Drag Queens hay muchas, pero nada ni nadie ha internacionalizado tanto este arte como Rupaul Charles, despu茅s de la d茅cimo segunda temporada de Rupaul鈥檚 Drag Race como de costumbre sigui贸 una nueva temporada de Rupaul鈥檚 Drag Race All Stars que ya tiene 6 temporadas en su haber. Las expectativas eran altas despu茅s de las excelentes temporadas de Reino Unido y Espa帽a que ya est谩 a punto de finalizar, comenzar铆a de nuevo otro reality donde las reinas que perdieron en temporadas pasadas iban a volver a tener una segunda o hasta tercera oportunidad de lograr el codiciado premio de 100 mil d贸lares y un a帽o de suministros en cosm茅ticos.
Muchos nombres sonaron pero al final pocas fueron las elegidas y en esta oportunidad fue especial porque muchas caras nuevas vuelven a tener una oportunidad, lo cierto es que desde el Jueves 24 de Junio fecha de estreno de esta temporada los fan谩ticos de la franquicia estamos viviendo en un 茅xtasis total con una de las mejores temporadas de la historia.
La din谩mica es muy sencilla las reinas tienen que competir a trav茅s de retos de actuaci贸n, canto, confecci贸n, maquillaje y baile, en cada episodio hay 2 reinas que quedan en los 煤ltimos puestos y una queda como ganadora del cap铆tulo, pero la historia no termina ah铆 la Top queen debe enfrentarse en una sincronizaci贸n de labios a una Lip sync Assassin generalmente otras reinas que son muy buenas haciendo este tipo de actuaciones. Si gana la Top Queen obtiene 10.000 d贸lares y la oportunidad de eliminar a una de sus compa帽eras.
Pero lo m谩s importante son sus participantes y aqu铆 te doy un repaso de quienes son y en que temporada aparecieron solo con recuerdos porque se todo acerca de Rupaul鈥檚 Drag Race. As铆 que aqu铆 vamos.
Who is participating?
The first in alphabetical order is A'keria C. Davenport a beautiful black drag that we could enjoy in season 11, belonging to the Davenports one of the most important families in the drag world the fans of the show had high expectations with her participation for having won 2 challenges in her season and having arrived without problems to the final, but her participation in All Stars has left much to be desired it has been a very meh return.
Eureka is one of the most incredible queens that has ever set foot in the werk room (the workshop where the queens are prepared). She first participated in season 9 but had to leave after suffering a roller injury, Rupaul gave her another chance to return in season 10 where she reached the final and almost took the crown, but she has returned to the competition with the desire to take those 100,000 dollars and she is doing very well.
Ginger Minj is a comedy queen who originally participated in season 7 of Rupaul's Drag Race, with many challenges won and many bottoms she made it to the finals where she was one of the finalists. Years later she would return to All Stars 2 where her participation left much to be desired and she was the second to go home. This time her participation looks forced, she doesn't manage to convince anyone of her evolution with her poorly conceived looks, a pity because there are queens that deserved to go further.

Davenport una hermosa drag negra que pudimos disfrutar en la temporada 11, perteneciente a los Davenport una de las familias m谩s importantes del mundo drag los fans del show ten铆amos muchas expectativas con su participaci贸n por haber ganado 2 desaf铆os en su temporada y haber llegado sin problemas a la final, pero su participaci贸n en All Stars ha dejado mucho que desear ha sido un regreso muy meh.
Eureka es una de las reinas m谩s incre铆bles que ha pisado algunas vez el werk room (el taller donde se preparan las reinas) primero participo en la temporada 9 que tuvo que abandonar despu茅s de sufrir una lesi贸n en la rodillo, Rupaul le dio otra oportunidad de volver en la temporada 10 donde llego a la final y casi se lleva la corona, pero ha vuelto a la competencia con ganas de llevarse esos 100.000 dolares y lo est谩 haciendo muy bien.
