It was in the 1990s when the Spanish adult film industry received a boost. The productions of that country began to be noticed and many names were consolidated. Directors, actresses and male actors became known around the world and the series Nacho, throughout its eight episodes, takes us back to that magical decade, where there was more freedom than in today's society.

The aim of the series is to tell us about the life and success of one of the Spanish adult film actors who achieved worldwide fame, the man whose real name is Ignacio Jordà, and that thanks to being born with a male endowment far superior to the rest of the mortals, he found the perfect job to succeed and now everyone knows him as Nacho Vidal.

The social double standard will make very few people recognize who this character is, although surely at some point in their lives they saw some of the productions in which he participated. That's the way the world is, and in these times political correctness has increased. I have never understood why the adult film industry or anything to do with sex is so stigmatized. There will be no shortage of hypocritical prudes screaming that the world is wrong for making a series about the life of an X-rated film actor. Gentlemen, it's a job, like any other, let's stop demonizing sex in the 21st century.

I have no problem admitting that I did know who the actor is. I have always been very liberal when I was a teenager I watched a lot of movies in DVD format, Nacho was in them with another great of that industry, the Italian stud Rocco Siffredi, who was his mentor. By the way Netflix has ready a series inspired by Rocco's life, it's called Supersex and will premiere later this year. Of course, it will have a different tone, but it will give the puritans something to talk about.

I should point out that Rocco's character also appears in Nacho's series, but I don't like the little physical resemblance of the actor who plays him. On the other hand, in the Netflix series, the handsome Italian actor Alessandro Borghi, who impressed me with his work in the series Suburra, will be in charge of playing Rocco, from the images I saw on the internet, he has more resemblance and I hope he does a phenomenal job, I can't wait to see that production.

Fue en la década de los 90 cuando la industria española del cine para adultos recibió un impulso. Las producciones de aquel país empezaron a hacerse notar y muchos nombres se consolidaron. Directores, actrices y actores masculinos se dieron a conocer en todo el mundo y la serie Nacho, a lo largo de sus ocho episodios, nos traslada a esa década mágica, donde había más libertad que en la sociedad actual.

El objetivo de la serie es contarnos la vida y el éxito de uno de los actores españoles de cine para adultos que alcanzó fama mundial, el hombre cuyo verdadero nombre es Ignacio Jordà, y que gracias a haber nacido con una dotación masculina muy superior al resto de los mortales, encontró el trabajo perfecto para triunfar y ahora todo el mundo le conoce como Nacho Vidal.

La doble moral social hará que muy pocas personas reconozcan saber quién es este personaje, aunque seguro que en algún momento de su vida vieron alguna de las producciones en las que participó. Así es el mundo, y en estos tiempos la corrección política ha aumentado. Nunca he entendido por qué se estigmatiza tanto la industria del cine para adultos o cualquier cosa que tenga que ver con el sexo. No faltará el mojigato hipócrita que gritará que el mundo se equivoca por hacer una serie sobre la vida de un actor de cine X. Señores, es un trabajo, como cualquier otro, dejemos de demonizar el sexo en el siglo XXI.

No tengo ningún problema en reconocer que sí sabía quién es el actor. Siempre he sido muy liberal cuando era adolescente veía muchas películas en formato DVD, Nacho salía en ellas con otro grande de esa industria, el semental italiano Rocco Siffredi, que fue su mentor. Por cierto Netflix tiene lista una serie inspirada en la vida de Rocco, se llama Supersex y se estrenará a finales de este año. Por supuesto, tendrá un tono diferente, pero dará qué hablar a los puritanos.

Debo señalar que el personaje de Rocco también aparece en la serie de Nacho, pero no me gusta el poco parecido físico del actor que lo interpreta. Por otro lado, en la serie de Netflix, el guapo actor italiano Alessandro Borghi, que me impresionó con su trabajo en la serie Suburra, sera el encargado de interpretar a Rocco, por las imágenes que vi en internet, tiene más parecido y espero que haga un trabajo fenomenal, estoy deseando ver esa producción.

Madness, fun and excess. The series is a magnificent cocktail that, when taken, will make you vibrate and those who lived the decade of the nineties may feel a little nostalgic. So far I've seen five episodes, and I only have three left, but I think that's enough to give you my opinion. I have to admit that I have had a great time in each episode, of course in the first one there is so much excess of everything you can imagine, and the pace is so devilish, that I felt as if I had ridden on all the amusement park rides.

It's just that everything that happens in the series, is how the real Nacho Vidal must remember his past. In his mind everything must happen like that and the scriptwriters do a great job writing such exaggerated situations that end up being funny. All the production work is very good, recreating the decade of the nineties and giving the right tone so that entertainment is never lacking.

