I was about 34 years late to see it, since it was released in 1988, but having arrived those years late did not prevent me to enjoy it and end up loving it as I did, in fact if I analyze it from another point of view, it allows me to admire it more, because if we move that movie to today you would realize that it would have absolutely nothing! to envy to any of the truly good dramatic productions that we have today.
When I finished watching this movie, looking for exactly how to write the names to make this review, since it is an Italian movie and the names are somewhat complicated to write, I found out that it was the winner of many film awards among which are: "The Grand Special Jury Grand Prix" at the Cannes Film Festival, "Best Foreign Film" at the Oscar, Golden Globes, BAFTA and other European awards, not only as best film, but also as best actors, best screenplay, editing, soundtrack, etc, etc.
It has 2 versions, one that was not very well accepted in Italy when it was released with 155 minutes in length, and a short version of 123 minutes that helped it to have more international success. ¡Saludos querida comunidad de espectadores del cine! El dÃa de hoy les traigo la reseña de una de las pelÃculas más representativas del cine que he visto, ¡perdón para los conocedores de los clásicos de cine! y es que llegué unos 34 años tarde a verla =/, ya que fue estrenada en 1988, pero el haber llegado esos años tarde no me impidió disfrutarla y terminar amándola como lo hice, de hecho si lo analizo desde otro punto de vista, me permite admirarla más, porque si trasladamos esa pelÃcula a la actualidad ustedes se darÃan cuenta de que no tendrÃa absolutamente ¡nada! que envidiarle a ninguna de las verdaderamente buenas producciones dramáticas que tenemos hoy en dÃa.
Cuando terminé de ver esta pelÃcula, buscando sobre como se escriben exactamente los nombres para hacer esta review, ya que es una pelÃcula italiana y los nombres son algo complicado de escribir, me conseguà con que fue la ganadora de muchÃsimos premios de cine entre los que están: "El Gran Premio Especial del Jurado" en el Festival de Cannes, "Mejor pelÃcula extranjera" en los premios Óscar, Golden Globes, BAFTA y otros premios europeos más, no solo como mejor pelÃcula, sino también como mejores actores, mejor guión, montaje, banda sonora, etc, etc.
Cuenta con 2 versiones una que no tuvo mucha aceptabilidad en Italia cuando fue estrenada de 155 minutos y una versión corta de 123 minutos que fue la que la ayudó a tener más éxito internacional, esto lo pueden leer AQUI gracias a nuestro ¡buen amigo Wikipedia! pero gracia a la persona que me la recomendó yo ya sabÃa este último dato y me busque esas partes extendidas para verlas y créanme ustedes ¡NECESITAN! verla con esas partes que le fueron retiradas a la versión original, asà que si la van a ver, por favor busquenlas, les doy el dato están en youtube, de verdad no entiendo a esa gente que no le gustó esa versión original 🤔, pero bueh, la gente y sus cosas 😒 ¡ya saben!
The movie is about the life of Salvatore popularly known as "Totó" who lives in a small town in Italy called Giancaldo with his mom and younger sister, his dad was drafted to fight in the war so Toto basically grows up without a father figure. Toto is an altar boy in the church and one day when he finishes his work as an altar boy, as a curious child he follows his father to see what he does next and realizes that the father sees giant scenes projected on a wall coming from a booth, in his free time and gives instructions to a person to remove some scenes that are projected.
La pelÃcula trata sobre la vida de Salvatore conocido popularmente como "Toto" quien vive en un pueblito en Italia llamado "Giancaldo" junto a su mamá y su hermana menor, su papá fue reclutado para pelear en la guerra por lo que Toto básicamente crece sin una figura paterna. Toto es un monaguillo de la iglesia y un dÃa cuando termina su trabajo de monaguillo, como niño curioso que es, sigue al padre para ver lo que realiza después y se da cuenta de que el padre ve escenas gigantes que se proyectan sobre una pared provenientes de una cabina en sus tiempos libres, y le da indicaciones a una persona para que elimine algunas escenas que se proyectan.