Ginger Minj es una comedy queen que originalmente particip贸 en la temporada 7 de Rupaul鈥檚 Drag Race, con muchos retos ganados y muchos bottoms lleg贸 a la final donde logr贸 ser una de las finalistas. A帽os despu茅s volver铆a a All Stars 2 donde su participaci贸n dejo mucho que desear y fue la segunda en irse a casa. Esta vez su participaci贸n luce forzada, no logra convencer a nadie de su evoluci贸n con sus looks tan pocos concebidos, una l谩stima porque hay reinas que si se merec铆an llegar m谩s lejos.
Jan is one of the queens with more memes in the twelfth season, after being all her season Safe is back to reclaim her place. For me it's too soon to return and she seems to be in need of attention, her evolution is not noticeable and she seems inauthentic although she already won a challenge I think her exit should be soon.
Kylie Sonique Love is one of the first queens of the show originally from season 2 aired 11 years ago since then we had not had the opportunity to see her again on screen except for her participation in a Christmas special of the show a few years ago. She has been one of the most awaited comebacks now returning as a very beautiful trans woman who gives us a lot of life with her looks. One of the possible candidates for the crown.
Pandora Boxx is one of the most endearing queens for me, since her participation in season 2 where she stood out a lot becoming the Miss Congeniality and her disastrous participation in All Stars 1 I think she has evolved a lot although she is a traditional drag is great to see her again, although for me she deserves more recognition.
Jan es una de las reinas m谩s con m谩s memes en la d茅cimo segunda temporada, luego de estar toda su temporada Safe est谩 de regreso para reclamar su lugar. Para m铆 es muy pronto para regresar y parece estar urgida de atenci贸n, no se nota su evoluci贸n y parece poco autentica aunque ya gano un reto creo que su salida deber铆a ser pronto.
Kylie Sonique Love es una de las primeras reinas del show originalmente de la temporada 2 transmitida hace 11 a帽os desde entonces no hab铆amos tenido la oportunidad de verla de nuevo en pantalla a excepci贸n de su participaci贸n en un especial de navidad del show hace algunos a帽os. Ha sido uno de los regresos m谩s esperados ahora regresando como una mujer trans muy hermosa que nos da mucha vida con sus looks. Una de las posibles candidatas a la corona.
Pandora Boxx es una de las reinas m谩s entra帽ables para m铆, desde su participaci贸n en la temporada 2 donde se destac贸 mucho llegando a ser la Miss Congeniality y su desastroza participaci贸n en All Stars 1 me parece que ha evolucionado mucho aunque sea una drag tradicional es grandiosa verla de nuevo, aunque para mi merece m谩s reconocimiento.
I hated Ra'Jah O'Hara in her season to be specific originally season 11 of the show, with a horrible personality and full of insecurities I found her to be one of the most detestable queens ever. Belonging to another important family in the drag world the O'Hara's, she came back to All Stars to prove that she has grown a lot as a person and as a drag artist giving us life in every runway. She definitely looks like another person doing very well and has redeemed herself, another possible candidate for the crown.
Trinity K. Bonet had to wait 7 years to return after premiering season 6 of the show, with one of the worst track records of the show this queen is loved for giving good looks and the greatest lip syncs of her season. Her comeback has been one of the most awaited, although she already won a challenge she couldn't win the lip sync, and she has already been among the last ones again. I don't think this is Trinity's chance, but she will fight.
Scarlet Envy is one of those queens loved for being beautiful but in the show maybe they haven't done so well. It's sad because since her participation in season 11, her sad elimination to the rhythm of Donna Summer, I was hoping to see her succeed but she has been eliminated in my opinion unfairly from All Stars 6 despite giving some of the best looks on the runway. We don't deserve this goddess.