Each episode has had a delirious moment, always related to Nacho's endowment and his relationships both inside and outside the industry. There is a crazy scene in which the protagonist has sex in a parking lot with Sara Bernat, who in real life was his partner. She was a prostitute and together they started in the industry. In the series, Sara is played by actress Maria de Nati, standing out in her acting challenge, not only for her physical beauty, which overflows the screen, but also demonstrating great strength and passion with her character, plus there is chemistry with the actor who plays Nacho.

I regret that the whole Sala Bagdad stage is so few episodes, but I understand that having a season of eight episodes, it is necessary to summarize many things. But I'm intrigued to know more about that famous room, which is still open. Have you never heard or read anything about that temple of sin?

The first time I read something about the Baghdad hall I was almost a child, I was in the last grade of elementary school. Despite my young age, I was already very naughty and had what for me was a treasure. Hidden among my belongings I had several Spanish magazines for adults. How did I have those magazines? It is a very funny anecdote, I think I told it some time ago in another publication, I will tell it again another time, I think I got nostalgic. It was in those pages that I considered sacred, where I saw for the first time photos and reports about the Bagdad Room.

It seems to me an important place in the history of the city of Barcelona. You have to understand that its inauguration coincided with the death of Franco, the dictator who kept Spain in darkness. He was an extremely religious man and sex was taboo. That is why, after his death and the establishment of democracy, the great Spanish uncovering took place and Sala Bagdad consolidated its name, being the only place in that country where there are live sex shows. Maybe the success of the series will get them interested in other industry stories and make a series just to tell the story of that place. The series, although based on the real life of Nacho Vidal, has invented situations that work for narrative effects, at the same time that some characters are inspired by real people, but presented with other names. This does not affect the story, so far full of insane situations. The important thing is that what is told is sufficiently interesting and amusing.

Locura, diversión y exceso. La serie es un magnífico cóctel que, al tomarlo, te hará vibrar y los que vivieron la década de los noventa podrán sentir un poco de nostalgia. Hasta ahora he visto cinco episodios, y sólo me quedan tres, pero creo que es suficiente para darles mi opinión. He de reconocer que me lo he pasado muy bien en cada episodio, claro que en el primero hay tanto exceso de todo lo que te puedas imaginar, y el ritmo es tan endiablado, que me he sentido como si me hubiera montado en todas aparatos del parque de atracciones.

Es que todo lo que pasa en la serie, es como el verdadero Nacho Vidal debe recordar su pasado. En su mente todo debe suceder así y los guionistas hacen un gran trabajo escribiendo situaciones tan exageradas que terminan siendo graciosas. Todo el trabajo de producciones muy bueno, recreando la década de los noventa y dando con el tono adecuado para que el entretenimiento nunca falte.

Cada episodio ha tenido un momento delirante, siempre relacionado con la dotación de Nacho y sus relaciones tanto dentro como fuera de la industria. Hay escena disparatada en la que el protagonista tiene sexo en un aparcamiento con Sara Bernat, que en la vida real fue su pareja. Ella era prostituta y juntos empezaron en la industria. En la serie, Sara es interpretada por la actriz María de Nati, destacando en su reto interpretativo, no sólo por su belleza física, que desborda la pantalla, sino también demostrando una gran fuerza y pasión con su personaje, además hay química con el actor que interpreta a Nacho.

Lamento que toda la etapa de Sala Bagdad sea de tan pocos episodios, pero entiendo que teniendo una temporada de ocho episodios, es necesario resumir muchas cosas. Pero me intriga saber más sobre esa famosa sala, que sigue abierta. ¿Nunca has oído o leído nada sobre ese templo del pecado?

La primera vez que leí algo sobre la sala Bagdad era casi un niño, estaba en el último curso de primaria. A pesar de mi corta edad, ya era muy travieso y tenía lo que para mí era un tesoro. Escondidas entre mis pertenencias tenía varias revistas españolas para adultos. ¿Cómo tenía esas revistas? Es una anécdota muy divertida, creo que la conté hace tiempo en otra publicación, te la volveré a contar en otra ocasión, creo que me entró la nostalgia. Fue en esas páginas que yo consideraba sagradas, donde vi por primera vez fotos y reportajes sobre la Sala Bagdad.

La serie, aunque basada en la vida real de Nacho Vidal, tiene situaciones inventadas que funcionan para efectos narrativos, al mismo tiempo que algunos personajes están inspirados en personas reales, pero presentados con otros nombres. Esto no afecta para nada a la historia, hasta ahora llena de situaciones demenciales. Lo importante es que lo que se cuenta sea suficientemente interesante y divertido.
