There has always been injustice, false accusations, most people tend to go by appearances, if you see someone badly dressed, you immediately think, that person is not good, surely he is on the wrong path.
But the truth is, appearances are often deceptive, most of the time, we believe that a person is good or bad, at first glance, it may be, in some cases it happens, however, there are others, where it is not so, and there we are wrong misjudging people.
That is what this story is about, a film that shows us two scenarios, one, the love between siblings, the love for your family, moves you and encourages you to do everything possible to prevail their innocence, against all the adversities present.
And the other, where by your appearance, by your actions, you are judged, singled out and even accused of committing the worst acts that a human being can do.
What it is about
This film was based on real events, it was called Final Justice, it shows us two brothers, who from a very young age cared for and protected each other, lacking the warmth and love of their parents.
Over the years they became two adults, each with a different life. On the one hand, we have Betty Anne Waters, a hard working, dedicated woman, she adores her brother, Kenneth Waters, who had a different life and character, he was a bit of a troublemaker, he also loved Anne very much, he always took care of her and protected her.
However, his attitude and way of being, got him into trouble, to such an extent that he was accused of committing a crime, he was sentenced to life imprisonment, this was a very hard blow for Betty Anne, because she was completely sure of her brother's innocence.
That is why she decided to study law and become a lawyer, defending her brother and getting him out of prison became her main goal.
Although this story begins with a family drama, as the events take place we see beyond, becoming a constant struggle with justice, against the system, and the police power.

This movie stars the famous actress Hilary Swank, playing the role of Betty Anne, in most of her performances, we can see her delivery in each role, with a look that transmits a lot, makes you want to keep watching how this story is going to end.
Here she shows us a woman, both mother and sister, struggling with her different roles, looking for a way to be with her children, and at the same time not abandoning her brother.

La familia es lo más sagrado que se tiene, al ver o sentir que alguien se adhiere a alguno, enseguida queremos intervenir, evitar a toda costa que lo lastimen, pero lo más importante asegurarnos que esté bien.
Siempre ha existido la injusticia, las falsas acusaciones, la mayoría se suelen llevar por las apariencias, si ves a alguien mal vestido, enseguida piensas, esa persona no es buena, seguro va por mal camino.
Pero la verdad es, las apariencias suelen ser engañosas, la mayoría de las veces, creemos que una persona es buena o mala, a simple vista, puede ser, en algunos casos suceda, sin embargo, existen otros, donde no es así, y allí nos equivocamos juzgando mal a las personas.
De eso se trata esta historia, una película que nos muestra dos escenarios, uno, el amor entre hermanos, el amor por tu familia, te mueve y te incentiva a hacer todo lo posible para prevalecer su inocencia, contra todas las adversidades presentes.
Y la otra, donde por tu apariencia, por tus acciones, eres juzgado, señalado e incluso acusado de cometer los peores actos que puede hacer un ser humano.
De que se trata
Este film fue basado en hechos reales, se denominó Justicia Final, nos muestra a dos hermanos, los cuales desde muy pequeños se cuidaban y protegían entre sí, a falta del calor y el amor de sus padres.
Con el pasar de los años se convirtieron en dos adultos, cada uno con una vida diferente. Por un lado, tenemos a Betty Anne Waters, una mujer trabajadora, entregada, adora a su hermano, Kenneth Waters, el cual tenía una vida y un carácter distinto, era algo problemático, también quería mucho a Anne, la cuidaba y protegía siempre.
Sin embargo, su actitud y manera de ser, lo metieron en problemas, a tal punto que fue acusado de cometer un crimen, el mismo fue condenado a cadena perpetua, esto fue un golpe muy duro para Betty Anne, pues ella estaba completamente segura de la inocencia de su hermano.
Es por ello que decide estudiar leyes, y convertirse en abogado, defender a su hermano y sacarlo de prisión se convirtió en su principal meta.
Aunque esta historia comienza con un drama familiar, a medida que ocurren los hechos vemos más allá, convirtiéndose así en una lucha constante con la justicia, contra el sistema, y el poder policial.
Actuaciones Ejemplares
Esta película es protagonizada por la famosa actriz Hilary Swank, representando el papel de Betty Anne, en la mayoría de sus actuaciones, podemos ver su entrega en cada papel, con una mirada que transmite mucho, te hace querer seguir viendo cómo va a terminar esta historia.
Aquí nos muestra a una mujer, a la vez madre y hermana, luchando con sus distintos roles, buscando la forma de estar con sus hijos, y a la vez no abandonar a su hermano.
Ella era la única que creía en él, por eso estaba decidida a demostrar su inocencia, y no pararía hasta lograrlo.
Kenneth Waters, es protagonizado por el actor Sam Rockwell, otro gran actor, lo recuerdo en una película denominada Los Mejores Enemigos, un buen film también, lo asimilo por su carácter explosivo.
Ambos actores hicieron un gran papel, y como les mencione, esta historia es basada en la vida real, cuenta con una excelente narración, con cada acontecimiento, todo por lo que lucho Betty Anne para encontrar la verdad.
Su entrega, su pasión, pero sobre todo el amor por su hermano, el no querer abandonarlo, aferrada a encontrar la verdad, esa la cual muchos se negaban a aceptar, y ponían todas las trabas posibles, haciendo su trabajo más difícil de hallarla.
Opinión
En una época donde todo se manejaba de manera manual, no existía la tecnología de hoy en día, y por ende los archivos, las pruebas, evidencias, todo quedaba registrado en papel, en unas cajas, almacenadas, donde después de cierto tiempo, las desechaban.
Y por supuesto, el tener que lidiar con todo esto, sin dejar a un lado, la poca cooperación o apoyo por parte del sistema judicial.
Historias como estas vemos en muchas partes, donde prevalece la injusticia, las acusaciones falsas, todo porque o para que, cuál es el propósito de esto, dañar la reputación de una persona, es lo único que logran, puedes pedir perdón, pero ya el daño está hecho.
El trauma, el encierro, las acusaciones, todo eso, como se olvida, como logras recuperarte de algo así, es fácil decir lo siento, me equivoque, pero como haces para olvidar todo el daño y sufrimiento que viviste.
Dicen que el tiempo lo cura y borra todo, es así, pero si te pones en el lugar de esta persona, el pasar por este encierro, alejado de tu familia, es un golpe muy duro, que requerirá de mucho, pero mucho tiempo, y ayuda psicológica, para poder recuperarte y dejar esto atrás.
Como dato, les comento, este film fue estrenado en el 2010, dirigida por Tony Goldwyn, por cierto, también es actor, muchos lo reconocerán por sus actuaciones en la famosa serie Scandall, personificando el presidente, o en Ghost, con Demi Moore y Sam Patrick Swayze.
No digo que sea una de las mejores películas, si les gustan estas historias basadas en hechos reales, con un estilo inspirador, y como les dije de reflexión, puede que no se arrepientan de verla.
