Hola a todos... El día de ayer estaba viendo esta película que muchas veces me saco carcajadas durante varios años en mi vida, me sorprendió que, aunque salió al cine hace más de 20 años, hasta la fecha de hoy es una de esas pocas películas que envejece muy bien y que guardas como un clásico que siempre veras en tu lista de Streaming. A manera personal siento que esta película está bien hecha para adaptarse a todas las generaciones que la vean, incluso 20 años después se sigue viendo y causando un enorme impacto en los espectadores. Por eso quería hablar sobre esta película que recuerdo con mucho cariño.
Hello everyone... Yesterday I was watching this movie that many times made me laugh during several years in my life, I was surprised that, even though it was released more than 20 years ago, until today it is one of those few movies that ages very well and that you keep as a classic that you will always see in your Streaming list. Personally I feel that this movie is well made to suit all generations that watch it, even 20 years later it is still being watched and making a huge impact on viewers. That's why I wanted to talk about this movie that I remember very fondly.

La primera vez en mi vida que vi Shrek, recuerdo que tenía unos 6 años, una época donde me divertía cualquier basura que veía en la televisión como por ejemplo los teletubbies, pero luego mi mama compro uno de estos DVD (obviamente piratas) que tenía 6 películas infantiles y entre estas estaba shrek, mis hermanos y yo vimos esta película hasta el cansancio jaja, tanto así que rayamos el disco y tuvieron que comprar otro, pero aunque ya la habíamos visto un montón de veces aun nos seguía gustando. Pienso que esta película dio justo en el blanco ya que era una especie de parodia de todos los cuentos infantiles con mucho contenido de comedia claro algunos chistes no eran para niños, pero éramos tan inocentes que no lo veíamos jaja.
The first time in my life that I saw Shrek, I remember I was about 6 years old, a time when I was entertained by any garbage I saw on TV such as teletubbies, but then my mom bought one of these DVDs (obviously pirated) that had 6 children's movies and among these was Shrek, my brothers and I watched this movie until we got tired haha, so much so that we scratched the disc and had to buy another, but although we had already seen it a lot of times we still liked it. I think this movie hit the mark because it was a kind of parody of all children's stories with a lot of comedy content of course some jokes were not for children, but we were so innocent that we didn't see it haha.

La película cuenta la historia de un Ogro llamado Shrek que vive muy feliz y tranquilo en su pantano, el pasa su tiempo asustando a las personas, comiendo insectos y tirándose todos los pedos que le da la gana de tirarse, pero toda esa paz y tranquilidad cambia, cuando el lord farquaad exilia a todas las criaturas de los cuentos de hadas y todas llegan al pantano de Shrek, este muy molesto les pide que se vayan, pero estas criaturas no tienen a donde ir, así que Shrek con su amigo burro, deben ir hasta donde esta lord farquaad para pedirle que saque a todas esas criaturas de sus tierras, lord farquaad es un enemigo de las criaturas de los cuentos de hadas, por eso le hace una propuesta de intercambio a shrek, donde puede recuperar su tierras a cambio de que rescate a una princesa que el desea para casarse. Shrek acepta y con burro se embarcan a una gran aventura donde descubren cosas impresionantes, encuentran el amor y todo termina con un final feliz.

Como mencione antes es imposible no caer enamorado de esta historia por 3 razones: Su trama, el personaje y la banda sonora. ***La trama: *** La trama es algo muy familiar y que cualquiera puede entender, ya que abarcan aspectos de cuentos populares infantiles, es decir cuentos que todos hemos leído o escuchado desde que somos niños. Pero el hecho de que se puedan ver a las criaturas o personajes de estos cuentos en otras facetas, nos resulta genial, por ejemplo, se puede ver como geppetto vende a pinocho por necesidad, además como las hadas madrinas son esclavizadas y como el espejo de Blancanieves es usado como televisor para el entretenimiento de lord farquaad. Además, es posible ver como también estas criaturas de cuentos de hadas son maltratadas o explotadas por los seres humanos, que es algo que se ve mucho más en las películas posteriores.

In addition, it is also possible to see how these fairy tale creatures are mistreated or exploited by humans, which is something that is seen much more in later films.
El personaje: Shrek sin duda se ha ganado el corazón de todos, ya que es un personaje con el que muchos se pueden identificar, yo en mi caso me identifique muy bien, ya que en la escuela y la secundaria era como shrek un patito feo al que nadie le gustaba, y adore mucho la soledad. Pero shrek como personaje evoluciona en toda la película hasta convertir en una persona feliz, ya que por sus buenas cualidades hacen que resulte atractivo para la princesa Fiona. Además, aunque en el principio de la película Shrek pensaba que las cosas felices no les pasan a criaturas como el, vemos que estaba equivocado ya que al final de la película consigue tener su propio final feliz, al lado de la princesa Fiona y en las películas posteriores aumenta mucho más la felicidad. Además, shrek siempre tiene algún buen chiste bajo la manga ante cualquier situación, y resulta muy agradable, sin importar su aspecto atemorizante, cuando los personajes de burro y Fiona lo conocen bien no se alejan de él. Por último, también las frases que dice como, por ejemplo: ¡Las cebollas tienen capas! ¡Los ogros tenemos capas!

Finally, also the phrases he says like, for example: Onions have capes! Ogres have capes!
La banda sonora: Es lo último que puedo decir que hace de esta película algo extremadamente épico. Aunque se usan 12 canciones a lo largo de esta película, las 3 que más destacaron fueron: All Star y i'm a beliver de Smash Mouth y tambien Hallelujah de Rufus Wainwright Canciones que aun al día de hoy sigo escuchando y recordando momentos épicos de esta película.
The soundtrack: This is the last thing I can say that makes this movie extremely epic. Although 12 songs are used throughout this movie, the 3 that stood out the most were: All Star and i'm a beliver by Smash Mouth and also Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright Songs that even to this day I still listen to and remember epic moments from this movie.

Claro, aún hay otras cosas que hacen de Shrek una película legendaria en el cine, pero a manera personal estos aspectos es lo que más me llaman la atención de esta película del 2001, que aun hasta el día de hoy sigue siendo bastante divertida y ha envejecido muy bien, algo que como mencione al principio logran hacer pocas películas. La última película de shrek es la de Shrek Ofrecer After en el 2010, y aunque todas las películas de shrek fueron muy rentables, hasta el día de hoy no se ha lanzado una nueva película, aunque sería maravilloso ver a los hijos de shrek adolescentes o ver cómo ha envejecido este personaje o ver a que retos pudiera enfrentarse nuevamente. Y aunque hasta ahora no se ha dicho nada orden manera oficial, espero con muchas ansias una continuación de esta historia. Muchas gracias por leer, nos vemos en una próxima ocasión :D