A Ra'Jah O'Hara la odie en su temporada para ser espec铆ficos originalmente la temporada 11 del show, con una personalidad horrible y llena de inseguridades me pareci贸 una de las queen m谩s detestables de la historia. Perteneciente a otra familia importante dentro del mundo drag las O'Hara, regreso a All Stars a demostrar que ha crecido much铆simo como persona y como artista drag d谩ndonos vida en cada runway. Definitivamente parece otra persona lo est谩 haciendo muy bien y Ha redimido, otra posible candidata a la corona.
Trinity K. Bonet tuvo que esperar 7 a帽os para regresar despu茅s de estrenarse la temporada 6 del programa, con uno de los peores track records del programa esta queen es amada por dar buenos looks y los m谩s grandes lip syncs de su temporada. Su regreso ha sido de los m谩s esperados, aunque ya gan贸 un reto no pudo ganar el lip sync, y ya ha estado entre las ultimas otra vez. No creo que esta sea la oportunidad para Trinity pero vaya que dar谩 pelea.
Scarlet Envy es de esas reinas amadas por ser bellas pero que en el show quiz谩s no les ha ido tan bien. Es triste porque desde su participaci贸n el temporada 11, su triste eliminaci贸n al ritmo de Donna Summer, esperaba verla triunfar pero ha sido eliminada a mi parecer injustamente de All Stars 6 a pesar de dar de los mejores looks en el runway. No merecemos a esta diosa.
Yara Sofia is one of the most loved latinas in the drag world, after being in the top 5 of season 3, being Miss Congeniality and shining in season 1 of All Stars she comes back to show why she is one of the most endearing drag Queens of the competition. However this beautiful Puerto Rican goes home with nothing. Too bad because we love this goddess.
Silky Nutmeg Ganache how could I start one of the loudest and most unbearable queens of the competition, loved by many, hated by some Silky was clear that she had to leave her bad reputation in the past in order to have her redemption and she did it in a great way but it was not enough and unfortunately she was eliminated. I certainly would have liked to have seen more of her in All Star 6.
Jiggly Caliente is one of my favorite queens throughout the franchise, she first participated in season 4 and it took almost 9 years to see her again after her season. Jiggly was a poorly produced queen and served up horrible looks but she also gave us spectacular lip syncs and we really love this trans woman. Sadly she was the second eliminated from All Stars 6.
Serena ChaCha was a real disaster during the fifth season of the show, terrible looks, lousy attitude and a lot of youth. This beautiful Panamanian should have lasted longer in the competition but all the Queens gave her the cold shoulder and she ended up being the first eliminated of All Stars 6. I didn't like her drag, but I feel like I was left wanting to see her evolution.
Yara Sofia es de las latinas m谩s queridas del mundo drag, despu茅s de quedar en el top 5 de la temporada 3, ser Miss Congeniality y brillar en la temporada 1 de All Stars vuelve para demostrar porque es una de las drag Queens m谩s entra帽ables de la competencia. Sin embargo este hermoso puertorrique帽o se vuelve a ir a casa sin nada. Una l谩stima porque amamos a esta diosa.
Silky Nutmeg Ganache como podr铆a empezar a una de las reinas m谩s ruidosas e insoportables de la competencia, amada por muchos, odiada por algunos Silky ten铆a claro que ten铆a que dejar su mala fama en el pasado para poder tener su redenci贸n y lo hizo de una manera grandiosa pero no fue suficiente y lamentablemente fue eliminada. Sin duda me hubiera gustado ver m谩s de ella en All Star 6.
Jiggly Caliente es de mis reinas favoritas durante toda la franquicia, primero participo en la temporada 4 y tuvieron que pasar casi 9 a帽os para volver a verla despu茅s de su temporada. Jiggly era una reina a poco producida y sirvi贸 looks horribles pero tambi茅n nos regal贸 lip syncs espectaculares y la verdad amamos a esta mujer trans. Lamentablemente fue la segunda eliminada de All Stars 6.