The film is about how Toto's life revolves around cinema, both in his childhood, his youth and his adulthood and how his friendship with Alfredo ends up being so important to him that he ends up becoming practically a father to him. La pelÃcula transcurre entonces en cómo gira la vida de Toto alrededor del cine, tanto en su infancia, su juventud y su adultez y cómo esa amistad con Alfredo termina siendo tan importante para él que termina convirtiéndose en prácticamente un padre para él. Como siempre mis queridos #hivers no le puedo contar más de la pelÃcula porque, aun cuando ya tiene bastante de estrenada y ya a este punto no serÃa un Spoiler, yo quiero que la vean, y si les digo más de ella no lo van hacer; solo debes saber que si eres amante del cine tú ¡DEBES! ver esta pelÃcula porque vas a quedar enamorada de ella ¡para toda la vida! Whenever I see this kind of movies I always ask myself: How on earth did I live my life all this time without having seen these works of art before? 🙃 Then I remember that I really don't know anything about cinema, nor have I ever known anything about it and I am calm because I didn't have anyone to teach me about this art and it wasn't my fault, but then I am filled with rage again when I think about the amount of insignificant things they teach us in schools when we are young, instead of teaching us to truly admire audiovisual arts like this that are so fruitful by themselves and that really give real life learning, not that amount of unnecessary things they teach us in schools 😤, but well, now that I have finished my download on school education 😒, I will continue my analysis separately, starting with the plot...
Siempre que veo este tipo de pelÃculas me pregunto: ¿Cómo rayos es que vivà mi vida durante todo este tiempo sin haber visto estas obras de arte antes? 🙃 Luego recuerdo que realmente yo no sé nada de cine, ni nunca lo he sabido y me quedo tranquila porque tampoco tuve a nadie para enseñarme sobre este arte y no fue mi culpa, pero luego vuelvo a llenarme de rabia al pensar en la cantidad de cosas insignificantes que nos enseñan en los colegios cuando somos jóvenes, en vez de enseñarnos a admirar verdaderamente las artes audiovisuales como esta que son tan fructÃferas por sà solas, que realmente dan verdaderos aprendizajes de vida, y no esa cantidad de cosas innecesarias que nos enseñan en los colegios 😤, pero bueno, terminada mi descarga sobre la educación escolar 😒, prosigo con mi análisis por partes como siempre lo hago, empezando por la trama…
This film not only talks about the friendship between two people, but also about bridging the generation gap between completely distant ages that are united by admiration for one thing, nor does it only talk about the feeling of paternity that you can develop for someone who gives you the gift of life and who does not necessarily have to be linked to you by blood ties.
This film goes far beyond teaching you about the way a child grows up with his family when they lose their father figure as a result of something as horrific as war and how, as a consequence of it, people from different towns end up so close that basically everyone is family, maybe you lost a parent and others lost a child or another relative, but you have many others looking out for you and your family, because the horror of war left them that, sharing and caring for everyone in order to survive.
Esta pelÃcula no solo habla sobre la amistad entre 2 personas, sino, además, sobre la disminución de la brecha generacional entre edades completamente distantes que se unen por la admiración hacÃa una cosa, ni tampoco solo habla del sentimiento de paternidad que puedes desarrollar por alguien que te regala la vida y que no necesariamente tiene que estar unido a ti por lazos de sangre.
Esta pelÃcula va mucho más allá de enseñarte sobre la forma de crecimiento de un niño con su familia cuando pierden a su figura paterna producto de algo tan horroroso como es la guerra y de cómo, por consecuencia de ella, las personas de los pueblos terminan tan unidos que básicamente todos son familia, tal vez perdiste a un padre y otros perdieron a un hijo o a otro familiar, pero tienes a otros muchos al pendientes de ti y de tu familia, porque el horror de la guerra les dejó el mejor aprendizaje, el compartir y el preocuparse todos por todos para poder sobrevivir.

In this film you not only see a child watching movies, but you see how cinema is much more than distraction and admiring beautiful people and places, it is more than just a sequence of scenes with characters in it that make you feel all the emotions they want to express, cinema is a way of learning, a way to unite social groups, age groups, and above all, it is a form of love!
Because yes, if you ask me what is the most important thing that the film leaves you with, I would tell you without thinking that it is the message about love, about how that feeling can be manifested by things, by moments or by places that we can perceive through any of the senses, because love is not only a feeling between two people. We can come to love something as much as a living being and that is what both Alfredo and Toto did, they loved cinema with their hearts and souls!
