Death note, The human god of dead who dreamed for a peaceful world {review}

Equality doesn't exist in this world. Discrimination between humans is a very natural thing. Touch discrimination can occur based on power, money, and other things. In the case of justice, it's also the same. In a country, there exist some rules and regulations. If anyone violet the rules then it's called crime. According to the law, the punishment for doing a crime should be equal for everyone. But it's a matter of sorrow that it's not equal. It seems the laws of a country are not for powerful people. Criminals can do crime one after another and nobody can do any harm to them because they are powerful. In that kind of situation, common thoughts come to the mind of general humans and that is "It would be better if I had some kind of power to punish those criminals".

Sometimes coming that kind of thought is very natural. But what if we get some kind of power by which we can kill as well as punish those criminals? Recently I finished watching an anime for the 3rd time which is related that kind of thoughts how we think. So why not share about it here?

The name of the anime is "Death Note". The first episode was released at the end of 2006 for the first time. There are a total of 37 episodes of it and the duration of each episode is approximately 23 minutes. Now going to the direct in the storyline of the anime.

In the beginning, We can see Light Yagami who was a very intelligent student who has a desire for a peaceful world. His thought is the world would be better and more peaceful if there were no criminals. He is the hero and he is the villain at the same time in the anime.

Suddenly he found a mysterious notebook while returning from school and the name of it was a death note. The rules of how to use it were stated on the first page of the notebook. He didn't take it seriously and brought that notebook with him. According to the rules, if one name is written in the notebook the person will die within 40 seconds. But the picture of the person should need to exist in the mind of the writer. He didn't believe it but he was afraid of using it on general people. One day he saw that some bastards are doing the wrong thing in public and he was able to know their names and immediately he wrote the name of those bastards. Surprisingly the people's names written in the notebook died of a heart attack.

Light Yagami immediately returned home to see that and there he met with a shinigami (the real owner of the death note) named Ryuk. According to him, Light Yagami is the real owner of the death note, and Light Yagami was able to know all the rules of it from Ryuk.

So Light Yagami started to work to make his dream to make a peaceful world where would be no criminal and no violence. And he would be the god of the peaceful world. He started to kill all the criminals for it. Although The Identity of him hidden but he was getting huge support and he became popular with the name of "Kira". But detectives felt he was not doing good work because everyone has the freedom to leave doesn't matter if someone is criminal or not. And his father is one of those detective. So detectives started an investigation to find the identity of Kira.

So there the most intelligent detective was introduced there and his name of him was "Mr.L". Nobody knew the real identity of "L". The intelligence of "L" was very impressive. Within a short time, he was able to understand the killing process of "Kira". "Mr. L" started to play a mind game with "Kira" and suspected Light Yagami. The mind game between them made the anime very interesting. But somehow "Kira" as well as "Light Yagami" overcome all the challenges. "Light Yagami" tried many times to know the real name of "Mr. L" to kill him but failed but he used his girlfriend's (she has a death note also) shinigami name and forced him to lose the life of shinigami and for that reason, he was able to kill "Mr. L". It was one kind of betrayal. After that Light Yagami took the position of him.

Light Yagami killed many detectives for keeping his identity secret and none of them were criminal. They lost their life because they almost revealed their identity to him.

It was interesting that Light Yagami was the head of the investigation department and he is the Kira. So there was no one who can reveal his identity of him. But after a certain time, "Mr.N" (Near) and "Mr.M" (Mello) appeared there, and both of them was the successor of "Mr.L". "Mr. N" started to suspect Light Yagami like Mr.L.

"Mr.N" was able to reveal the identity of Kira. She showed that Light Yagami was nothing more than a serial killer.
In the end, Kira/Light Yagami achieves nothing and felt helpless, and started to think about the past and what he has done.

In my opinion, it was one of the best anime I have seen and it's worth watching. So go to watch it if you haven't seen it.
