Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you for having made a temporary stop in my post, some time ago I published a post of Adventure time being one of those animated series that marked a before and after, I recently learned that they released a miniseries that brings back the adventures of the series called "Adventure Time: Distant Lands" bringing back different characters characteristic of the series. I just have to add so be prepared that we are about to return to the adventures.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, hace un tiempo publiqué un post de Adventure time siendo una de esas series animadas que marcó un antes y un después, hace poco me entere que sacaron una miniserie que trae de vuelta las aventuras de la serie llamada “Adventure Time: Distant Lands” trayendo de vuelta a diferentes personajes característicos de la serie. No tengo más que añadir así que prepárense que estamos por regresar a las aventuras.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands was released in 2020, created by Pendleton Ward, directed by Adam Muto and produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Frederator Studios, has 4 episodes of approximately 1 hour each. This miniseries brings back the adventures of different characters from the original story, each chapter has its own plot starring different characters at different times and scenarios of the already known post-apocalyptic land of Ooo.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands fue estrenada en 2020, creada por Pendleton Ward, dirigida por Adam Muto y producida por Cartoon Network Studios y Frederator Studios, cuenta con 4 episodios de 1 hora aproximadamente cada uno. Esta miniserie trae de vuelta las aventuras de diferentes personajes de la historio original, cada capítulo posee su propia trama protagonizada por personajes diferentes en momentos y escenarios diferentes de la ya conocida tierra pos apocalíptica de Ooo.

Each chapter has one or more protagonists who do not appear in the other episodes, they make use of the characterization that had already been given in the series being that the chapter that focuses them is used to deepen them, the protagonists are: Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, Finn and Jake, BMO and Peppermint Butler. In turn, new characters are added to continue expanding the world of Adventure Time.
Cada capítulo posee uno o varios protagonistas que no aparecen en los demás episodios, los mismos hacen uso de la caracterización que ya se les había dado en la serie siendo que el capítulo que los enfoca es utilizado para profundizar en los mismos, los protagonistas son: Princess Bubblegum y Marceline, Finn y Jake, BMO y Peppermint Butler. A su vez se agregan personajes nuevos para seguir expandiendo el mundo de Hora de Aventura.
The soundtrack is magnificent since it keeps up with what the original series established bringing an ideal accompaniment for the new adventures. The animation is exactly the same as in the original series by being dynamic and presenting backgrounds very consistent with the approach that each of the chapters has.
La banda sonora es magnífica puesto que se mantiene a la altura de lo que estableció la serie original trayendo un acompañamiento ideal para las nuevas aventuras. La animación es exactamente igual que en la serie original al mostrarse dinámica y presentando fondos muy acordes con el enfoque que posee cada uno de los capítulos.
Each chapter achieves a very different world construction since they all take place in totally different environments, manages to transport the viewer to each new environment giving the right explanations to perfectly understand the place where the different plots are developed; in turn, these different scenarios seek to generate a background for the different eras of the land of Ooo that had not been explored so far and are simply interesting.
Cada capítulo logra una construcción de mundo muy diferente puesto que todos se desarrollan en ambientes totalmente distintos, logra transportar al espectador a cada nuevo entorno dando las justas explicaciones para entender perfectamente el sitio en el que se desarrollan las diferentes tramas; a su vez estos diferentes escenarios buscan generar un trasfondo para las diferentes épocas de la tierra de Ooo que no habían sido explorados hasta el momento y resultan sencillamente interesantes.
The plot of each chapter is independent and self-conclusive, which is why each of them has its own objective and message; all the chapters without exception are a maelstrom of emotions, however the truth of the case is that some are much more emotional than others because of the subject they deal with. Among the central themes of the chapters are super interesting things such as: Death, building a good relationship forgetting mistakes, building your own path to achieve goals and the importance of asserting your own opinion. The best thing about the different chapters is that they feel fresh by bringing content never before touched in the original series so they are simply fantastic.
La trama de cada capítulo es independiente y autoconclusiva, por ello es que cada uno de ellos posee su propio objetivo y mensaje; todos los capítulos sin excepción son una vorágine de emociones, sin embargo lo cierto del caso es que algunos son mucho más emotivos que otros por el tema que tratan. Dentro de los temas centrales de los capítulos están cosas súper interesantes como: La muerte, construir una buena relación de pareja olvidando los errores, construir un camino propio para alcanzar las metas y la importancia de hacer valer la opinión propia. Lo mejor de los diferentes capítulos es que se sienten frescos al traer contenido nunca antes tocado en la serie original por lo que son sencillamente fantásticos.
Each character obtains its own development and even in some cases achieve a catharsis, the stories raised seek to deepen the personality of each of its protagonists since each chapter has the objective of making the character evolve and give them a growth. As I mentioned in the plot there are chapters that are better developed than others and this is because the evolution of the characters feels much more meaningful and important.
Cada personaje obtiene su propio desarrollo e incluso en algunos casos logran una catarsis, las historias planteadas buscan profundizar la personalidad de cada uno de sus protagonistas puesto que cada capítulo tiene el objetivo de hacer evolucionar al personaje y darles un crecimiento. Como mencione en la trama existen capítulos que son mejor desarrollados que otros y esto se debe a que la evolución de los personajes se siente mucho más significativa e importante.
Adventure time: Distand lands is a miniseries that lives up to the original series by bringing new stories that further extend the wonderful adventure hour universe by bringing back stories and further developing the series' most iconic characters. That is why it deserves 5.5 stars out of 7, an excellent miniseries that touches on serious and very adult themes in the cartoonish way in the pure style of adventure time.
Adventure time: Distand lands es una miniserie que le hace honor a la serie original al traer nuevas historias que extienden aún más el maravilloso universo de hora de aventura trayendo de nuevo historias y desarrollando aún más a los personajes más icónicos de la serie. Por ello merece 5,5 estrellas de 7, una miniserie excelente que toca temas serios y muy adultos de la forma caricaturesca al puro estilo de hora de aventura.