Pero más allá de esto que les digo arriba, está pelÃcula trata sobre esa hermosa forma de expresión que resaltamos en esta comunidad y que llamamos Cine, ¡sÃ! asà mismo, está es una pelÃcula que te muestra el surgimiento y la evolución del cine hasta el que tenemos casi en la actualidad, y digo "casi" porque fue estrenada hace 34 años cuanso aún no existÃa la automatización que tenemos hoy en dÃa y otro montón de cosas más.
En este film no solo ves a un niño viendo pelÃculas, si no ves cómo el cine es mucho más que distracción y admirar bonitos personales y lugares, es más allá que solo una secuencia de escenas con personajes en ella que te hacen sentir todas las emociones que ellos quieren expresar, el cine es un sin fin de cosas, es una forma de aprendizaje, una forma de unir grupos sociales, etarios, y por sobre todas las cosas ¡es una forma de amor!
Porque sÃ, si ustedes me preguntan sobre qué es lo más importante que te deja la pelÃcula te dirÃa sin pensar que es el mensaje sobre el amor, sobre cómo se puede manifestar ese sentimiento por cosas, por momentos o por lugares que podemos percibir a través de cualquiera de los sentidos, porque el amor no es solo un sentimiento entre dos personas. Nosotros podemos llegar a amar algo tanto como a un ser vivo y eso es lo que hacÃan tanto Alfredo como Toto ¡amaban el cine con el alma y el corazón!
The film begins as a projection of the memories of Toto's life, we can see how memory is exactly that, a sequence of images, scenes and characters and, if you analyze it well, memory acts just like a movie, but where you were the protagonist; I liked that too much, that its director Giuseppe Tornatore, who was its director and screenwriter, will use that resource that, for me, is a metaphor about what cinema means and really how useful and important it can be.
Toto remembers each stage of his life and sees them being projected in his memory as if it were a film projection, he even remembers the feeling he experienced every time he saw each of those films, what he learned from them, what he learned through Alfredo from them and what they generated in him and in all the people of the town, and that is exactly what memory uses to know what to keep, what really had significance for the person, that is what he will store.
That is exactly where the audiovisual arts come in to help, cinema, TV, and visual arts such as photography, all of them serve us for that, to help our memory to try to never forget. Because this has been one of the objectives of humanity for a long time, to try to extend its memory as much as possible so as not to overlook important events in its life.
That is why he stressed the importance of cinema, because cinema is more than a simple means of amusement and entertainment, it is an invaluable resource, but sadly, it is not given all the use it should be given, because if it were given, believe me it would be wonderful! that's why besides emphasizing Toto's experiences in the film, I highlight the effect that this place called "Cinema Paradiso"* had on the people, because I saw the most beautiful images of the film with all the people enjoying watching the projections and feeling all the emotions that were shown through the projections.
Of course, we can not leave aside the central story, the main characters, and the great learning of self-improvement, growth in adversity and the importance of forming friendships that end up being for us more than a family so I will do the same analysis of the characters in detail and the most important messages that I emphasize the film, as I always do.
La pelÃcula comienza como una proyección de los recuerdos de la vida de Toto, podemos ver como la memoria es exactamente eso, una secuencia de imágenes, escenas y personajes y, si lo analizas bien, la memoria actúa igual que una pelÃcula, pero donde tú fuiste el protagonista; me gustó demasiado eso, que Giuseppe Tornatore, quien fue su director y guionista, usarán ese recurso que, para mÃ, es una metáfora sobre lo que significa el cine y realmente lo útil e importante que puede llegar a ser.
Toto recuerda cada etapa de su vida y las va viendo proyectarse en su memoria como si fuera una proyección fÃlmica, incluso recuerda el sentimiento que vivió cada vez que veÃa cada una de esas pelÃculas, lo que aprendió de ellas, lo que aprendió a través de Alfredo de ellas, lo que generaban en él, en toda la gente del pueblo, y es ¡justo eso! lo que utiliza la memoria para saber que debe guardar, lo que realmente tuvo significancia para la persona, eso es lo que ella almacenará.
