratamente sorprendida con la maravilla que me encontré, es increíble que lograrán una adaptación tan brillante en tan pocos capítulos, pero queda demostrado que sí se puede. Considerando que es un anime que vi por última vez hace 20 años, ver este live action me recordó muchas cosas y puedo decir que estuvo muy bien resuelto todo. No lo tengo tan fresco, seguro que hubo algunas subtramas y sucesos diferentes, pero lo que me acuerdo patente estuvo incluido.
What a great series, I am pleasantly surprised with the wonder that I found, it is incredible that they achieved such a brilliant adaptation in so few chapters, but it is demonstrated that it can be done. Considering that it is an anime that I last saw 20 years ago, watching this live action reminded me of many things and I can say that everything was very well resolved. I don't have it so fresh, I'm sure there were some different subplots and events, but what I remember was included.
También quiero destacar el buen casting que lograron, son iguales a los personajes animados no solo en lo físico, sino en el carácter y la personalidad, era la esencia de los personajes que recordaba. El vestuario también es impresionante, las características de los yokais, todo es muy igual a como lo recuerdo. La verdad es que estuvo increíble. Me llenó de emoción ver esta serie.
I also want to highlight the good casting they achieved, they are equal to the animated characters not only physically, but in character and personality, it was the essence of the characters I remembered. The costumes are also impressive, the characteristics of the yokais, everything is very similar to what I remember. The truth is that it was amazing. I was very excited to see this series.
Además de todo esto, es muy adictiva de ver y sentí que la termine muy rápido más allá de que solo tenga 5 capítulos, se me pasaron volando. Me atrapó desde el primer momento. Me quito el sombrero ante semejante trabajo de adaptación y la serie por sí sola también es entretenida o al menos a mí me lo parece, tiene mucha acción y al ser corta no hay casi relleno. Así que si quieren algo corto y entretenido para ver esta serie es la ideal.
Besides all this, it is very addictive to watch and I felt that I finished it very quickly even though it only has 5 chapters, they flew by. It grabbed me from the very first moment. Hats off to such a job of adaptation and the series itself is also entertaining or at least it seems so to me, it has a lot of action and being short there is almost no filler. So if you want something short and entertaining to watch this series is ideal.
Estuve investigando y quizá haya una segunda temporada. Ya no me acuerdo tanto, pero estaba segura de que el anime o el manga es mucho más largo, así que puede ser. Por mí parte voy a cruzar los dedos para que así sea porque me encantaría seguir viendo más de estos increíbles personajes y su historia.
I was researching and maybe there is a second season. I don't remember so much anymore, but I was sure the anime or manga is much longer, so maybe. I for one am going to cross my fingers that it is because I would love to keep seeing more of these amazing characters and their story.
