The tactic of putting giant actors in a film is as old as Hollywood itself, and Netflix has been quick to learn this important lesson for its original productions. The most current proof that the strategy works is Red Notice, a production that basically sold itself due to the existence of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. Released on streaming, the feature film concentrates the trio in an uninspired journey, but entertains by navigating the ocean of topics it recommends.
The production follows John Hartley (Johnson), an FBI representative on the hunt for a notorious art thief named Nolan Booth (Reynolds). The pair are forced to cooperate to stop Sarah Black (Gadot), another thief intent on a huge heist who crosses the pair's path.
From the synopsis alone, it is already feasible to see several of the multiple influences that director and screenwriter Rawson Marshall Thurber drew upon to produce Red Notice.

together again! This is the third time that director Rawson Marshall Thurber and Dwayne Johnson have worked together. The two previously worked together on Central Intelligence (2016) and Skyscraper (2018).
Initially, the rights to the film had belonged to Mundial Pictures, but it rejected the film on the grounds that the budget was quite exorbitant. However, Netflix admitted the cost and took the lead.
Gal Gadot has become the third highest paid lady of 2020 by receiving 20 million dollars for her performance. Dwayne Johnson was also not far behind and collected the same portion.