Justamente ahà es donde entran las artes audiovisuales para ayudar, el cine, la tv, y las visuales como la fotografÃa, la pintura etc, todas ellas nos sirven para eso, para ayudar a nuestra memoria a tratar de no olvidar nunca. Porque este ha sido uno de los objetivos durante largo tiempo de la humanidad, tratar de extender su memoria lo mayor posible para no dejar pasar por alto hechos importantes en su vida.
Por eso recalco la importancia del cine que se muestra a través de este film, porque el cine es más que un simple medio de diversión y esparcimiento, es un recurso ¡invaluable! pero que, tristemente, no se le da todo el uso que se le deberÃa dar, porque si se le diera créanme que ¡serÃa maravilloso!, por eso además de recalcar las vivencias de Toto en el film, yo resalto el efecto que tenÃa ese lugar llamado "Cinema Paradiso" en la gente, porque las imágenes más hermosas de la pelÃcula las vi con toda la gente disfrutando viendo las proyecciones y sintiendo todas las emociones que mostraban a través de esas pelÃculas que veÃan.
Por supuesto, no podemos dejar de lado la historia central, los personajes principales, y el gran aprendizaje de superación personal, de crecimiento en la adversidad y de la importancia de formación de amistades que terminan siendo para nosotros más que una familia, por eso les haré igual un análisis de los personajes de forma detallada y los mensajes más importantes que recalco del film, como siempre lo hago.
Salvatore Di Vita (Salvatore Cascio - Marco Leonardi - Jacques Perrin)
Toto, as he is called by all the inhabitants of the village, is a 6 years old boy who grows up in a family without a father figure because of the war, but that does not make his childhood different from the others, he is brave, clever, smart, innocent, in need of knowledge, and above all very dreamy, with a unique imagination that expands, even more, with the many films he sees in the "Cinema Paradiso "; Toto has no filters, he watches movies and learns languages that are not for his age, but he knows not to use them, he is only exposed to knowledge that is all around him, but he sees it mainly through images projected on a wall.
As he advances Toto seems to live through those images, he focuses his life completely on that, in parallel while he is educated at school, he is fulfilling his dream which is to learn to manipulate the film reels and project them as Alfredo did, his life is in that Cinema, in those walls of that cabin, he does not know what is beyond, only what he has seen through those images in those long reels since he was a child.
When Toto becomes a teenager he does not imagine a life different from the one he has had so far, but he begins to go through several stages where he develops interest in other things, such as love, but he never abandons his love for cinema, and that is when he himself projects the movies in the "Cinema Paradiso", Alfredo already considers Toto as a son to him and wants the best for him so, among his many teachings throughout his life, he tells him that it is time to fly, to live his own life and not only live through those images he saw in the cinema.
Sadly I don't know much, if anything, about Italian cinema, or its actors, but I must stress that both the performance of the actor who played Toto as a child, as a teenager and as an adult were extraordinary! I loved them all and I assume that they were great actors at the time, or at least after her, they were.
Toto como lo llaman todos los habitantes del pueblo, es un niño de 6 años, que crece en el seno de una familia sin una figura paterna producto de la guerra, sin embargo eso no hace que su infancia sea diferente a la de los demás, es valiente, astuto, listo, inocente, con mucha necesidad de conocimiento, y sobre todo muy soñador, con una imaginación única que se amplÃa, aún más, con las múltiples pelÃculas que ve en el "Cinema Paradiso"; Toto no tiene filtros, ve pelÃculas y aprende lenguajes que no son para su edad, pero sabe que no debe usarlos, solo está expuesto a un conocimiento que igual está en su alrededor, pero que lo ve principalmente a través de unas imágenes que se proyectan en una pared.
A medida que avanza Toto pareciera vivir a través de esas imágenes, centra su vida por completo en eso, paralelamente mientras se educa en la escuela, él va cumpliendo su sueño que es aprender a manipular los carretes de pelÃculas y proyectarlas como hacÃa Alfredo, su vida está en ese Cinema, en esas paredes de esa cabina, él no sabe que hay más allá, sólo lo que ha visto a través de esas imágenes en esos largos carretes desde que era pequeño.
