Long time not being here, being an adult sometimes implies to do things of adult people and it may not include watching series and could talk about it. But I'm back, so I hope you're ready for a recommendation of a serie full of frigtening moments and great ones.

The Last of Us is a horror, drama sci-fi series, based on a Playstation game. It was directed by Director
Craig Mazin (Creator), Neil Druckmann (Creator), Craig Mazin, Neil Druckmann, Ali Abbasi, Jeremy Webb, Peter Hoar, Jasmila Zbanic, Liza Johnson and it is stared by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. The first season was released in January 15th, 2023. This is an original HBO series so evidently you can find it in Max platform and the second season is about to be released this month.
What is this series about? Twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a horrible virus, Joel, our main character, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, our girl main character, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the United States and depend on each other for survival. This story is told through 9 episodes and every episode has a duration of 1 hour and every single minute of it is valueble.
Finally, DO I RECOMMEND THIS SERIES? I would love to tell no, because it is one of the must disturbing series I've watched in my life ( I'm not a person of this kind of genre because I'm a very impressionable person and anything can cause me nightmares), however it is one of the best series I've watched in my life. The screenwriters of this series deserved all the awards they could have for this, there is not a secret for anyone how dificult could result to adapt a game to a series or a movie, however they did this wonderfully. Every character, every set, every moment was perfectly construct to produce fear, angst, sadness, tenderness and hitch with the story. So, if you like this genre, I definetely recommend you to give it an eye and if you're like me I promised all the disturbing moments are worth it.

Finalmente, ¿RECOMIENDO ESTA SERIE? Me encantaría decir que no, porque es una de las series más perturbadoras que he visto en mi vida (no soy una persona de este tipo de género porque soy muy influenciable y cualquier cosa puede causarme pesadillas). Sin embargo, es una de las mejores series que he visto en mi vida. Los guionistas de esta serie se merecían todos los premios posibles. No es ningún secreto lo difícil que puede resultar adaptar un juego a una serie o película, pero lo hicieron de maravilla. Cada personaje, cada escenario, cada momento fue construido a la perfección para crear miedo, angustia, tristeza, ternura y conectar con la historia. Así que, si te gusta este género, te recomiendo que le eches un vistazo. Si eres como yo, te prometo que todos los momentos perturbadores merecen la pena.
