News events that end up in court are an excellent starting point for making a film. And "The Burial", a legal movie released on Prime Video last October 13th, is an excellent example of this. The film is based on an article published in 1999 in "The New Yorker" written by Jonathan Harr, the American writer famous for having written "A civil action"
which I will tell you about in the next post. The article talks about it of the case brought by a small businessman from Biloxi, Mississippi named Jeremiah O'Keefe, against Ray Loewen, a billionaire entrepreneur at the head of a large chain of Canadian and American funeral homes... I'm not going to tell you the plot because in my opinion it would ruin your viewing of the film, I'll just tell you what I think: two actors with great scenic impact and a compelling plot.
I would add that when justice manages to triumph it is always a joy for me!!! Good life!!

I fatti di cronaca che finiscono in tribunale sono un ottimo punto di partenza per realizzare un film. E "The Burial", film legale uscito su Prime Video lo scorso 13 ottobre, ne è un ottimo esempio. Il film è tratto da un articolo pubblicato nel 1999 su “The New Yorker” scritto da Jonathan Harr, lo scrittore americano famoso per aver scritto “A civil action” di cui vi parlerò nel prossimo post. L'articolo parla della causa intentata da un piccolo imprenditore di Biloxi, Mississippi, di nome Jeremiah O'Keefe, contro Ray Loewen, un imprenditore miliardario a capo di una grande catena di pompe funebri canadesi e americane... Non vi racconterò la trama perché secondo me vi rovinerebbe la visione del film, vi dirò solo quello che penso: due attori di grande impatto scenico e una trama avvincente. Aggiungo che quando la giustizia riesce a trionfare per me è sempre una gioia!!! Bella vita!!
