Hello fellow Cinephiles
This week on our "Monday's Match" I will bring you a movie that caught my eye, not for the story itself but because of the cast!
Usually, when I see movies with great casts I go for it even if at the end is a waste of time, but this one specifically, wasn't.
I'm talking about:
- Title: "Just Cause"
- Director: Arne Glimcher
- Cast: Sean Connery; Laurence Fishburne; Ed Harris; Scarlett Johansson;
(and this is only to name a few)
- Genre(s): Drama; Crime; Action;
- Released: 1995
- Runtime: 1h 42m
- Plot: An old Law teacher finds himself being "pulled back in" to court to prove the innocence of a young black man who was sentenced to death.
- My opinion: Whilst I thought it had a slower beginning, which to me is usually a "turn off", if you stick around enough to reach the investigation you'll see the growing pace of things happening.
The doubt on his innocence shifts along with the movie, sometimes you believe it, others you don't.
As time goes by you eventually believe you figured the plot but if there is another thing they did well was the plot twists and shafting your opinion.
Is undoubtedly a must-watch!
Have I mentioned it has Sean Connery and Laurence Fishburne?