Serena ChaCha fue un verdadero desastre durante la quinta temporada del show, pesimos looks, p茅sima actitud y mucha juventud. Este hermoso paname帽o debi贸 durar m谩s en competencia pero todas las Queens le hicieron el feo y termino siendo la primera eliminada de All Stars 6. No me gustaba su drag, pero siento que me quede con ganas de ver su evoluci贸n.

The truth is that each one from their own style have done their best to give us a worthwhile product. Every elimination hurts and some things that happen during the reality show seem to be unjustified. The show is incredibly unprofessional when some Queens are taken to the finals without deserving it and being favored by a lousy production. There are redeemable things though, this season in particular has been one of the most beautiful and heartfelt of the franchise. Themes such as bullying, body shaming, and issues such as internet bullying, eating disorders and HIV.
Another highlight is that the lip sync assassins this time seem to be the best. We start with the first episode with the great lip sync assassin Coco Montrese, who since season 5 has been one of the favorite queens. In the second episode the guest would be the Canadian queen Brooke Lynn Hytes the first finalist of season 11, who gave us one of the best lip syncs so far.
But in episode 3 the one in charge of doing the lip sync would be nothing more and nothing less than the unforgettable Laganja Estranja from season 6, she literally killed her partner Trinity K. Bonet. Bonet to the rhythm of Dua Lipa's Physical. It was undoubtedly the perfect redemption for a queen who seemed to have no personality in her season, despite having superstar Allyssa Edwards as her drag mom.

Lo cierto es que cada una desde su estilo han hecho lo mejor que pueden para darnos un producto que valga la pena. Cada eliminaci贸n duele y algunas cosas que pasan durante el reality parecen ser injustificadas. El show es incre铆blemente poco profesional cuando algunas Queens son llevadas a la final sin merecerlo y siendo favorecidas por una p茅sima producci贸n. Sin embargo hay cosas rescatables, esta temporada en particular ha sido una de las m谩s hermosas y sinceras de la franquicia. Temas como el bullying, el body shaming y padecimientos como el acoso por el internet, los des贸rdenes alimenticios y el VIH.
Otra cosa destacable es que las lip sync assassin esta vez parecen ser las mejores. Comenzamos con el primer episodio con la gran Asesina de la sincronizaci贸n de labios Coco Montrese, que desde la temporada 5 ha sido una de las reinas favoritas. En el segundo episodio la invitada seria la reina canadiense Brooke Lynn Hytes la primera finalista de la temporada 11, que nos dios uno de los mejores lip syncs hasta ahora.
Pero en el episodio 3 la encargada de hacer el lip sync ser铆a nada m谩s y nada menos que la inolvidable Laganja Estranja de la temporada 6, literalmente asesino a su compa帽era Trinity K. Bonet al ritmo de Physical de Dua Lipa. Sin duda fue la redenci贸n perfecta para una reina que parec铆a no tener personalidad en su temporada, a pesar de tener como madre drag a la superestrella Allyssa Edwards.

She returned to the rhythm of pop princess Britney Spears' Womanizer, easily beating a weak Jan. In the last episode the guest would be Mayhem Miller who would lose to a graceful Jinger Minj.
Many surprises and more disappointments await us from the hand of Rupaul and his queens, however they give me a lot of life each episode and will certainly be my entertainment now that the great season 1 of Drag Race Spain is over.
La siguiente en subirse al main stage ser铆a la inolvidable Jessica Wild, la puertorique帽a que en la temporada 2 fue robada injustamente de ser parte del top de las finalistas. Volvi贸 al ritmo de Womanizer de la princesa del Pop Britney Spears, ganando f谩cilmente a una d茅bil Jan. En el 煤ltimo episodio la invitada seria Mayhem Miller que perder铆a ante una graciosa Jinger Minj.
Muchas sorpresas y m谩s desilusiones nos esperan de la mano de Rupaul y sus reinas, a pesar de ello me dan mucha vida cada episodio y sin duda ser谩n mi entretenimiento ahora que acabe la grandiosa temporada 1 de Drag Race Espa帽a.
