Sin duda alguna, es el mayor resumen que puede tener esta película. Al gato con botas, como personaje, lo conocemos como aventurero, tenaz y sin miedo a las represalias naturales gracias a lo que dicen por ahí que los gatos tienen siete vidas. No obstante, todo tiene un final; y para un estilo de vida tan osado como el que llevaba, pues a pesar de que era héroe para muchos, sus aventuras tendrían que llegar a su fin gracias a la irresponsabilidad de sus acciones para consigo. De un momento a otro, esa confianza que demuestra el personaje desaparece al darse cuenta que la muerte está más cerca de lo que él piensa, quedando solo y sin nada dado qué la leyenda que representaba era gracias a esa "inmortalidad" relativa debido al hecho de sus 7 vidas.

However, everything has an end; and for a lifestyle as daring as the one he led, because despite the fact that he was a hero to many, his adventures would have to come to an end thanks to the irresponsibility of his actions towards himself. From one moment to the next, that confidence that the character shows disappears when he realizes that death is closer than he thinks, leaving him alone and with nothing given that the legend he represented was thanks to that relative "immortality" due to the fact of his 7 lives.

Llevándolo a una faceta más humana, se encuentra con la encrucijada de que jamás se había percatado de lo frágil que podía llegar a ser. Siempre cabalgando directamente a la muerte nunca se percató de lo mucho que debió valorar su vida y lo que hacía con ella. Sus encantos se volvieron quebrantos, ahogados entre sus llantos de querer volver a ser la leyenda que todos celebran pero que, por miedo y pesar a perder su última vida, no iba a volver.

Es ahí donde sale la oportunidad de recuperar su vida gracias a la estrella del deseo. Entonces comienza su aventura, con miedo y pesar donde la acompaña Kitty, y perrito. Ambos personajes fungen una misión en el viaje, y es demostrarle que ese camino que tenía, a pesar de que era único, hacía que dejara de disfrutar cosas simples. Quizás en un principio emprendió el viaje en pro a recuperar su reputación, aún pensando en deseos egoístas, no obstante se dio cuenta que lo que hace a la vida,vida, es la inminente muerte. Y es que a todos nos llegará en algún momento, pero no debemos apresurarlo, podemos ser valientes, heroicos y demás... Sin dejarnos de cuidar a nosotros mismos. Aprendió que su error de no confiar en otros y vivir la vida al día no es realmente una vida, y a pesar de que se cegaba con las dichas que nos puede dar la lujuria (puesta en versión para niños como fiestas), realmente esa vida no era vida porque al final del día, estaría solo. Como dicen por ahí, muchos conocidos pero pocos con quién contar realmente.

He learned that his mistake of not trusting others and living life from day to day is not really a life, and despite the fact that he was blinded by the joys that lust can give us (played in a children's version as parties), that life was not really it was life because at the end of the day, he would be alone. As they say out there, many acquaintances but few with whom to really count.

Básicamente, al final de la película y después de una increíble trama, el gato con botas decide desechar la suerte y hacerse cargo de sus acciones, de su destino, pues ha comprendido que siempre tendrá valiosos amigos (siendo perrito el amigo y Kitty la pareja y a la misma ves amiga, pues será siempre su compañera de aventuras) que seguirán a su lado y eso es lo más importante para seguir escribiendo sus aventuras y su legado, sin importar que ahora exista el miedo de que la muerte está latente. Ya eso no le importa, porque como mencioné anteriormente, lo interesante de la vida es que en algún momento acabará y si es así, al menos seamos valientes de vivir plenamente conscientes de lo que pueda arrebatarnos pero más aún, sabiendo que aunque no sepamos cuando nos toque, podamos decir que vivimos como si fuera nuestro último día junto a personas que de verdad nos valoren y ayuden a construir nuestra historia.

That doesn't matter to him anymore, because as I mentioned before, the interesting thing about life is that at some point it will end and if so, at least let's be brave to live fully aware of what it can take away from us, but even more so, knowing that even if we don't know when touches us, we can say that we live as if it were our last day together with people who truly value us and help build our history.
