Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, I have always considered the Harry Potter films as films that present a wonderful and fantastic world that totally wastes by giving it a very reduced exposure, so when I learn of the existence of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" I am excited since it presents a totally different plot that allows you to know the world better magical as the non-magical. Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, siempre he considerado las películas de Harry Potter como unas cintas que presentan un mundo maravilloso y fantástico que desaprovecha totalmente al darle una exposición muy reducida, por ello cuando me entere de la existencia de “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” me emocione puesto que presenta una trama totalmente diferente que permite conocer mejor tanto al mundo mágico como el no mágico. Sin más que agregar alisten sus varitas puesto que estamos por comenzar.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released in 2016, directed by David Yates and produced by Heyday Films, has a duration of 2 hours and 13 minutes. It is a fantasy and action film, the story revolves around Newt Scamander a researcher of various magical creatures, and, who in turn seeks to protect and inform about them, his research leads him to embark on a journey to New York. Unfortunately he stumbles upon a city full of conflict that has problems with groups trying to reveal the existence of wizards and a strange creature that is wreaking havoc, the knowledge and different creatures that accompany Scamander will be crucial to return tranquility to the city.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them fue estrenada en 2016, dirigida por David Yates y producida por Heyday Films, posee una duración 2 horas y 13 minutos. Es una cinta de fantasía y acción, la historia gira entorno a Newt Scamander un investigador de diversas criaturas mágicas, y, que a su vez busca protegerlas e informar acerca de ellas, su investigación lo lleva a embarcarse en un viaje hasta New York. Desafortunadamente se topa con una ciudad llena de conflicto que tiene problemas con grupos que intentan develar la existencia de los magos y una criatura extraña que se encuentra causando estragos, los conocimientos y las diferentes criaturas que acompañan a Scamander serán cruciales para devolverle la tranquilidad a la ciudad.

The protagonists despite presenting themselves with different jobs and skills end up being relegated to being simple acquaintances little detailed: Scamander knows many things about different creatures but little data is known about him, Porpentina Tina only tries to claim herself as an aurora but it happens exactly the same as with Scamander, Queenie Goldstein Tina's sister only defines her ability to read the mind, finally this Jacob Kowalski who was totally alien to the world of magic but for different situations was involved and almost forced to collaborate with the other characters, without a doubt this is the most interesting and complete character since different facets of this are shown that range from his amazement and fear due to everything magical that he begins to know to his willingness to help as much as possible despite to have considerably fewer skills than their new friends.
Los protagonistas pese a presentarse con diferentes trabajos y habilidades terminan quedando relegados a ser simples conocidos poco detallados: Scamander sabe muchas cosas sobre diferentes criaturas pero se saben escasos datos sobre él, Porpentina Tina solo trata de reivindicarse como aurora pero pasa exactamente lo mismo que con Scamander, Queenie Goldstein la hermana de Tina solo la define su habilidad de leer la mente, por último esta Jacob Kowalski quién era totalmente ajeno al mundo de la magia pero por diferentes situaciones se vio involucrado y casi obligado a colaborar con los demás personajes, sin duda alguna este es el personaje más interesante y completo puesto que se muestran diferentes facetas de este que van desde su asombro y miedo debido a todo lo mágico que empieza a conocer hasta su voluntad de ayudar en todo lo posible pese a tener considerablemente menos habilidades que sus nuevos amigos.
The soundtrack is quite pleasant and gives that fanciful touch to the tape, it manages to provide the perfect accompaniment to generate the magical atmosphere in which the film is wrapped.
La banda sonora es bastante agradable y le da ese toque fantasioso a la cinta, logra proporcionar el acompañamiento perfecto para generar el ambiente mágico en el que se encuentra envuelta la cinta.
The world building feels very complete due to the different elements that are shown: The first thing it establishes is a blurred line between the magical world and that of the Muggles (People who do not do magic for those who are not very knowledgeable about this universe jajaja) presenting that difficulty to keep the magic hidden in order to avoid a colossal conflict between the parties; as a second strong point are the exploration that presents the magical world, from delving a little into the ministry of magic to presenting amazing creatures never seen before and worthy of being part of this fantasy; Last but not least there are the different conflicts present in the magical world that create tension between all the witches and wizards, being palpable that paranoia because of the confrontations between the different sides, being that all that has repercussions in the world of the Muggles. All this that I have just described constitutes the extremely complete and interesting world that poses fantastic animals being that it keeps the viewer extremely attentive so as not to miss any detail about the operation of the magical world.