Cuando Toto se vuelve adolescente no imagina una vida distinta a esa que ha tenido hasta ahora, pero como todo ser humano, empieza a pasar por varias etapas en donde desarrolla interés por otras, cosas como el amor de pareja, aun asà no abandona nunca su amor por el cine, y es cuando él mismo proyecta las pelÃculas en el "Cinema Paradiso", Alfredo ya considera a Toto como un hijo para él y quiere lo mejor para él por lo que, entre sus muchas enseñanzas a lo largo de su vida, le dice que es momento de volar, de vivir su propia vida y no solo vivir a través de esas imágenes que veÃa en el cine.
Tristemente no sé mucho, por no decir nada, de cine italiano, ni de sus actores, pero debo recalcar que tanto la actuación del actor que hizo de Toto cuando era niño, como cuando era adolescente y adulto fueron ¡extraordinarias! Las amé todas y me supongo que eran grandes actores en la época, o que por lo menos después de ella, asà lo fueron.
Alfredo (Philippe Noiret)
He is a man of about 60 years old when he meets Toto, a loner, he has dedicated almost 30 years of his life to work in that Cinema, enclosed in those walls of the booth from where the films are projected. At first it bothers him a little to have Toto hanging around everywhere 😅, but as time goes by Alfredo practically becomes his father figure and warns him that the life he has lived is not the best because he has to be there all the time locked up working, while the others enjoy the projections on the other side of those walls.
While Toto is falling more and more in love with the films, Alfredo on the other hand is teaching him more, because he dreams for him a different world than the one he has always lived in, as most parents do with their children, he teaches him about art, talks to him about what he has learned in the films with his phrases, but at the same time he asks him to live his own life and not to become what he is.
Alfredo is a beautiful character from beginning to end, a man used to loneliness, but who practically adopts a child and gives him all the love and learning that a child can require from a father, I absolutely loved the character! and the actor did it masterful!
Es un hombre de unos aproximadamente 60 años cuando conoce a Toto, solitario, ha dedicado casi 30 años de su vida a trabajar en ese Cinema, encerrado en esas paredes de la cabina desde donde se proyectan los films. Al comienzo le molesta un poco tener a Toto rondando por todos lados 😅, pero a medida que pasa el tiempo Alfredo se convierte prácticamente en su figura paterna y le advierte que la vida que él ha vivido no es la mejor, porque debe estar ahà todo el tiempo encerrado trabajando mientras los demás disfrutan las proyecciones del otro lado de esas paredes.
Mientras Toto se va enamorando cada vez más de los films, Alfredo por otro lado va dándole más enseñanzas, porque sueña para él un mundo distinto al que él vivió desde siempre, como la mayorÃa de los padres con sus hijos, le enseña sobre el arte, le habla sobre lo que ha aprendido en las pelÃculas con sus frases, pero a la vez le pide que viva su propia vida y que no se convierta en lo que él es.
Alfredo es un personaje hermoso de principio a fin, un hombre acostumbrado a la soledad, pero que prácticamente adopta a un niño y le da todo el amor y aprendizaje que un niño puede requerir de un padre ¡amé el personaje totalmente! y el actor lo hizo ¡magistral!
Father Adelfio (Leo Trieste)
In a country where religion is as important as in Italy and what religion dictates is that much of what the human being wants or does is a sin, Father Adelfio is part of one of its representatives, he is a good person, but he does the job he should as a representative of the Catholic Church, that is to keep people away from anything that "induces sin" according to the laws of religion and according to the criteria for that time.
Father Adelfio is not only the father of the town, but he is in charge of verifying the films before they are shown in the cinema in order to determine which scenes can be seen by the people; this character is the one I liked the most, he tries to instill good principles to the people, trying to educate Toto through religion, but Toto, as the witty child he is, is anything but what he wants him to be 😅. Much of the comedy touch of the whole movie involves Father Aldelfio, because instead of inducing respect, Toto mocks him and plays with his patience and that, believe me, is very funny to watch ðŸ¤.
En un paÃs donde la religión es tan importante como en Italia y lo que dicta la religión es que gran parte de lo que desea o hace el ser humano es un pecado, el padre Adelfio forma parte de sus representantes, es una buena persona, pero cumple el trabajo que debe como representante de la iglesia católica, es decir, mantener a las personas lejos de cualquier cosa que "induzca al pecado" según las leyes de la religión y según los criterios para esa época.
