Three ordinary people, who made a living repairing motorcycles, overwhelmed by their difficult financial situation, decide to commit a crime—but not just any crime. To get money, they come up with the idea of ​​kidnapping an elite soccer player from one of the biggest clubs. It's a good story, right? But the best part is that it happened in real life.

I loved "For One Hundred Million." It only has three episodes, which I think is excellent. There's no need to drag out the story. I watched them all in one go, like a three-hour movie. I couldn't stop once I started because it's so entertaining.

That was its biggest appeal for me: it entertains from beginning to end. The creators have managed to combine humor with emotional depth. The three crazy guys who think they'll solve their financial problems by committing a kidnapping win over the viewer's sympathy.

I loved the chemistry between the actors, especially those who play these three nutcases. In the miniseries, they're called Alfonso, Jorge, and Salva. My favorite was Vito Sanz, who plays Jorge. For me, he steals the show. He's the character who made me laugh the most.

Raúl Arévalo also does a great job; he's a fantastic actor. He plays Alfonso, who assumes the role of leader, believing himself to be a genius, but he's quite the opposite. Gabriel Guevara also stands out as Salva, and he gives us some truly hilarious dance scenes. The entire cast is perfect. Agustín Otón plays Quini, the footballer who was a star for FC Barcelona at the time. I enjoyed watching the beautiful actress María de Nati, playing Salva's love interest.

The period setting, the early 80s, is another highlight, as is the musical selection. Nostalgia plays an important role in evoking the viewer's emotions, especially for those who remember that era and, specifically, that curious case: the kidnapping of footballer Quini. Those were difficult times for Spanish society; Spain was still going through a period of transition, with serious economic hardship for workers, an attempted coup, and preparations for the 1982 World Cup.

History doesn't demonize the kidnappers; although what they did was wrong, the footballer himself forgave them. They served their prison sentences, but according to testimonies from those who knew them, they were good people who went astray. I searched for information online about the kidnappers and found very little; they must be retired, but they've vanished and refuse to speak to the press, especially now that the issue has resurfaced with the release of the miniseries.

If you want to enjoy an entertaining story that blends humor and drama, and is also short, I highly recommend it. It's on Movistar+, which has been producing excellent programs for several years. Watch it and tell me what you think.

Me encantó "Por cien millones". Solo tiene tres episodios, lo cual me parece excelente. No hay necesidad de alargar la historia. Los vi todos seguidos, como una película de tres horas. No pude parar una vez que empecé, porque es muy entretenida.

Ese fue su mayor atractivo para mí: entretiene de principio a fin. Los creadores han logrado combinar el humor con el aspecto emocional. Los tres locos que creen que resolverán sus problemas económicos cometiendo un secuestro se ganan la simpatía del espectador.

Eran tiempos difíciles para la sociedad española; aún atravesaba un periodo de transición, con graves dificultades económicas para los trabajadores, un intento de golpe de Estado y los preparativos para el Mundial de 1982.

La historia no demoniza a los secuestradores; aunque lo que hicieron estuvo mal, el propio futbolista los perdonó. Cumplieron sus condenas de prisión, pero según testimonios de quienes los conocieron, eran buenas personas que se descarriaron. Busqué información en internet sobre los secuestradores y encontré muy poca; deben estar retirados, pero han desaparecido del mapa y se niegan a hacer declaraciones a la prensa, sobre todo ahora que el tema ha resurgido con el estreno de la miniserie.
