A bit of a strange, illogical, yet intriguing movie, sometimes people can surprise you in the worst way, and you never end up knowing someone 100%.

Some time ago I saw this movie, when I saw the trailer it caught my attention, I thought it looked interesting, a touch of suspense with terror, I thought so, however, this story fell short.

The Trap, is a film, in which a man decides to take his teenage daughter to the concert of her favorite singer, but all this leads to a trap to catch a dark and ruthless serial killer, is nothing more than a game of hunting where we will see scenes of suspense and tension, in which a man will be exposed, trying to find an escape, without anyone knowing who he really is.

So at first glance, it reads like a great scene, if well executed, everything is left to your imagination, we will not see the other life of this man, who supposedly is a psychopath, murderer and ruthless, you will not be horrified, as you will not see any of this in this film, only some suspenseful shots, showing some mental disorder.

It is curious how it is labeled as a horror movie, when reading this, one expects certain creepy scenes that make you startle, or at least something that attracts and resembles terror, but here this is far from being visualized, I do not deny it has its moments of suspense, uncertainty, but until there, it does not go beyond that.

Not to mention the performances, there is no denying,with the protagonist of this story, played by actor Josh Hartnett, was adequate, here we see how the whole plot is based on him, the whole development of the film was focused on showing how he solves each obstacle in an illogical way, subtracting a little suspense.

We are supposed to be dealing with a psychopath, the police as usual, shows her negligent at the time of doing her job and catching these beings; on the other hand we have the girl who plays the role of the artist, the singer, it was very noticeable how forced her interpretation was, I understand it was her first time in a movie, she can be forgiven for that, but unfortunately this takes away a lot from the movie.

There are many scenes a little absurd as I said, they lack logic, it is not denied, the movie hooks you in the first 30 minutes, but then it loses the sense, not to mention the ending, I do not want to spoil them, but this story definitely lacked more.

This is all I can say about this movie, good scenery, atmosphere, don't get carried away by the trailer, it's not intimidating at all, just so you don't get your hopes up, if that's what you were looking to see in this film.

Una película un poco extraña, ilógica, pero a la vez intrigante, a veces las personas pueden sorprenderte de la peor manera, y nunca terminas de conocer a alguien al 100%.

Hace un tiempo ví está película, al ver el tráiler me llamo la atención, pensé parece interesante, un toque de suspenso con terror, así me pareció, sin embargo,esta historia se quedó corta.

La Trampa, es un films, en el que un hombre decide llevar a su hija adolescente al concierto de su cantante favorita, pero todo esto conlleva a una trampa para atrapar a un oscuro y despiadado asesino en serie, no es más que un juego de cacería dónde veremos escenas de suspenso, y tensión,en el que un hombre se verá expuesto, tratando de buscar una escapatoria, sin que nadie sepa quién es él realmente.

Así a simple vista, se lee cómo una gran escena, si es bien ejecutada, todo queda a tu imaginación, no veremos la otra vida de este hombre, que supuestamente es un psicópata, asesino y despiadado, no podrás horrorizarte, ya que no verás nada de esto en este films, sólo ciertos planos de suspenso, mostrando algun desorden mental.

Es curioso como la etiquetan como una película de terror, uno al leer esto, se espera ciertas escenas espeluznantes, que te hagan sobresaltarte, o por lo menos algo que atraiga y se asemeja al terror, pero aquí esto está muy lejos de visualizarse, no niego tiene sus momentos de suspenso, incertidumbre, pero hasta allí, no pasa de más.

Sin mencionar las actuaciones, no se puede negar,con el protagonista de esta historia, interpretado por el actor Josh Hartnett, fue adecuada, aquí vemos cómo toda la trama se basa en él, todo el desarrollo de la película fue enfocada en mostrar cómo resuelve cada obstáculo de manera ilógica, restándole un poco el suspenso.

Se supone que estamos lidiando con un psicópata, la policía como siempre, la muestra negligente al momento de hacer su trabajo y atrapar a estos seres; por otra parte tenemos a la chica que interpreta el papel de la artista, la cantante, se notó mucho lo forzado de su interpretación, tengo entendido que era su primera vez en una película, se le puede perdonar por eso, pero lamentablemente esto le resto mucho a la película.

Hay muchas escenas un poco absurdas cómo dije, carecen de lógica, no se niega, la película te engancha en los primeros 30 minutos, pero ya después pierde el sentido, sin mencionar el final, que no quiero spolearselos, pero definitivamente a esta historia le faltó más.

Esto es todo lo que puedo opinar con respecto a esta película, buena escenografía, ambiente, no se dejen llevar por el tráiler, no intimida para nada, solo para que no se hagan ilusiones, si es lo que buscaban ver en este film.