El padre Adelfio no solo es el padre del pueblo, sino que se encarga de verificar los films antes de que sean proyectados en el cinema para poder determinar que escenas pueden llegar a ser vistas por la gente; este personaje es de los que más me gustó, va tratando de inculcar buenos principios a la gente, tratando de educar también a Toto a través de la religión, pero Toto, como niño ocurrente que es, es todo menos lo que él quiere que sea 😅. En gran parte del toque de comedia de toda la pelÃcula está involucrado el padre Aldelfio, ya que en vez de inducir respeto, Toto se burla de él y juega con su paciencia y eso ¡créanme, es muy cómico de ver!ðŸ¤.
MarÃa Di Vita (Antonella Attili - Pupella Maggio)
She is Toto's mother, like any woman who has to be a father and a mother at the same time, she doesn't have it easy, her work is doubled and, in addition, she has a son who makes her life more difficult, who only wants to live in a movie theater, she gives him money to buy food for the house, and Toto spends it at the movies, She sends him somewhere and Toto goes to the movies 🤣🤣, and so, if you analyze it well, these are things that any child would do, but for a woman alone at that time, with two small children and with a husband she lost in the war, whose loss she still does not get over, it is a very difficult situation.
However, Doña MarÃa, as the townspeople tell her, does what she can, she ends up accepting the desires she saw in her son since he was a child, so she lets him be happy, because she understands that he must follow her will and, besides, Toto becomes an educated, studious, hardworking and applied teenager, so she has nothing to reproach him about what he has done with his life.
There are many other characters in the story that are to be admired such as: Elena or the character who rebuilt Cinema Paradiso called Ciccio, each actor in this movie played an excellent role, but obviously I will not talk about all of them in the Review I tell you about these that I consider, for me, the most important.
Es la madre de Toto, como toda mujer que debe ser padre y madre a la vez, no la tiene fácil, su trabajo se duplica y, además, tiene a un hijo que le hace la vida más difÃcil, que solo quiere vivir metido en un cine, le da dinero para que compre comida para la casa, y Toto la gasta en el cine, lo manda a algún lugar y Toto se desvÃa al cine 🤣🤣, y asÃ, si lo analizas bien son cosas que harÃa cualquier niño, pero para una mujer sola en esa época, con dos niños pequeños y con un esposo que perdió en la guerra, cuya pérdida aún no supera, es una situación muy difÃcil.
Sin embargo, Doña MarÃa, como le dice la gente del pueblo, hace lo que puede, termina por aceptar los deseos que vio en su hijo desde que era un niño, asà que lo deja ser feliz, porque ella entiende que él debe seguir su voluntad y, además, Toto se convierte en un adolescente educado, estudioso, trabajador y aplicado, por lo que no tiene nada que reprocharle sobre lo que ha hecho con su vida.
Hay muchos otros personajes en la historia que son de admirar como: Elena o el personaje que reconstruyó el Cinema Paradiso llamado Ciccio, cada actor en esta pelÃcula hizo un excelente papel, pero evidentemente no voy hablar de todos en la Review les cuento de estos que considero, para mÃ, los más importantes.

The censorship in the cinema in the film emphasizes something important and is the transition that gave the cinema from its beginnings where any kind of body contact between the characters was excluded because they were considered "not suitable for all audiences", however many of those scenes that at that time were considered unsuitable, are even the most important scenes of a whole film, they are the scenes where more feelings are shown, where there was more acting work and where there was more cinematographic work, but depending on the place where it is projected they are censored, even when they are completely innocent scenes like a hug or a kiss and they are completely necessary for the development of the story.
Nowadays in a world where social networks show you more than a pornographic movie this has absolutely no place, but at that time everything was excessive, and in the name of religion the representatives of them thought they had the right to divide the art at their convenience, to keep a whole people away from sin, come on! as if removing those scenes would make people stop having impure thoughts 🙃. The message is how extremist religions can be, the bad decisions that can be derived from this, and most importantly the need to not censor movies in any way because they restrict the freedom of expression of the artist who created the work! 😤.
