La duración podrá parecer exagerada, sin embargo esta me parece un acierto, lo anterior se fundamenta en el hecho de que utiliza gran parte de su tiempo en su ambientación, lo que es un acierto, si bien su premisa es algo simple se le perdona debido a otros factores en los que se destaca.

The characters are mostly interesting and with a well-done characterization, I would like to say something more but there is not much to say individually, outside of what was previously mentioned, the protagonist is a little more complex although nothing extraordinary, it is the minimum that should be According to his role, his change of perspective is not as shocking as the film wants you to see, it does not mean that it is disastrous but it is not extraordinary either. The villain is as simplistic as you can expect, he does things and so on, but other than that there is nothing to highlight, it would have been interesting if he showed some patriotism and interest in his planet in order to justify his actions, however this never happens. I will make a special mention for the Na'vi in general because they as a collective excellently develop their ideals and principles, even to the point that empathy can be generated for their pain and suffering when seeing their home devastated.
Los personajes son en su mayoría interesantes y con una caracterización bien lograda, me gustaría decir algo más pero no hay mucho que decir individualmente, fuera de lo previamente mencionado, el protagonista es un poco más complejo aunque nada extraordinario, es lo mínimo que debe ser conforme a su rol, su cambio de perspectiva no es tan impactante como el filme te quiere hacer ver, no quiere decir que sea nefasto pero tampoco extraordinario. El villano es todo lo simplista que puedas esperar, hace cosas y demás, pero fuera de ello no hay nada que destacar, hubiese sido interesante que mostrase cierto patriotismo e interés por su planeta a fin de justificar sus acciones, no obstante esto nunca pasa. Haré una mención especial para los Na'vi en general debido a que estos como colectivo desarrollan excelentemente sus ideales y principios, incluso al punto de que se puede generar empatía por su dolor y sufrimiento al ver devastado su hogar.
Avatar is a film with an amazing setting that can teach about the basic needs when creating a world different from ours, its narrative and characters are not up to par in that section but neither do they result in something disastrous and horrible, they are in the border between good and excellent, having some points that could be improved. Avatar es un filme con una ambientación alucinante que puede dar cátedra sobre las necesidades básicas a la hora de crear un mundo diferente al nuestro, su narrativa y personajes no están a la altura de ese apartado pero tampoco resultan en algo nefasto y horrible, están en la frontera entre lo bueno y lo excelente, teniendo algunos puntos mejorables. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 4.5 estrellas de 7, una película que te dejará con la boca abierta debido a todas las formas de vida interesante que alberga, y, sin lugar a dudas, me dejó con ganas de ver su secuela.
