Viv y Johnny son hermanos, intentando conectarse de nuevo luego de que su madre muriese hace un año, Johnny es un periodista que hace entrevistas a niños de todo el país, mientras que Viv debe hacerse cargo de sus problemas familiares. Viv le pide a su hermano que cuide de su hijo por un tiempo mientras intenta convencer de llevar a su esposo a un hospital, es aquí, donde un tío tímido se debe enfrentar a un sobrino salvaje.

Considerando que era una película nueva de este año 2022, me vi C'mon c'mon para ver que era lo nuevo de Joaquin Phoenix, equivocándome nada más en el año ya que salio el año pasado 2021, teniendo una duración de una hora con cuarenta y ocho minutos, en blanco y negro, y con increíbles actuaciones. Al empezar a verla pensé que podría tener un mensaje oculto que solo seria visto si prestaba mucha atención, porque tenia muchas dudas al verla "¿Por qué en blanco y negro? ¿Tiene algo que ver las entrevistas? ¿El comportamiento del niño tiene una razón?" buscando la respuestas a mis interrogantes desde mi punto de vista.
Aunque conocí a Joaquin Phoenix con The Joker, vi más de su trabajo, teniendo ciertas cosas que lo hacen ser él, casi mostrándose como si fuese él el que elige los papeles en donde desea estar, en esta ocasión es así, tiene similitudes con personajes que ha hecho, tiene su marca, su carisma, ese algo que se puede decir: Es Joaquin Phoenix. Uniéndolo con su compañero, Woody Norman (Jesse) hacen una sincronía de locura que parece natural, estos dos actores tienen una química extraña y fuerte que se ve en la cinta, se siente como si ambos soltaran a sus personajes y los dejaran hablar, sin seguir un guion o alguna dirección, algo que me parecía muy hermoso.
Después de algunas escenas, sentí que había descubierto el porque del blanco y negro, no podría estar seguro porque es una opinión personal, pero tal vez, los colores iban a entorpecer el verdadero foco de la película, las conversaciones entre personajes, entender más la situación entre ellos, escuchar lo que ellos querían que se escuchara, no había ruidos extras de acompañamientos, los colores harían que viéramos a otro lugar prestando atención a la playa, los edificios, las luces, en vez de simplemente, escuchar. Puedo estar equivocado claramente, pero para mí, es mi punto de vista de porque fue hecha de esa manera.
Las entrevistas que se tienen en la película, podrían ser o no reales, pero el mensaje dado por cada niño si es real, el sentimiento de estar perdido, de no entender porque no se puede llorar, de no tener apoyo, es algo que algunos podríamos haber sentido a una corta edad, es una muestra para los adultos de que los niños no son tontos como la mayoría podría pensar. La película podría ser, como un libro de filosofía, dejándote incógnitas que deberías responder tu mismo, tomarlo como lo que desees, una historia extraña o una enseñanza raramente hermosa, no es para entretener como otras películas, esta película es para darse cuenta de algo o de pensar. Con su corta duración, su magnifica historia y su forma de contarla, claramente la recomiendo.
Considering that it was a new movie for this year 2022, I saw C'mon c'mon to see what was new from Joaquin Phoenix, making mistake about the year since it came out last year 2021, lasting one hour with forty-eight minutes, in black and white, and with incredible performances. When I started to see it I thought that it could have a hidden message that would only be seen if I paid close attention, because I had many doubts when I saw it "Why in black and white? Does it have something to do with the interviews? Does the child's behavior have a reason?" looking for the answers to my questions from my point of view.
Although I met Joaquin Phoenix with The Joker, I saw more of his work, having certain things that make him be him, almost showing himself as if he were the one who chooses the roles where he wants to be, this time it is like that, he has similarities with characters what he has done, he has his mark, his charisma, that something that can be said: He is Joaquin Phoenix. Joining him with his partner, Woody Norman (Jesse) they make a crazy synchrony that seems natural, these two actors have a strange and strong chemistry that is seen in the film, it feels as if they both let go of their characters and let them speak, without follow a script or some direction, something that seemed very beautiful to me.
After a few scenes, I felt that I had discovered the reason for black and white, I couldn't be sure because it's a personal opinion, but maybe the colors would hinder the true focus of the film, the conversations between characters, understand more the situation between them, to hear what they wanted to be heard, there were no extra accompanying noises, the colors would make us look elsewhere paying attention to the beach, the buildings, the lights, instead of just listening. I could be clearly wrong, but for me, it's my point of view as to why it was made that way.
The interviews that take place in the film may or may not be real, but the message given by each child is real, the feeling of being lost, of not understanding why one cannot cry, of not having support, is something that some we could have felt at a young age, it is a sign to adults that children are not stupid as most might think. The movie could be, like a philosophy book, leaving you with unknowns that you should answer yourself, take it as what you want, a strange story or a strangely beautiful teaching, it is not to entertain like other movies, this movie is to realize something or to think With its short duration, its magnificent story and its way of telling it, I clearly recommend it.