Follow tour heart, There are people that you see in retrospect when they are adults and seem to have been born to be what they became when they grew up, it is incredible how they have inclinations for some things since they are very small, for example people who are dedicated to art, seem to have since childhood a thought that seems different from the rest, they see the world in a different way, they have a broader imagination that allows them to see things where others do not, and above all, they love things that others do not love! that's why I liked that they emphasized this, Toto followed the path he was destined for since he was a little boy, which was those movie screenings, he didn't give up! he did what he knew since he was a little boy that would make him happy.
The importance of the arts for personal development, I do not know if everyone knows it, but I will still talk about this, people who are dedicated to the arts tend to develop over time more neural connections that translates into more intellect, they learn to have a more developed visuospatial intelligence, as well as abstract thinking, they develop creativity, they are more likely to develop emotional intelligence because they perceive emotions and know how to interpret them, even manage them, they even seem to feel in a more intense way and that is because when you practice them you activate many portions of your brain and a fundamental part that is stimulated is the one related to memory and emotions, that is why you are able to express emotions through any of the artistic branches, that is why they are used as a means of communication and even to improve diseases related to memory, something completely proven by science.
If you think about it when we are little the first thing they teach us in elementary school is to color, play with plasticine and create drawings with textures like magazine clippings, grains, etc, art allows us to develop our cognition, sensory and motor skills, when we are more adults the arts allow us to improve interpersonal interactions, social development, and a lot of other benefits through an improvement of empathy, perception and self-control, that's why I liked that they showed how Toto's whole life developed since he was a child through his connection with cinema, because yes, maybe he didn't create the movies, but learning from such a young age to admire them, where they come from, the mechanism of how they are projected, and to try to understand them, was practically the same as if he had participated in their creations, because his brain learned to perceive emotions through those images, to communicate, to express himself, to analyze them, and finally to admire them! And all this learning in one way or another was always going to be beneficial for his personal growth, that's why I say that cinema is one of the best forms of education!
- The importance of love for the human being, as I said before Toto learned the meaning of love through cinema, because he loved Cinema with all his strength! But as all human beings are social beings by nature, one of our main objectives in life ends up being to find the love of a partner; Toto for a while felt that what he felt for the cinema was enough for him, but as time went by other needs developed, this film is beautiful because of that, because it shows two forms of that feeling, that none can replace the other, but as different as they are, they are just that, different forms of the most beautiful feeling in the universe that is to love and how incomplete you feel when you don't reach it 💔.
Ya les dije gran parte de ellos en mi análisis sobre la trama, pero debo recalcar algunos más:
- La importancia de la figura paterna para un niño creo sin lugar a dudas que Alfredo se convierte en la figura más importante para Toto independientemente que no sea su padre biológico, es el mejor ejemplo a seguir para él, darÃa todo por él, arriesgarÃa su vida por él, lo cuidará en la vejez y seguirá sus consejos sin protestar ni un segundo porque para él ¡es su padre! y ¿qué mensaje más bonito en una pelÃcula que éste cuando la historia se desarrolla justamente en un escenario post guerra donde tantos niños quedaron sin sus padres? Si ese mensaje no es el más hermoso, no sé lo que es 🥺.
- La censura en el cine en la pelÃcula se recalca algo importante y es la transición que dio el cine desde sus inicios donde se excluÃa cualquier tipo de contacto corporal entre los personajes porque se consideraban "no aptos para todo público", sin embargo mucha de esas escenas que en ese momento se consideraban no aptas, son incluso las escenas más importantes de todo un film, son las escenas donde se demuestra más sentimientos, donde hubo más trabajo actoral y donde hubo más trabajo cinematográfico, pero dependiendo del lugar donde se proyecte las censuran, aun cuando son escenas completamente inocentes como un abrazo o un beso y son extremadamente necesarias para el desarrollo de la historia.
Actualmente en un mundo donde las redes sociales te muestran más que una pelÃcula pornográfica esto no tiene absoluta cabida, pero en ese tiempo todo era excesivo, y en nombre de la religión católica los representantes de ellas se creÃan en el derecho de fraccionar el arte a su conveniencia, para mantener a todo un pueblo lejos del pecado ¡vamos! como si quitar esas escenas hicieran que las personas dejaran de tener pensamientos impuros 🙃. El mensaje es lo extremista que pueden llegar a ser las religiones, las malas decisiones que se pueden derivar a partir de esto, y lo más importante la necesidad de ¡No censurar el cine de ninguna forma porque coartan la libertad de expresión del artista que creó la obra! 😤 Y es para el cine como para todas las demás formas de arte.