La construcción de mundo se siente muy completa debido a los diferentes elementos que son mostrados: Lo primero que establece es una línea difusa entre el mundo mágico y el de los muggles (Personas que no hacen magia para aquellos que no son muy conocedores de este universo jajaja) presentando esa dificultad por mantener la magia oculta para poder evitar un conflicto colosal entre las partes; como segundo punto fuerte se tienen la exploración que presenta el mundo mágico, desde profundizar un poco en el ministerio de magia hasta presentar criaturas alucinantes nunca antes vistas y dignas de formar parte de esta fantasía; Por último pero no menos importante se tienen los diferentes conflictos presentes en el mundo mágico que crean tensión entre todas las brujas y magos, siendo palpable esa paranoia a causa de los enfrentamientos entre los diferentes bandos, siendo que todo eso tiene repercusiones en el mundo de los muggles. Todo esto que les acabo de describir constituye el mundo sumamente completo e interesante que plantea animales fantásticos siendo que mantiene al espectador sumamente atento para no perderse ningún detalle sobre el funcionamiento del mundo mágico.
The plot from the beginning feels something worthless and a mere entertainment that is staged that only aspire to be the preamble to something much more interesting that will be taken up later by a sequel. But it is worth asking, on what basis do I say this? The answer is simple, the main conflict is produced due to an imbecile confusion that unleashes chaos, while the protagonists solve this conflict (Produced by themselves it should be noted) other events of greater importance are developed in parallel that easily eclipse the one produced by the protagonists. Another element that also causes the plot to be somewhat inconsequential is the fact that there is a lack of a villain or antagonist, you have a monster causing chaos there without major complexity and an extremely powerful wizard who is supposedly wreaking havoc but this is known because it is mentioned by some characters since it is not fully shown at any time. The plot can be summarized as well mentioned previously as an introduction to something much more interesting but the way in which it is carried out is something moderately tedious to see by only reducing to the fact of solving provoked problems.
La trama desde el vamos se siente algo sin mucho valor y un mero entretenimiento que es puesto en escena que solamente aspiran a ser el preámbulo para algo mucho más interesante que será retomado más adelante por una secuela. Pero cabe preguntarse ¿En qué me baso para decir esto? La respuesta es sencilla, el conflicto principal es producido debido a una confusión imbécil que desata un caos, mientras los protagonistas solucionan dicho conflicto (Producido por ellos mismo cabe destacar) se va desarrollando paralelamente otros sucesos de mayor importancia que eclipsan fácilmente al producido por los protagonistas. Otro elemento que también provoca que la trama sea algo intrascendente es el hecho de que hay carencia de un villano o antagonista, se tiene a un monstruo causando caos por allí sin mayor complejidad y a un mago sumamente poderoso que supuestamente está causando estragos pero se sabe de esto debido a que es mencionado por algunos personajes puesto que no es mostrado plenamente en ningún momento. La trama puede ser resumida como bien mencione previamente como una introducción para algo mucho más interesante pero la forma en la que es llevada a cabo resulta algo medianamente tedioso de ver al solo reducirse al hecho de resolver problemas provocados.

Cabe destacar que ningún personaje presenta ninguna clase de desarrollo ni algo mínimamente parecido, a su vez las caracterizaciones quedan totalmente ausentes puesto que los personajes solo son definidos por una sola cosa bien sea por sus conocimientos, habilidades particulares u ocupaciones, siendo muy pocos los datos que se dan de estos como para llegar a conocerlos más allá de aquello que los hace útiles para la trama. Es incluso irónico que aquel que no posee nada en particular sea el que se robe el show y con quién más se simpatice debido a su caracterización simple pero efectiva.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a film that fulfills its mission and is to expand and use all the potential wasted by its distant cousin "Harry Potter" unfortunately that is the only remarkable thing it does since the rest of the sections although they are not a disaster if they present notorious deficiencies and a wide margin to improve. That is why it deserves a rating of 2.5 stars out of 7, a good idea that ends up making many silly mistakes that accumulate and end up hurting it in an overly bad way.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them es una cinta que cumple su cometido y es el de ampliar y utilizar todo el potencial desperdiciado por su prima lejana "Harry Potter" desgraciadamente eso es lo único destacable que hace puesto que el resto de apartados si bien no son un desastre si presentan notorias carencias y un amplio margen para mejorar. Es por ello que merece una calificación de 2.5 estrellas de 7, una idea buena que terminar por cometer muchos errores tontos que se acumulan y terminan perjudicándola de sobre manera.