- Seguir lo que te dicta el corazón, hay personas que las ves en retrospectiva cuando son adultos y parecieran haber nacido para ser en lo que se convirtieron al ser grandes, es increÃble como presentan inclinaciones para algunas cosas desde que son muy pequeños, por ejemplo las personas que se dedican al arte, parecen tener desde niños un pensamiento que pareciera distinto al resto, ven el mundo de una forma diferente, tienen una imaginación más amplia que les permiten ver cosas donde los demás no, y sobre todo ¡aman cosas que otros no aman! por eso me gustó que recalcaran esto, Toto siguió el camino para el que estaba destinado desde pequeño, que eran esas proyecciones de cine ¡no se rindió! hizo lo que sabÃa desde pequeño que lo llenarÃa de felicidad.
- La importancia de las artes para el desarrollo personal, yo no sé si todos lo saben, pero igual les hablaré de esto, las personas que se dedican al artes tienden a desarrollar con el tiempo más conexiones neuronales y eso se traduce en ¡más intelecto! aprenden a tener una inteligencia viso-espacial más desarrollada, igual que el pensamiento abstracto, desarrollan la creatividad, tienen mayor probabilidad de desarrollar inteligencia emocional porque perciben las emociones, las saben interpretar y gestionarlas; parecieran, incluso, sentir de una forma más intensa y eso es porque cuando las prácticas activas muchas porciones de tu cerebro y una parte fundamental que es estimulada es la relacionada con la memoria y las emociones, por eso eres capaz de expresar emociones a través de cualquiera de las ramas artÃsticas, por eso se usan como un medio de comunicación e incluso para mejorar enfermedades relacionadas con la memoria, algo completamente comprobado por la ciencia.
Si lo analizan, cuando somos pequeños lo primero que nos enseñan en primaria es a colorear, a jugar con plastilina y crear dibujos con texturas como recortes de revistas, granos, etc, el arte nos permite desarrollar nuestra cognición, el sensorio y las habilidades motoras, cuando somos más adultos las artes permiten mejorar las interacciones interpersonales, el desarrollo social, y otro montón de beneficios más a través de una mejorÃa de la empatÃa, la percepción y el autocontrol, por eso me gustó que mostraran cómo se desarrolló toda la vida de Toto desde que era un niño a través de su conexión con el cine, porque sÃ, puede ser que él no creara las pelÃculas, pero el aprender desde tan pequeño a admirarlas, de donde vienen, el mecanismo de cómo se proyectan, y a tratar de entenderlas, fue prácticamente lo mismo que si hubiera participado en sus creaciones, porque su cerebro aprendió a percibir las emociones a través de esas imágenes, a comunicarse, a expresarse, a analizarlas, y finalmente ¡a admirarlas! Y todos estos aprendizajes de una forma u otra siempre iban a ser beneficiosos para su crecimiento personal, por eso digo que ¡el cine es una de las mejores formas de educación! y las personas que admiran el cine desde tan pequeños tienen un gran desarrollo de su inteligencia, por todo esto que les acabo de decir.
- La importancia del amor para el ser humano, como dije anteriormente Toto aprendió el significado del amor a través del cine, porque ¡él amaba el cine con todas sus fuerzas! Pero como todos los seres humanos somos seres sociales por naturaleza, uno de nuestros principales objetivos de vida termina siendo el encontrar el amor de pareja; Toto por un tiempo sintió que lo que él sentÃa por el cine era suficiente para él, pero a medida que el tiempo iba pasando se fueron desarrollando otras necesidades, esta pelÃcula es hermosa por eso, porque muestra dos formas de ese sentimiento, donde ninguna puede sustituir a la otra, pero por muy distintas que sean, son eso, formas diferentes del sentimiento más hermoso que hay en el universo que es ¡el amor! y lo incompleto que te sientes cuando no lo puedes alcanzar del todo 💔.

Cuando vean la pelÃcula entenderán a que me refiero con este punto que es súper importante, asà que ¡Debes verla!
